PLEASE READ THIS PRIOR TO DOING BUSINESS WITH LEAFFILTER ••••• This company will rob you blind. Two sales rep came to our house to provide us estimates. Both Estimates were totally different. Sales rep. by name of “Rick” showed up at 5:30 Pm, wrote up estimate, he was so pushy to get us yo sign the contract that he made all kind of lies and keep forgetting what he had said, at 6:30 Pm he tells us if we sign the contract right then then we get a price of $4500 for partial gutter replacement. Rick claimed if we do not sign the contract and leave deposit with him before he leaves then our price will be $7800. Rick remind me a cheap car sales with minimum education and training who can Not get a job any where else than a dishonest, low class car dealer. He kept putting down all his compatibles rather than telling us the high points of LeafFilter’s ?? Cuz there is None. Rick keep trying to act cutesy?? Rick was telling us about his personal problems with his wife, like he never listens to his wife and always ignores her requests?? His wife turns the Best up to 90 degrees and goes to bedroom and turns the fans on?? You ask me this guy has chip on his shoulder, he is a lied and dishonest person in doing business and in his personal life.he acts like a looser red neck!! If a company hires this kind of salesman it is clear that they are not honest nor have any concerns for their customers. Against my wishes my sister hired this idiot. Next day we have two guys showing up at our house, they could Not speak English at all. The job was finished in such a rush, all the debris and garbage was left all over our yard and side walks. By then my sister realized what a mistake she had done by hiring this people, she had the payment check for remainder of $4400 in hand but asked the repair man’s to clean up after themselves as well as the roof of our garage that was left full of leafs and debris. The repair man refused to do so and left. Later on that night “Rick” showed up with an Attitude and treated my sister very rudely and accused her of not wanting to pay. I stayed inside since had I gone outside I would’ve thought this p*** a great listen to have respect for people, yet I didn’t feel my martial arts training should be wasted on a piece like him. Later on I found out my Mercedes Benz SUV’s front windshield is cracked, leaf’s and debris are all over my car. Even though I asked the repair man to wait till I move the car, they did not wait and told me no need for it. After a week I filed complaint with the management, I was supposed to meet them, but they never showed ip. Zack the manager called me and told me the night Rich stopped by my house to pick up the check, my windshield was not broken. Now if that was true why would he go indark and check my windshield for No reason?? Furthermore I have my two camera’s captured Rick Mot to be anywhere next the car!! Do you guys really want yo do business with a cheap car salesman, A Lier, dishonest person like Rick or Zack( the manager) ?? Can you trust them?? For sure I can not. The process was easy and went very well.

It went really well. I was very pleased with the salesman, Shawn, and the workers that came to install. They got me in really quickly after my meeting with Shawn, three days to be exact! The workers were very precise and did what they needed to do to make sure the job was done as perfectly as it could be.

This product is a scam. The company is a joke. Installing these protectors has caused leaves and debris to accumulate on top of those protectors. Thus, water from rainfall will accumulate on top of the gutters, spilling all that water around the house instead of going through the spouts. This is now damaging our home's foundations as the ground around the house has become extremely damp. I contacted the company for my money back and they laughed at me saying: "that's not happening". Please, do yourself a favor and save $5-$10,000. Don't let them anywhere near your house. Note: there's a current lawsuit in motion regarding this products many issues: [*** Link removed ***]

I had leaf filter installed last year due to the incredible sales presentation by their associate in my home. I was skeptical but was assured that it was risk free as the lifetime warranty would cover me from any clogs or issues for as long as I owned the home. I was told I could put away the ladders and enjoy a truly maintenance free experience. Well fast forward a year later and $7000 and I've had to have my gutter guards unclogged 3 times. The first two times they did it no questions asked. However, this last time they informed me that because I've had the system for a year, there would now be a $100 surcharge for them to unclog the system. Not only is this in direct contradiction to what was sold to me, but it violates many consumer protection laws. I quickly did some research and found that there is a class action lawsuit underway against Leaf Filter for exactly the reasons I just stated. Funny how this didn't come up in their sales presentation when proudly showing off their BBB and Consumer Reports ratings. Anyways, a quick phone call to the attorneys office and I'm now part of the class action suit. Do yourself a favor and save yourself from this hassle and don't overpay for a flawed product for a warranty that will not be honored, and sold by an unethical and untrustworthy business.

