CITY TILE & FLOOR COVERING

I requested a quote over a week ago and have not heard from this company yet.

We recently had our kitchen floor redone. The people at City Tile were great from start to finish. They started by giving us a free estimate (others in our area charge to give an estimate). City Tile’s prices were very reasonable and lower than the other estimates we received. They were very accommodating with our schedule and needs and the men who came out to do the work were very professional, friendly, courteous, and hard working. They did a great job and the floor looks great. After they left we did notice one piece of trim that was not secured properly. We called City Tile and the same men came back out the exact same day and immediately fixed the issue. We couldn’t be happier with our new floor.

We thought that the man that came out to do it did a real good job he knew what he was doing, I had been concerned with that cause this is a product that is kind of new and I didn't know he would have had experience with it but he did a good job. I don't remember about the man that came out he probably was punctual but I know we got pretty frustrated trying to deal with them prior to that.

The installer was supposed to arrive by 0900. After calling at 1000, I was told they would be there at 1030. They finally showed up around 1600 and spent a little over 6 hours installing the carpet. I would never use them again nor would I recommend them to anyone.

We do a lot of business with a company called City Tile and Floor Covering. City Tile and Floor Covering do carpet, tile and hard flooring. We like them very, very much. They have great service. They are very friendly. They have quite a large selection. We have got area rugs, carpeting, tile, both floor tile and kitchen and bath tile. I would use them again in the future.

Found another installer, less cost, able to complete with original amount of tile, underlayment, and grout.

Great job in-store, but we bought from another source

Began with consultant "Susan" coming to our home to get a first-hand look at what we wanted to do. Sent tile samples home with us to evaluate. The job started on time, finished as advertised. Susan came by each day to check on progress. When finished, the crew did a good clean-up and moved everything back into the room. Nothing broken or damaged. A true one-stop, turn key operation. Perhaps not the cheapest in town, but the service provided and quality of work justify a bit of added cost!

Even though the staff is knowledgeable, I found it almost impossible to get a return call on quotes which took up to 2 or more weeks on average (the last quote I asked for I never heard back from at all. I worked with Junior). I decided to ultimately go with another company because I realized that if they wouldn't make me a priority before the purchase, why would they after I bought from them? I even called the owner regarding my experience (had to leave a message). I never heard a word back.

I felt like the service was excellent, and they were a very professional company. They completed everything in a timely manner. The amount due was the estimate that was given to me. They also took time with me to explain what they were going to do.

City Tile and Floor Covering made sure we were happy. We went there because they have such a good reputation in our city, and have been here many years. We had not done business with them before, but we plan on purchasing carpet there soon.

The work they did was very good, they left it a little messy but it was still good quality work and was very affordable. I was very pleased and would do business with them again.

City Tile and Floor Covering needs to work on who they hire as subcontractors. The one we had was very rude and messy. He didn't clean up after himself, and he took a lot longer than he said he would. He was very unprofessional too. He brought his grandchild with him.
