Chip came out and did the work. The service was excellent. Chip was very nice, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. He showed me things that people overlook, such as using WD-40 on all of the wear items. I would highly recommend them. I would not hesitate to use them in the future.

They did a good job. They were very professional. They didn't give me any paperwork on the doors. They were fast and efficient and did it on the spot. The doors are working great. I had to pay cash and got no paperwork. Another company actually came out when I called them. They did a good job.

I had set up an appointment for them to meet me. They agreed to meet at my house at a certain time. I got home from work and waited for quite awhile, but the tech stated he was in my driveway. There was a mix up on the location. He apologized and we rescheduled. The second appointment was a no-call, no-show. I called and left a message stating I had plans in an hour and to ask if he was going to come or not. The service provider called and I told him it was now too late. The company stated there was a time window for them to come, but in reality, we had set a specific time. I am willing to give companies a second chance, but they did not seem accommodating with time issue and there was a complete lack of ownership. I would not use them again in the future.

I bought a big deal for this service. I think he did a good job.

The service was good but the company went out of business. My garage wasn't working 2-3 weeks later so I called them to come and check it, and they have gone out of business. As far as the service at that time, it was fine. They did refer me to another company which was good. There was no extra charge. They had a year contract and they said that if I sign that and if there was any problem, they would put me first on the list and come out to fix the problem. I did that and it just happened that a couple of weeks after that, my garage door stopped working. I was pretty sure it was the sensors because I could see that the wires are kind of frayed. I called them to come back and that was when I found out they have gone out of business. The pricing was good.

Right on time, courteous and efficient in repairing both doors.

Took my money and no service!!!!!!

I was prepared to write a lengthy negative review due to the lack of responsiveness from Garage Pros and since they did not show up for their scheduled appointment (or even the rescheduled appointment after I called to ask where they were), but other recent reviews have covered these issues. After the second no-show, I did not even bother attempting to contact them (a difficult task), but just requested a refund through Angie's List (at least that process worked smoothly). Not sure what all is going on (other reviews reference money issues), but I would strongly advise others to stay away from this company.

Garage Works ended up doing the work. The owner of Garage Pro stated he was having some financial problems and needed to let some one else do the work. This is how we ended up with Garage Works. Garage Works came out and did the job. They were timely.

Horrible. Ryan is dishonest. We ordered 2 garage doors from him in February after ours were damaged by an ice storm. he took a $500 deposit and promised to have the work done in a week. (As soon as the weather cleared) He says he ordered the doors but he never did. I know because I called the manufacturer. When he finally returned my calls he said that the garage door company delivered the wrong size. Then he said we would have to pay more because it was a special order and it would take 3 more weeks. After the allotted time passed he would not return my calls. I had to resort to borrowing a friend's cell phone ( a number he didn't recognize) which he picked up immediately after just refusing to answer a call form my cell phone. Now he claims that the order was lost by the garage door supplier and it would be another 3 weeks. Again I called the company and they said he never ordered the doors. 3 more weeks pass and again no communication and no doors. Finally he sends me a text that he is going our of business and apologizes and says he is turning over the business to another company. I call the other company, they come out the next day and , voila, 2 new garage doors. Admittedly these are much lower quality than what i had originally ordered but that is because my $500 deposit has disappeared.

They installed the door opener....we had a problem with the safety sensor...called them...they didn't show up....after another attempt I went on YouTube and figured out how that the sensor was apparently blocked...and fixed it myself. then we had a wiring break and called them to fix it...they never showed up...never called....so I hired another service to repair the wire...when they arrived they made the repair and it still didn't work. they said the motherboard needed to be replaced and that it was under warranty....but if we wante to fix it it would cost appoximately 475.00 for the motherboard and 115.00 to install it...recommended that we contact the people that put it in to honor the warranty...I called the company who made the garage opener in hope that we could get them to honor the warranty so I could get this fixed. The warranty was under installer's name not mine so nothing could be done. .I tried to call the installer three times...no response....also I contacted the people who recommended him...they said they were trying to contact him themselves because another client was having problems as well and he wasn't returning their calls either. They also said they would not be giving his name out anymore. I'm writing you to ask that you also not recommend him. He apparently doesn't honor his work. I'm beginning to wonder if he was bonded or insured...that's my next search. If you need any additional information please let me know.

He was very curtious and very professional. He was very nice in answering any questions we had about the doors. I am Going to use his company again next month to fix the third garage door.

All went very well. Garage doors now operate beautifully (like new) and saved me the expense of new doors. Very pleased with everything about this company.

It was hard to schedule an appointment and found them to be unresponsive after I purchased a deal. After weeks of trying to make it work, they did come out and the work done was very good.

Overall it was worth it, my garage door before the tune up was very noisy and the chain would rattle and knock. After the adjustment the door was as quiet as you can expect a chain driven door to be.

Ryan was really nice and professional. I had another company out about 6 years ago to do a tune up & they went right towards a sales promotion but wouldn't give me an estimate after I said that I needed to wait a while. Ryan didn't mention future sales at all and simply thanked me for having him come out to do the work. After the work was done, I asked him about a rough estimate for a future new system admitting that it would take me a long time to save up the amount. He was very understanding and offered to send me a quote that would be good for a year with no pressure to set a date. He gave me a discount on the bid since I was an Angie's list customer and I received the bid very quickly.

They were very professional when they explained that they could not service my area. I appreciated how apologetic they were.

I purchased the $49 Garage Door Tune up from Garage Pros on Jan. 21, 2015 and I have not been able to get him to do the job. He finally came out Thursday of last week without the tools he needed to do the job. He promised that he would be here yesterday(Wednesday) and didn't show or has yet to return my phone call. I have another contractor coming out tomorrow. I notice that Ryan Gay has had these complaints in the past posted on BBB and your website. I don't like the way he operates, this has been going on for three weeks. I am requesting that you return the $49 I paid up front.

The only issue I had was very minor and was with the timeliness of the service. I had a window of 3-5PM and the providor did not arrive until 515. He had been slightly behind on a previous job. It was not a problem as he was only 15 minutes late. Once he got there he was in and out very quickly, recommended a quieter option on the rollers if I was interested. Overall good experience. I would use them again.

They called on the way to our home as they said they would. They were punctual and professional. In addition to fixing the problem, they advised on how to prevent it in the future. I would use them again !

I did all of the contacting. I never received 1 call from Garage Pros. I sent an email and asked for a call but did not receive a call so I called them. I was able to set up an appointment for the following week. I called on the day before the appointment to confirm. I was given a window of 10 am to 12 pm. I received a call at 12pm that he was running late but was on his way from Nashville. I live in Gallatin a good 30 minutes away. I had a chiropractor appointment at 2:30 pm that I had to cancel because he was running late. When he arrived, he examined the doors. I had purchased 1 tune-up for 1 door because that is all I was allowed to purchase. When he looked at the doors, he told me he could tune up all the doors and replace the rollers if I wanted. I told him I had only been allowed to purchase 1 tune-up. He said he would make an exception because he was running behind schedule. I asked if he was sure he had the time. He assured me he could do it in no time. He did replace the rollers on 3 of the 4 doors and did an adjustment only on the 4th door as it is not used often. I did not want to go to the expense of replacing those rollers. The doors seem to be working well. I have had no problems since the roller replacement and tune-up. All of the doors seem to be opening and closing properly and the door that was originally the problem, is closing completely where it wasn't before. All in all I was pleased with the service despite the delay.

I am very pleased with the service. A new appointment was made so the provider can replace all the wheels on the garage door.
