Allstar Fence & Deck

The company came out and walked my property and then gave me ideas as to what fencing would work best, cost estimates, etc. I had to wait to have a shed put in before I could have the fencing installed and Allstar was very patient and worked with my schedule. They actually came a day before schedule and installed all the posts. The completed the whole job over a weekend and the fence looks great as is very professional.

Very well. They came out and did the job in two days. The fence looks fantastic! I had one part I didn't like, and they fixed it right away. This was a great investment and keeps our dogs in. We got the farm fence with added wire fence (to keep dogs in). They handbuilt gates that are sturdy and attractive. I've already asked about getting an deck and will do that soon.

Replaced with same fence, added an additional gate. Project took two days. One day to remove old fencing, and set new posts. Second day, all fencing was constructed and completed. The workmen were prompt, courteous and answered all of my questions. Clean up was thorough and complete. I would definitely use them again.

From the on-site quote to finish of the fence it took about a week and a half! I couldn't be more pleased with the final product. Great company to work with.

Terrific! Libby was very flexible when we had to change the installation date a couple of times. James spent a lot of time explaining what they were going to do. They were right on-time both times: first time to tear down the old fence, dig post holes, and place posts; the second time (two days later, to let the cement set) to build out the frame and pickets. The price was the best we found, and there were no surprise charges at the end. The work was amazingly fast and organized (how they get that much done in so short a time, I don't know!). The quality of the work is great: pickets are even and straight, and seem like very good quality, and the way they handled a couple of obstacles (trees and existing iron gate) was perfect. The guys in the crew were all pleasant and courteous, as well. Will definitely call them again if we need similar work in the future, and will recommend them to friends. Thanks!

Update: Allstar honored their warranty and removed the warping fencing. Everything looks good and I'd like to thank Libby and her crew. Original review: I probably picked the worst time in Spring to schedule a new fence - so the initial coordinating took a minute. However, Libby was easy to work with and quoted a fair deal on a rear privacy fence and front picket fence. Construction was treated pine. The work was completed quickly once scheduled. Her crew were friendly and professional. I'd originally liked them enough to ask for quotes on a teardown and rebuild of my rear deck. Received a response and quote with promise to follow up in June to begin work. In the mean time, after a couple of months, some of the 8 ft posts began to twist and bend and many of the 8 ft pickets began to warp. A few pretty severely. I reached out in June for a status on deck scheduling and let Libby know that there were few issues with wood quality that I'd like them to correct. Never heard from her again. I'm not sure if there are communication issues, extremely busy schedules, or they do not stand behind their work. However, I expect a new fence to remain straight and attractive a little longer than a couple months.

Highly recommended! I received estimates from several companies. I chose Allstar not only because of price but their recommendations at the time of the estimate and of course the Angie's List reviews. Allstar completed the work exactly as promised and also were able to make last minute adjustments quickly. I have already recommended them to two people and I will continue to do so.

These guys are the BEST. Libby is fantastic to work with. She is a great communicator and is extremely responsive and punctual. This was a new construction home and they installed the fence just several days after we closed. It was a big job; over 300' of 6' tall pressure treated pine, arched with exposed gothic posts. The crew was very courteous and cleaned up everything when they were done. They knocked this fence out in a couple of days and it is the best looking fence in the neighborhood. We received 3 estimates prior to choosing Allstar and they were the lowest. We are so happy with the fence and I would highly recommend Libby and her team. I would use them again for sure.

Overall it was a good experience. They promptly came out for an estimate and were very nice and helpful. There was not a concrete date set for them to start but an estimation being that it is a busy time of the year. They started and finished with in the correct time frame; however they started the fence without calling to say they were coming - which wasn't bad I just thought was odd. But it was a pleasant surprise to come home and see posts up. They were very accommodating when we wanted to change the location of some of the posts and prompt with returning phone calls. They did forget to put one of our gates in but promptly came and fixed that within one day. They were done in about 2 days and it looks great. I would definitely recommend them. Quality work, easy to work with and good price compared to other companies.

I can highly recommend Allstar Fence. They installed approximately 250' of post and cap fence at our home. We couldn't be happier with the fence and the entire process from start to finish. Extremely impressed with our 200ft2 deck extension and front picket fence installation! This company was so wonderful to work with from beginning to end. They were also able to work with our deadline for completion- so that everything would be ready for our sons birthday party. Not only that, the job was completed in about a day! very good craftsmanship and the crew asked us questions throughout the install, so that we had input about the final product and aesthetic nuances. We had a new house built and contacted 3 fence companies for the initial bid. We went with Allstar Fence based on price, communication and reviews. Libby was wonderful to work with - showed up on time for initial meeting, answered all of our questions and responded quickly to our emails/texts/calls throughout the whole process. We had planned to have the fence installed our first week in the house but it wasn't possible due to excessive rain during that time. Libby stayed in touch and planned everything around our decision on when the ground was ready. The crew came out on time and installed the posts on Wednesday and the fence on Friday. They did a great job and there was no mess left behind. We had a couple of minor changes that needed to be made and they came right back on Monday to complete them. We love our new fence and our dogs are very happy to have their own place to play! I highly recommend Allstar Fence!!

