The technician was very knowledgeable and cleaned, caulked and repaired the shower. He went above and beyond to resolve issued found and I am very happy with the end result. The shower floor looks like it is brand new. I would definitely recommend using this company.

It went very well. Mr. Johnsey repaired the grout and redid the entire tub and shower area. He recaulked the tub and shower area, as well. It looks brand new! We would recommend this company to anyone.

Excellent service and work. His prices were very reasonable. When he discovered unexpected damage, he went right down to the hardware store to get needed supplies and didn't rake me over the coals for it! The bathroom tile looks brand new and the cost was just a fraction of a real redo.

Rick Johnsey came to the house on 8/26 to look at our problem. We had several cracks in our tile floor in the shower and water would occasionally leak into the ceiling of a utility room in the garage. Rick diagnosed the problem and found weaknesses in our floor indicating erosion in our mortar bed, under the tile. Rick gave me 2 quotes. The first was for the removal of the old tile, repairing of spots of mortar, and the installation of a new tile floor. He also provided an additional quote if the mortar bed required complete replacement. We agreed to Rick's estimate which, by the way, included a very generous discount for Angie's List members, and set a date for repair. Rick arrived on the first repair date (August 29) and in the time frame quoted. When he removed the old tile he determined that he could patch the existing mortar bed and it would not need to be replaced. He also found that there was enough moisture under the tiles that he could not get the new tile to adhere and we agreed to "air out" the mortar over the weekend with his high powered fan and he would return on Tuesday (9/2) to complete the work. He returned on 9/2 and the floor was indeed dried out. He repaired the mortar holes; installed the new tile (after getting both my okay and my wife's okay on the pattern he was suggesting).; and cleaned everything. He took the time to tell us how long to wait until we used the shower and how to care for it in the future. I have just used the shower for the first time since the grout has cured and there are no leaks at all. I also noticed how quickly the floor drained and dried. Rick was also very good at answering questions about his work and any general questions I had about plumbing and repairing in general. Most importantly, he assured us that if we had any problems with his work we could call him immediately and he would resolve the problem. I wish I had contacted Midsouth Grout Solutions more than a year ago. I would have less ceiling damage to contend with. I am very happy with Rick's work and he was a pleasure to deal with. UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE I am late in providing this update because we were out of town. However, I wanted to mention that about a week after Rick completed our work, we noticed that some of the grout was becoming discolored and it really didn't look very good. We notified Rick (I believe that it was the weekend of 9/6) and he contacted us on the first business day of the following week. I explained our concern and Rick came back to the house to look at the grout. He immediately took ownership of the issue and felt that he had perhaps had some bad grout (it was tinted). He offered to remove the grout and re-grout at no cost. My concern was that the new tinted grout would also have problems. Rick said he would discard the previous grout and start with a new package. He also offered to remove the new tinted grout and replace it with white if the new grout had the same issue, all at his own expense. Thankfully, the new tinted grout worked great and we were able to keep the tint, since white would not have looked good with our tile color. I really appreciate how quickly Rick responded to our issue, plus the fact that he took immediate ownership of the problem. His concern was that we (especially my wife) were happy with the new floor. This is just one example of great customer service!

It looks nice. Technician also took time to explain how to care for it in future. The only thing I would want done differently is that some excess grout was left on edge of tile strip. I can probably remove it myself but wish technician had attended to this.

Did an excellent job. Shower looks great and he cleaned the floors and it made a huge difference. Should of done this a long time ago. $900 for two showers regrouted and two bathroom floors cleaned.

Extremely pleased with overall experience. I was called back promptly. The estimate and then start date were decided. Rick was very professional and organized. He is very knowledgeable concerning his work and takes pride in the project. We would hire him again to work in our home.

Rick returned my call within the day. He came promptly for an estimate. It did take 2 weeks to get the appointment for the actual service. When he cleaned and sealed my grout, he educated me on how to care for it in the future, and how to seal it myself, if I chose to. He was very thorough. I will tell my friends to use his service.

He was very prompt. When he did his work he asked us to call him back and when we called him back, he showed up right away and on time. He was very punctual and very courteous. He cleaned everything and finished it in the time he said he would. The price was reasonable.

I tried contacting this company three times and they never called me back. The first time I called the phone number on Angie's list and a guy answered and said he was really busy and he would call me back which he did not. Then I sent two email requests for estimates from their web site and have gotten no response. Very unprofessional!!

Called for an appoinment - received an estimate - arranged for an appointment to have the work done - when work was complete paid for the service and my coupon was accepted without question - called a few weeks later and he returned (as he offered to do on the day the project was completed) and did some finishing cleanup and explained what was going on behind the tile that resulted in some bleed through. I have dried my shower every time I use it, and am pleased with the results.

The job went very well. I called and Rick called me back and set up an appointment that agreed with my schedule. He arrived on the day and time he said he would. He gave me an estimate and returned in the agreed upon time and spent 3-4 hours putting a product on the shower floor tile to make the grout look white again. It looked good but after 14 days it began to peel off. I called Rick he returned and we decided we would have to try to regrout the tile. Rick gave me a good price and again he showed up and got the job done. We followed his instructions not to use the shower for 3 days and now everything is fine.

We have ceramic floor tile in our kitchen and family room. The grout needed some work so we called a handyman who assured us he could fix it. Well, he absolutely ruined our floor. I did not know what to do. It was only a year old, so replacing it was not an option. We saw Midsouth Grout Solutions on this website and the reviews were good. We called Rick who came over within 2 days, gave us a reasonable estimate and scheduled the job. He showed up on time, completed the job in one day as promised and the floor is BEAUTIFUL. Looks new! He was professional and courteous and I would highly recommend him for any grout repairs.

Rick Johnsey was called to do the above mentioned work on both my home and my parent's home next door. He arrived on time to start my parent's home. Took him approximately 3 hours to do the job. Came over to my home and took around 3 hours to do the job as well. He notified me to not to use the shower for a few days. He said if anything looked wrong, to call him. Well, several days later I noticed the grout coming up in several places. I called him and he came out on time. The reason why the grout came up is because he mixed one big batch to do both homes, but by the time he got over to my shower the grout was not optimal. So, he re-grouted again. The job is fine. The grout looks great and the caulking is nice. Thought that $300 was steep for the work performed, especially since my parents were part of the deal as well. Keep in mind, the shower doors, soap dish, walls, etc. were not cleaned. I had to do all that myself. Also, he did not accept credit cards. Plus it was inconvenient to have him come out again for something that should have been done right the first time. The main reason I would use him in the future is because he shows up on time and responds to calls.
