When they first came to do the work everything went fine, but 3 weeks later the outside lights were no longer functional. When I called back, the contactor said he couldn't find a record that they did work for me even though I had the paperwork sitting in front of me. He wanted me to fax my credit card statement, but I gave him the invoice and he finally found it. They set up two appointments and did not show up. The one year warranty is about to expire and they do not seem to want to honor it. Now when I call I am told to leave a message and they will call me back, but they never do.
Description of Work: They came to my house to install some electrical outlets and outdoor lighting. They also installed a light above my kitchen sink and a battery-operated doorbell.

My experience with them went fine. It ended up running a little more than I thought it would, but not more than they quoted. They were very professional and explained what they did. They took care of some issues that they found while they were doing the job. I was very happy with them. We had an outside light switch that turned off the breaker every time we switched it on. They found that the squirrels had chewed up some wires which caused the breaker to turn off. He had to run a new line and put a photoelectric light on the outside because he couldn?t repair the switch. It is actually very nice as we don?t have to worry about turning the light on as it automatically lights up. He found that the surge protector of the house had burned out. They were here the whole day.

Since I am a truck driver and am not usually home during the week, I was planning this electrical work for some time. I happened to get home early one week and called the company on a Friday afternoon. I indicated to the customer service representative that I was available for the balance of that day and all day on Saturday. She explained how the company worked on two-hour windows and provided several time periods for me to chose from. I chose Saturday between 10AM and noon. She then did something I respected very much. She ASKED if the electrician could call me before my appointment if he completed his previous job early. I told her he could. The customer service rep was very professional and polite. She knew her business. The next day, the electrician did call early indicating he had completed the previous job. He ASKED if I would mind if he came by before the appointment. I told him no problem and he said he was in my part of town and would be there shortly. Two electricians arrived in a company van. They introduced themselves and I walked them through the work I wanted. They then prepared a detailed cost sheet based upon the level of difficulty for each item. All costs were inclusive and there were no surprises. For instance, changing a dual GFI outlet in the bathroom to a quad (four outlets) was a ?level 2? and would be $99. Period. The cost sheet detailed each item I wanted done with the total of all listed. There was none of the shenanigans some tradesmen pull where they say ?well, we need to run the wire forty feet to the box so that will be extra.? With County-Wide, there were no ?extras.? If I had deemed a particular item to be too expensive for me, or I could do it cheaper, then I could have eliminated it from the list. As it was, I found the prices to be fairly reasonable for professional tradesmen* (more on the electricians, later). They were careful to explain exactly what they would be doing and also made sure that was what I wanted. After we were all on the same page, they went to work. They indicated that they would probably not complete the work that day and would make arrangements for a time to complete it. This was wholly expected since I had a decent-sized list and obviously more that two-hours worth of work. At the close of their work window, we made arrangements for completion the following week. The customer service representative called to make sure it was still ok to work on the agreed upon day. It was. Following completion, the electrician called and told me that everything was completed. He also urged me to call should I have any problems or questions. When I arrived home this evening (just passing through), I found that all projects had been professionally completed and that there wasn?t a trace of sawdust or dirt at any of the work sites. County-Wide may absolutely rely on my future business. I urge my fellow Angie?s Listers to avoid looking for the cheapest. You might just get some guy in a pickup truck that learned electrical work from a course he found on a matchbook cover. *Just a note about the electricians. I had the occasion to chat with the two electricians who completed my projects. These were true electrical professionals - Masters of their trade with many years of experience. Randy learned the trade through apprenticeship with the IBEW, and Lou through the program at Tennessee Tech. Each have many years in commercial electrical work and my little projects were far from a challenge for them. Yet they treated my job as important as any commercial enterprise. They were professional, courteous, and capable of explaining the work which was to be done. I trust them implicitly with ANY electrical work and recommend them without hesitation.
Description of Work: Company installed three new outlets (two GFI) at various locations, added two switches (including one for a hot water heater), and changed a dual outlet to a quad (also GFI). Two of the new outlets were 20 amp in the garage and required routing overhead to a new circuit in the breaker box.

The workmanship was good the services offered were good, the service man was profesional and courteuos. The only problem I had with them was that I felt the work was over priced. I feel that it would have been more cost efficeint if the electricain charged an hourly rate plus materials.
Description of Work: COUNTY-WIDE ELECTRIC LLC installed a ceiling fan, 6 GFI outlets and also did a breaker box tune up for me.

I called the company to schedule an electrician to come to my home for some repairs. He was scheduled to come on a Friday between certain hours prearranged. He was running behind but called to tell me a new time that we agreed on. He performed the work but we had to schedule another time for more work to be done. Jason showed up for the second appointment on time and performed the work that needed to be completed. Everything was done quickly and professionally. The office staff calls to arrange the times and follows up to make sure you are satisfied or you don't pay. You also receive a $25 off coupon for any work you need done in the future. I was told the exact price prior to any work being done.
Description of Work: Ceiling fans installed, electrical outlets replaced, electrical wiring and fuses checked.
