03/09/21 Signed Contract and paid half ($3100) for fence with Bratton Bros I was told the fence is delayed and would be June timeframe to complete, which I said was fine. I have reached out many times since June and made contact with someone a few times and requested an update. Each contact the person told me they would get back with me and have an update. No one ever followed up. I even told them I would change to a different color fence if that would speed up the process. Again, they said they'd get back, but no one did. I've been without a fence around my pool for months which isn't optimal at best. I need to get the fence installed now. The owner has been involved and still, not progress. I've been lied too about install dates and product readiness and they still have my money. STAY CLEAR!!

Though their communication can at times be a bit touch-and-go, and this summer’s Covid related materials shortages accounted for long delays beyond the contractor’s control, I eventually ended up with a new fence all around the back and one side of my property that I’m very pleased with. The salesman was friendly and knowledgable, though sometimes responsive and other times not so much. We had to go back and forth a few times to nail down the details, and sometimes that was quick, while other times delayed for several days for unknown reasons. The material shortages were frustrating, extending the lead time several weeks beyond the original 5 week estimate, though I believe that was likely unavoidable by the contractor. The actual crew that built the fence was outstanding! They tore down all my old fence and built the new one in two days. Overall I’m very satisfied. I wasn’t looking for just another dog-eared fence; I had a specific design in mind, with changes in elevation, wanted quality materials used, and I shopped around to see who could deliver. In the end, Bratton Bros. came through and delivered at a competitive price.

They were really good overall. Their salesman was great. It's the second fence I've had put up by them. It was absolutely wonderful. Their work turned out great.

Rep came out and measured for estimate, returned a week later or so for measurements and marking outline with flags. Nice, easy-going fellow. Said it would be 3 weeks before crew could install fence, but they arrived a week early with no warning, no phone call, and began the work. One day to install posts (all wooden ones and metal ones too). A couple of days later they returned and installed the rest of the fence and it looked pretty good. It began to rain and they continued working until finished. The next day the gate area was a mud pit. They had trampled the grass to death going in and out of the gate and made it impossible to use the gate without sinking in several inches of mud. We hadn't yet finished moving in, so now we had to use the front door making the move more difficult than it should have been. The wooden gate hardware was in pretty bad shape - looked like someone had mangled the aluminum and they had to break it off, leaving sharp unsightly edges and a bent rod that was supposed to be straight. The nuts and bolts were old, incorrect size and rusted. Then I noticed that one side of the chain link look like a wave, up and down. The large car-gate in the chain link is not hung very well - the latch barely reaches across the gap between the two halves, and the posts are all different heights. No one came to check on the work once done, so I called to complain about the above and the Rep came back to take a look and agreed that the problems were legit and promised they'd address them. The did fix the wooden gate hardware. They also sent a man to rake the mud although he mostly simply dug out what little grass remained and raked the mud along the fence line so the problem is now even larger than it was. The raking also simply tore out what little grass remained. He said he cut down one of the fence posts on the car gate, but it looked the same to me after he left. And the wave in the long side of the fence? I was told my yard and quot;wavesand quot; and there was nothing they could do - if they moved the and quot;humpand quot; down, then the chain link would stick up higher above it. They said they'd send someone with sod and fill in the mud hole at the small chain link gate, but when I called days later I was told there was no one selling sod right now so there was nothing they could do. Did they ever try to contact me to let me know what was going on? NO. Did they send rep out to ensure fence was installed to my satisfaction? NO. Once they had the money; they were gone. I cannot believe that a reputable fence company would treat a customer's lawn like that. A tarp laid down would have prevented the problem. Or not doing the work in the rain. I've seen fence workers lay tarp for the dirt as they dug the post holes, but these guys just spread it around the posts in a line leaving large clogs to grind up in my my mower. No consideration for the property, only interested in getting in and out in the least time possible. The Rep bragged about the quality of their and quot;product,and quot; so I was expecting pretty good quality. But the chain link is small and cheap. The Rep saw my stair rails and said they were poor quality and they could put in new ones of much better quality, but from seeing the so-called high-quality chain-link they put in I question their opinion on what constitutes high quality. The chain link posts are the same or less and quot;qualityand quot; as my stair rails. Sure am I glad I said no to him on that one! Avoid them if you value your lawn. And if you do hire them, don't be fooled by their claims of high quality materials. It's just average or less. To their credit, the wood fence looks great. I just wished the chain link looked as good and that they didn't trash my lawn.

Could not be more happy! Crew did an outstanding job removing my old 6' privacy wood fence and installed a new one. People were very friendly and answered all my questions. Would highly recommend to anyone needing fencing services.

Our experience with Bratton Bros Services was very good. We had a tree fall and hit our chain link fence. The main damage was a gate that had to be replaced. I actually contacted another fence company that only did installations and they referred me to Bratton for the repair. A rep came out right away and gave me an estimate that was accepted without question by the insurance company. The repairs were done reasonably timely. I was not in a hurry and did not ask them to rush the job. The gate fit perfectly and I was more than satisfied to get good work done on what I assume was a small job.

I am very happy with them. I like their price and I like the quality of their product. It looks nice and everything works well. There was some screws missing and they had to come back and fix it.

Smooth transaction. Good looking sturdy fence at an appropriate cost.

I called Brattyon Bros. on Wednesday, e-mailed them photos of the damage; received a call and a written quote and the team came out Thursday and repaired the fence. They were exceptionally professional and I am most satisfied with the service of this company.