So far, their work has been great. I am pleased with the fence. However, it has been hard for them to come out and finish a few things. They also left some debris in the yard.

they did a great job. Quickly came out to give me a quote. Lined up the work as soon as the weather would allow. Tore down one day, put the new fence the next day after the poles were set. Came with a big crew who got the work done quickly and efficiently. The fence looks great and I feel good because they were substantially cheaper than some other quotes I got.

I like using local companies for improvements around my home and the owners of Allstar Fencing did not let me down. They came to my home quickly to discuss and make recommendations for my immediate fencing needs and promptly sent me a quote. They were reasonably priced, professional and arrived and completed the job quickly. I would highly recommend this local company. I love my new look and have had several compliments!

Owner arrived ahead of schedule and gave us a quote on-site. He was very knowledgeable. We were worried about having a lot of rock in our yard, he built that potential into the quote with the maximum it would cost and told us that if they didn't hit as much rock, it would be less than the quote. It was a major plus knowing the maximum price in advance. Even with the maximum pricing, they were very competitive with the other 4 quotes we received. They said they could schedule us in about 2 weeks, it turned out to be about 5 days instead. After work completed it turned out they didn't hit as much rock as anticipated and the final price was less than the quote. We definitely recommend them!

Great quality work and efficient crew. We have quite high standards for house projects and we would hire Allstar Fence again. Libby, James and Matthew gave us great recommendations for what would work for our yard and to fit in with the woods behind our house. Our new aluminum fence is beautiful and blends well with our home and surroundings. I would highly recommend this company and happy with how reasonable their pricing is.

Once the fencing arrived from the manufacturer, all went well. The reason I gave ALLSTAR a "C" for punctuality was because I was told the fence would most likely be installed the last week in May. I was called the first week in June and told that the manufacturer of the fencing was behind in fabrication and that it would most likely be ready for installation the last week in June. Ultimately, installation did not take place until July 15th, delaying the completion of the project by 7 weeks. I truly believe ALLSTAR was at the mercy of the manufacturer, but that should not be the customer's problem. Perhaps ALLSTAR should have a secondary fencing source when these situations arise. That said, the fence is absolutely beautiful, and does a great job keeping my young lab mix contained. Every visitor has commented on how the fencing adds to the curb-appeal of the house! Additionally, the ALLSTAR team (the full crew) were very courteous, professional and efficient, putting up the entire fence in one day.

Allstar Fence removed a chain link fence from my property so that I could have an underground pet containment system installed. The owner (Libby) was very responsive to my both initial and follow-up calls (a true rarity among most "service" providers!) and I was able to have the work scheduled on a date that fit Allstar's workload and my schedule. I highly recommend.

I saw a crew from Allstar installing a fence at a neighbor's house on 6/17 and asked the foreman (Matt) to come over and talk to me about the job I had. We discussed the scope of the work to be done and he quoted me a price. He suggested they might be able to schedule the work to occur within about a week. When I didn't hear from Allstar after about 10 days, I called the office to inquire about a start date and got a recording. Later that day, I called Matt and he told me he would probably be able to call me the following week to schedule the work. Sure enough, he called me the following week and scheduled the work for Saturday, 7/12. The install team arrived promptly at 0800 as scheduled and quickly removed the existing fence and fence posts. They cut the fence sections in half and stacked them so that I could easily move them in my pickup to the dump. They accidentally struck an irrigation water line, but immediately and properly repaired it. There were some irrigation electric lines that had been embedded in the concrete balls around the fence posts during the original installation, and they carefully chipped those out. Several of the posts had been sunk only about a foot deep, so they dug out all of the post holes to the proper depth. They had to jack hammer rock from one post hole for it to go deep enough. At the start of the job, we looked at a short free-standing section of fence next to the house that wasn't steady, and Matt said his original plan was to pour a concrete moat to stabilize it. Apparently, after further inspection, Matt decided to entirely replace the two posts, and did so at no charge. The crew was done in less than 1/2 day and left the work area clean and picked up. I highly commend Matt and his crew on the job they did for us and heartily recommend them. The work was competently performed on schedule and on budget. I will definitely use them again should the need arise.

The sales person (wife of the owner) was especially helpful and professional in designing the fence to meet our needs. The installers arrived promptly, worked together efficiently and effectively, and completed the fence within a day and a half. When we needed a slight adjustment, they came back promptly and without extra charge. We are very pleased with the experience of working with them and with the results. We highly recommend this company.

The estimate and work were done in a timely and professional manner. Despite the fact that my job was relatively small, they were able to come out within one week of the estimate and accommodate my schedule, which I appreciated. I would definitely hire them again for future work and highly recommend them to anyone who needs major or minor fencing work done.

When I started looking for a fence company I asked friends for referrals and out of all the places that I called, Allstar was the only one that returned my phone call. From the first phone call I made to Allstar, they were prompt, courteous and professional. Libby came out the next day, measured the yard and gave me a rock solid quote that day. She told me to call her when I was ready and she would schedule the utility companies to mark the liines in the yard. We had a couple of weather setbacks, but once they had a clear day, they started early and got the yard finished in one day. I just can't say enough about how courteous and professional all of the workers were! I met with James when the work was done and he made sure that I liked it and said to call them if we found anything we were not happy with. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fence!
