Description of Work: David was very nice. Due to weather, we had a challenge getting together for my estimate. Once he arrived for the estimate, I found him very knowledgeable and professional. However, due to his high price, I opted for another provider with a better price.

+ 1 moreDavid Mansfield did an excellent job constructing and installing our Pavilion. He was very "detailed" oriented, which made the difference in a final quality product! He is very professional and reviews all aspects of the job with the client. I highly recommend using Mansfield Woodworks if you are in the market for a porch or pavilion.

+ -1 moreEstimate was very fair considering size of porch,and materials needed. He began within 2 weeks of consultation and it was completed in one week - had two rain days....There were many wood finishing touches that were aesthetically pleasing that I hadn't counted on but liked. He was very clean and tidied up. I left the door open so he could use refrigerator and bathroom as needed. That is something I almost never do. I changed my mind about something mid-stream, and Dave was very amenable to the change that I had requested. Porch was completed and is gorgeous. It came out even better than I had imagined. One thing that was tough was that the floor is quite unlevel, but everything has the appearance of looking level. I would absolutely use Dave Mansfield again. We have planned some additional work for the spring. I highly recommend his work, efficiency, ideas, thoughts in scoping out the project and integrity.
Description of Work: I had a rather large screened in porch that was not a quality build when I purchased the home. The workmanship was poor to lousy with a wood design that was up to almost 4 feet high. Dave Mansfield demo'd the original porch, removed screen and existing wooden features that looked like a crib design, leaving the original wood poles. Nothing needed to be done to the tiled floor or the ceiling that had 2 ceiling fans. My dog and cat had billowed out one section of screen due to the pressure of lying against it. I requested a 24" tall wainscoting, (beadboard) so that the animals couldn't push against screen and then have it painted and rescreened.