Leaf Filter Installers Damaged Property Installer damaged property during install. Salesman Nathan wrote work order WRONG/Not as Discussed, so result extra work I received Broken Floodlight. I witnessed Installer Josh STANDING on staircase hand rail. Now broken from wall. I have BEFORE pictures (Was tree damage insurance claim) and damaged done by installer. I can not rent property with liability of someone falling from handrail on 2nd story. I am senior depending on my rental income. Leaf filter made "NO SHOW" appointment of so called manager to view damage. Then requested photo's of damage which were sent. Making it clear that they HAVE NO INTENTION OF MAKING IT RIGHT. BUYER BEWARE, only so so product.( Alum. seemless gutter is wavy after thermal warm up) Installers are SUB CONTRACTED sub par, probably WITHOUT LIABILITY INSURANCE. Now negotiating with Discover to dispute payment. BE SURE TO INSPECT ANY WORK PERFORMED BEFORE PAYING. I failed to do so. Will update review if Leaf Filter should "Make it Right". Oh yes, contacted customer service, rearrange MY SCHEDULE to meet with Rep Wed. 3/10/2021. After waiting 1"hr, Ashley called and now no one is available. To send pictures of damage which was done 3/10/2021 With NO RESPONSE. The "no show appt. should have been my first clue. They DON'T CARE about me as post customer. Horrible. Took advantage of my mother and it doesn’t work. Rain water s coming off roof to foundation causing water intrusion problems. This is the worst company!! I am the power of attorney for my mother who is 80. She had a conman from leaffilter come to give an estimate. I called while the salesman was talking with my mother and she told him while I was on the phone she Wanted to wait and get other estimates. He waited till I was off the phone and told her it was too late to cancel. They came the next business day early and installed. She couldn’t call and cancel because she could not get ahold of anyone. This was over a month ago and they still haven’t called her back. Charged her $1993 for one side of her home (aproximatey 60 feet). My mother was taken advantage of in my opinion, but I encourage anyone to do their homework on this company. MANY others have had very bad experiences with this company..especially out of Murfreesboro/Nashville area. Buyer beware!!

I purchased a leaf filter and gutter system from this company and was satisfied with the work. A week later, two trees fell on my home and took out the newly installed gutter system. I contacted leaf filter and their customer service staff was quite helpful and professional and they said it would take over a month for someone to come out and inspect my property and provide an estimate. While I felt that was a long time, I also understood the influx of claims being reported due to weather related events. Additionally, only leaf filter can work on your system if you do not wish to void your warranty. So, you are basically on hold until they can find the time to service your property. After a month an individual came to my property and inspected it and then they instructed me that someone would contact me about a quote and service. That individual said they believed it would be about 1-2 weeks. I waited a month before reaching out because I understood they had a backlog. After reaching out, a manager of service contacted me and provided a reasonable quote for the repair but said he would call me back in a week to provide me with a service date because he would have to find a company willing to drop off the gutter because his team is unable to do that. That was fine, however, I never heard back from that manager and again I waited a month. I contacted the service center yesterday and asked the manager to call me within 24 hours. I told them I didn’t need resolution in 24 hours, just a call from the manager so that I can better understand the situation. It has now been more than 24 hours and at this point I’m not sure what else to do but write negative feedback. As you can see above, I have done my best to be reasonable and at this point I would just like to know when my property will be on the list to be repaired. One of the issues I have with this company is that I can buy a new system today and they guarantee it will be installed within two weeks but if I need a repair, which can only be done by their staff, their is not guarantee that will get back to you within even three or four months.

They are very responsive and accessible while taking your money (about $4,000) but I’ve been trying to get in touch with someone since April, leaving messages regarding a relatively minor issue we are having and no one will return my call. The lifetime warranty they brag about has proven to be just words to get you to sign the dotted line. I would have went with someone else had I known. There are several other companies out there. The warranty was one of the biggest selling points for me an my wife, but it has turned out to be a bust. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I’ve given them multiple opportunities to reach out to us, and I have never heard back from them. In all fairness, the sales person was very nice and accommodating, and the installation went very smooth. It’s a good product, they just didn’t follow through with their commitment to support the customer if any issues surface.

