Mark, the owner, was very courteous and not at all pushy when he came to give us an estimate. I also received two other estimates from other roofers, one being sky high. Mark wasn't the actual lowest but, I felt comfortable with him and the difference in price was minimal, not to mention he was a nearby neighbor and I knew where he lived in case of trouble, ha. Anyway, one of his premium workers was out with an injury so I had to schedule a few months out, which wasn't an issue. Once they started the job they never stopped. Like I said, I had my house, shop and barn to do. On all three there was damaged wood to be replaced from previous leaking. I also had them put in 2 vent turbines on the house. Everything went fine with all three. It took a little longer with a man out but, the guys were not slackers. They were there every day and worked the entire day. I did have a slight issue on my shop but, Mark quickly made it right. After the job was completed, most of trash was disposed of as you would expect but there's always some lingering nails or scraps of old shingles. When they are tearing off 3 roofs and replacing them, I kind of expect some of that. I will say though, I have never picked up a nail in a tire to this day, although I have picked up a lot of nails. All in all, I liked Mark and his crew and would use their services again if the need arose.

The crew arrived bright and early on the day scheduled and got right to work. I was very impressed with how professional the crew was. Each person knew exactly what they were to do and they did it. They worked hard all day and by the end of the day I had a new roof, which also included all new decking, and they had cleaned up all the mess. My house was built back in the 40's and Mark Ham explained everything to me in terms I could understand. He even showed me each phase they were doing as it was done. I couldn't be happier that I chose this company to do the work. I highly recommend them.

Contacted the company late last winter. I had used them back in 2000 to repair my own roof and they did an outstanding job. The original owner was great, mr. Ham, he has passed on the business to his son, and unfortunately the attention to detail is no longer at the company. Initially things went well as his son gave an estimate fairly quickly after I called. I asked for an estimate for the roof at two houses to stop leaks and also to fix rotted wood and a gutter at one of the houses. He gave an estimate for the roofs, but said he would have to use a sub-contractor for the wood and gutter and would get back to me. I told him to go ahead with the job and he did the job on the roofs. But he was very difficult to follow up with. Every time I called the office, the secretary said he would get back to me but he never did. I realize it was busy last Spring with the bad weather, but I feel once you are working for someone you should be more attentive. The roof job appeared good on inititial appearance, but at one of the houses, we had a wind storm in April and some of the shingles he replaced got turned up. When I went up on the roof to nail them back down, I noticed very few nails in the shingles especially near the valley, and thus felt the workmanship was fair to poor here. Then there is the issue of the rotted wood and gutter repair. The son never got back to me for that job, and I gave up after many calls to the company and getting only the secretary saying he would call me back. I ended up repairing the wood myself, which I was hoping to avoid. I am sad to report I will no longer use this company in the future. I

The work provided was excellent and we felt the price was very good as well. Raleigh Roofing was prompt, even came out the same day for estimate, we would use them again, defintely!!!

They called and asked if they could show up on a Saturday morning, and they arrived just as scheduled. They got to work immediately and was done after about 4 to 5 hours. They explained to me what had been done and what they had found to be done incorrectly at the time the house was built. They also cleaned up everything around the house and were good guys to talk to too, great sense of humor as we talked about other non-work related subjects. They took their time and did things right, would definitely hire again if needed.

They were on time, did a good job with clean up and went above and beyond my expectations on the roof.

The roofing over one side of my front porch was rotten and had been covered over for years before I bought the house. Started leaking soon after I moved in. Had estimates to cover over for somewhat less and to do the whole deal for $1600. Raleigh did a great job for a great price.

Work was done as advertised. Later some roof leaks re-appeared, and Mr. Hamm promptly returned, in fact, several times until all leaks were fixed. Was very professional and courteous, no problems whatsoever with this company.

We had some cracks in the roof. That's why we had done the roofing work. The people who had come for the roofing work were very polite and professional. They've mended my roof well.

They were very thorough in examining and replacing the broken shingles on my roof. They used good quality material to do their job.

We are staying here for almost three years. There was some damage in the roof, broken shingles and exposed felts, etc. So we had to replace the damaged roofing. This company was recommended by a friend of mine. I feel they really did a good job. I, too, would recommend them to others.

They really did a great job on our old roof with the new stuff. There wasn t much of a mess to clean up and they were very professional and polite. They hardly ever took a break and I thought they completed the job in record time and it really looked great.

They did their job very nicely and quickly. I liked this company. The people who had come to our house to do the roofing work involving a few damaged shingles were courteous professionals.

They fixed the roofing, a few shingles, underlying rafters etc. They also put some additional protection on the roof for the rains. They've done some good work for us.
