Benchmark Plumbing

The crew that came out were very professional. They were able to fix the problem by replacing the part on the spot. We had been quoted $450 by another company to do the same work so the price seemed fair. It did take a while however to get them to come out. They came as planned once a date was set up but getting the date set up took a few phone calls.

A few tips when working with this plumbing company: 1) Poor customer service skills from Jill, beyond poor, extremely rude and unprofessional. The plumbers themselves were difficult to work with but Jill, the owner, Rooster put us in a defensive position. 2) They charge between 20-30% more than suppliers. Before you work with them, ensure that you understand what they and other companies are responsible for. 3) Poor workmanship, they will point the finger every which way and put you on a and quot;listand quot; to help you out. They are very uncomfortable to speak with when we tried to explain and work out problems with them. Make sure you check all the standard stuff, make sure they take the screens out of the faucets before running the water, watch your drains and make sure there isn't debris in them, ensure that you have hot and cold water in each faucet and have them check the pressure at each faucet - before you pay them. 4) Whomever gave you Benchmark Plumbing as a reference don't work with them either, they weren't the worst contractor but probably the 4th worst, certainly an unforgettable experience.