Job was done quickly. Looked good. Poor job of clean up. Multiple nails and screws left in driveway and yard. Picked up 15 screws and nails in driveway. Found another 25 in yard along with multiple scrap metal pieces. We had a light rain the day after and had multiple corner joints that leaked. Either they weren't caulked or was done poorly. Too much money for poor quality work. Call service group at 1-800 number, on hold for 10 minutes, and they can't get anyone out for 3 weeks. I'll update if repairs get done.

The sales representative was on time and very experienced and knowledgeable describing the products and services available. Worked closely with us to offer the best price for product and installation. We were very impressed with the installer also. Very polite and personable. Very good job and no mess. Not good! Especially considering I couldn’t even get past trying to get a quote. I don’t have a day off and took off and made time to meet with them. David Orrico came in my house and began to give me a presentation on the company. After about 10 min, in the nicest way i knew how I explained that I don’t need to be sold on the company, I already called you guys, and I want to use you, I just need to know the price. He seemed a little bothered but kind of acted like he really wanted to keep going thru with his prepared presentation. Again, I mentioned i didn’t have a lot of time and would prefer if he could just talk with me about the price. Which honestly is why he was there and why we took off. He then made a smirky remark about how he drove all the way to our house to give us the presentation and if we don’t wanna hear it then fine. And he kinda tossed all his stuff into his bag. I then asked him if he was being weird or rude bc I asked to just talk about the prices? He continued to act bothered and snippy about me not wanting to hear his presentation and I still couldn’t get him to just talk about the prices. After several attempts to get the price and him getting more bothered by my request I finally asked him to leave. I have no idea how much this guy cost the company, bc I was never given a price. Which is why I took off and scheduled them to come out. FOR AN ESTIMATE!!! if these are the people they send out into your home, I can’t imagine what I would have to deal with when they are on top of my home when I’m not here.

The crew did not seem professional at all. It was obvious that they had little experience in putting up gutters. Some of the gutters are too short. In one area water pours out of a gap that should not be there. The crew left pieces of gutter that they had cut off scattered in the backyard. I called to have the problems addressed and LeafFilter was prompt about having someone come out. Installation was around the second week November. A service assessor came out the middle of December. He filled the gap with sealer and said he would call a crew to fix the other issues at a later date. It is now February and no one has called to make an appointment to come and in addition to that the gap still leaks. I have called and left messages but no one has returned my calls.

Excellent! My gutters were a mess, clogged to the max. The tech spent a lot of time just in cleaning them out before he could even start the installation. He did an excellent job. He then installed the guards on the entire house and worked until they were complete, late into the evening because he had to do so much prep work. He had a positive attitude and said he was sorry it took him so long. I was grateful that he wanted to do such a good job.

Very good investment for our home, and very quick turnaround from purchase decision to installation.

I’m very pleased with this product. I feel this is a quality company, the salesman was very professional, not pushy at all.

All went very well except that we have a few gutters leaking onto the house and we've had them return twice since the install and the gutters still leak. I'm going to try again one more time to get them adjusted.

Young man came early this morning, was very polite, and got right to work. He was cautious not to ruin my flower beds which are mostly located under the gutters and was very considerate of my dogs in the back yard. He was a nice, courteous, young man and a very hard worker.

They showed up when they said they would and did a good job with the work and the cleanup.

