Deceptive business practices. We had an agreement with Summit Landscape for irrigation. "Chris", the owner, met with us and brought his "job supervisor" (Andy) to walk the yard. Confirmed they would call 811 to locate the lines, and then get started. They did call in locates, and then started before the locates were completed. Within an hour of starting the work, the 2-man crew had cut my internet and satellite lines. After all work was completed, we got the final bill. No surprise to us they had exercised the "rock clause", which is their right to reassess labor charges based on rock issues they encounter. I'm not saying there were or were not excessive amounts of rock, but I did not see them haul any off. The job took nearly two full weeks to complete (front and sides only, no back yard). If the rocks were so bad, I do not understand why they took a person off our job for nearly two full days. See photos and judge for yourself, if you feel this is "excessive". If you feel it is not, then you will be surprised when you get your final bill. When we got our final bill, it was an invoice from Andy (Chris's "job supervisor") at Turf Pro. When we challenged, the final charges (due to the expenses and inconvenience of the line cuts), Chris deferred to Andy, and Andy would not reduce the rock clause. They did make us whole on the expenses. We sent a response to Chris expressing our disappointment. Chris did respond and apologized, stating that he was too busy and had given the work to Andy to try and get it done quicker. Our agreement was with Summit, not Turf Pro. We do like the Rain Bird system that was installed, but there is no way I would ever recommend either Turf Pro or Summit. Find a Rain Bird dealer that is not one of these two companies.