Be prepared for a HARD sell, with deceptive sales practices and theatrics. The salesman showed up on time and walked around my house and detached garage to estimate what would be needed to install a gutter protection system. During this process, he stepped in my front flower bed and I had to ask him to please not step on my newly planted flowers - he didn't even look, just walked in as if there was nothing there. During the sales pitch, he started with a price of $5800. He then offered to give me funds out of his "advertising budget" and knocked $500 off, bringing the price to $5300 with 60mos interest free financing which they "don't do for most people, but could do this special" just for me. When I said that wasn't doable, he asked how much I could afford a month - I responded that the monthly payment wasn't as important to me as the total cost, but he fixated on the monthly payment and continued to press that angle. He then made a phone call to his sales manager to see if he could work out "something special" just for my situation. During the call, I started looking up reviews on Angie's List and noticed the average amount paid was much less. I told this to the sales person and he said, "yes, but that's for a different company and a different product" - so I showed him the actual reviews on Angie's List for his product. He then made statements to his sales manager like "there's water pouring into her basement" and "we need to do something immediately to help her" - this is an extreme exaggeration of the dampness in my basement, and I can only assume this was meant to scare me into signing a contract. During this call, he put the sales manager on speakerphone "so they were completely transparent" and I could feel that I was "aware of everything that was going on". The sales manager made reference to a $21,000 commercial install that might have some leftover product and he could give me a "special price" of $4300 with 48 mos financing. I asked about cancellation, and was told I could cancel within 3 days. I signed the contract.. As he was leaving, he told me the install was scheduled for the next morning at 9am. I was supposed to volunteer at my son's school that morning so that didn't work for me, he told me I didn't need to be there for the install, and he left quickly. The whole experience left me feeling uneasy, so I went online and started doing more research on pricing and gutter protection systems. What I learned was: 1) the competitors products he showed me were not the actual products, or an outdated variation. 2) he did not show me products that were comparable to their system - of which there are several 3) the price was WAY out of line, even for their product. My house is single story and tiny 4) there was a review on Angie's List, that quoted almost word-for-word the sales pitch I was given. Right down to the "advertising budget" and "special just for my situation" 5) because TN law requires companies to offer cancellation for any reason within 3 days, scheduling an immediate install is a common high-pressure sales tactic I called within an hour and cancelled the install and the financing. The sales manager, Billy Scruby, called back within 10 minutes and offered lowered the price another $500 to $3800, telling me that was the absolute lowest he could go. I said I was firm in my decision to cancel and he pressed for my reasons. When I told him I felt like I was being manipulated, Mr Scruby accused me of insulting him and became very angry. I stated that I understood his feelings, but I would not be using his company or his product. It didn't end there. The Mr Scruby called back after 8pm that night and offered to take another $1000 off his "absolutely can't go any lower" price, bringing the offer down to $2800. I told I would not be using his company at any point. Two days later, I received an alert from my credit monitoring service that they had submitted my application for financing and checked my credit. I cancelled the contract verbally within an hour of signing it. And submitted the required written cancellation by postal mail. And they still proceeded to run my credit. Not only did they run my credit, a few days later I received a credit card from Well Fargo that was opened by Leaffilter. When I called Leaffilter to ask why, they had Billy Scruby call me back and tell me there was nothing they could do for me. Again he was extremely rude and disrepectful. He interrupted me mid sentence enough times that I commented it was like speaking with my 12 year old. At that point someone in the background made an offhand comment and I realized he'd put me on speakerphone without notifying me or asking my permission. He then proceeded to argue more. I let Mr Scruby rant at me for another several minutes until he finished with "I've said all I have to say." It doesn't matter if this is the absolute best product on the market. The sales practices of this particular office are deceptive and predatory. Their treatment of me when I chose to cancel was rude and disrespectful. Their continued treatment of me after the fact is unbelievable.

It had worked so well and was such an incredibly reasonable price compared to other systems that I decided to complete the rest of my house. I was somewhat suspicious because it was such a reasonable price that I hesitated for some time. But since I have a two story house and hackberry trees all around in this older neighborhood, I had to do something as an older woman who shouldn't be climbing on extension ladders anymore. I would like to one more time so I could shout from the roof top how happy I have been. They have a life time warranty and will come back to check the system anytime you call. I called to make sure the system was still keeping the hackberry seeds out,, as well as asking a neighbor to check them out.

A lot of the gutter guard/leaf prevention company's want to sell you the gutters as well with some phony excuse about old or worn out gutters that need to be replaced. Leaf Filter can do that too if needed but their main product is a leaf filter system which in my opinion is far superior to any system out there. Anything with a gap between the gutter and any type of guard will obviously still let in leaves plus roof sand and birds can still nest in there. Leaf filter will not let sand in either but water will still go through. It is a completely sealed system. We called on a Friday afternoon and made an appointment for the next day. They will come out for an estimate on a Saturday until 3.00pm. The install was scheduled for the next Monday but due to bad weather they did call to say they would not be out but did come the next day (Tuesday) called first and showed up on time. The installer got to work immediately and worked without a break until he had finished. Cleaned up afterwards, thanked me for my business and left. He did our whole house and carport in about 6 hours. We were very impressed with the professionalism of everyone involved. The system is a little on the pricy side but I can't fault it plus I am looking forward to not ever having to get up on a ladder again and clean out the leaves and especially the sand left behind. As mentioned before they do start off with a high price but then they freely offer all these discounts which for us we would sooner just been given the bottom line up front to begin with. Overall a very pleasant experience.
