Hi Justin, I want to personally thank you for the above and beyond service you and your father gave me today. You are a man of your word that has gone well beyond the service level I was expecting of you and your company. I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of work you executed. If only all contractors were as easy and friendly to do business with, we would all be better off If there is anything I can do for you in the future, please let me know. I will be glad to refer you to anyone who needs a recommendation for the quality and professional work you exhibited. Thank again! Sincerely, Jared

Very well. Very professionally done. Can see the attention to detail at properly sealing things off. Even did nice masonry work when the installed the new crawlspace door. Done on time. No change in price from the original quote.
Description of Work: Crawlspace encapsulation. I was having a musty smell coming up from my crawlspace into my living space. This is a 1995 built home designed with the dirt floor crawlspace, very basic vapor barrier, and the few static foundation vents intended to ventilate. I had a couple of other unrelated issues I was trying to understand, so I hired an independent home inspector (Diligent Home Inspectors). That inspector suggested a crawlspace encapsulation (I had already reached that conclusion based on internet research) and suggest only one of two companies based on their experience - Crawlspace Doctors or E3 Innovate. I called them both out for a quote along with All-Dry. Crawlspace Doctors do only crawlspaces. E3 is a total home efficiency company - TVA energy assessments. etc. Both were extremely professional and diagnosed effectively the same solution (as did Diligent) - needed crawlspace encapsulation, but no major signs of water intrusion, no drainage or sump pump needed, no dehumidifier needed, proper conditioning could occur with the installation of a simple bleeder vent off my main line. All-Dry tried to sell me the whole solution right off the front-end including the full French drain system, sump, and some sort of expensive glorified exhaust fan, etc. - $$$$$$. Quotes: Crawlspace Dr = $5600 E3 - But going with some high end spray in foam = $10K+ All-Dry = $13K+ I chose to go with Crawlspace Doctors, but not just for the price. Justin was very professional in his inspection and review. I got the feeling on the front end that he was honest and only trying to sell me what I needed. Was also getting good reviews on this sight and with the BBB. I chose E3 for another project.

Justin was as professional as it gets. His crew was responsive, and informed me of everything that was happening every step of the way. His price was great and he charged no deposit, instead waiting until the end to collect the bill which is refreshing since Ive dealt with many contractors who take your deposit then falter during the installation. His explanation of what he was going to do was top notch as well as his suggestions of what needed to be done vs. what did not need to be done. The other companies I contacted only wanted to sell me the top of the line, all frills system, while Justin only wanted to sell me what I needed. All in all, a great company and great person to deal with.

Crawlspace Doctor was one of 3 estimates we received. Justin arrived promptly, did a thorough review of our crawl space and provided a detailed recommendation with options. He was very honest about what was really needed vs. a "nice to have". My husband and I really liked his approach/style and immediately trusted him. The price was the lowest of the 3 for exactly the same thing. Once they started the work (about 3 weeks after we decided to proceed) things went as expected (but ran a couple days longer than originally thought). All in all, it was about 8 days. I was kept in the loop through out and they did not charge us any additional for extra time or surprises. The person doing the work, Daniel, worked hard and showed a lot of pride in the work he did. (When he was finished he couldn't wait to show it off!) It looks great and now we have some extra climate controlled storage space and won't worry about our hardwood floors cupping. The company offers a 20 year warranty, so they stand behind the work. All in all, this was a positive experience and I am so glad we selected this company. I can't imagine spending up to double the price for another company to do the same thing.
Description of Work: Encapsulated approx 2700 sqft crawl space to improve humidity and energy efficiency in home. We added one dehumidifier, although they said it was not necessary. We just felt better.

Crawlspace Doctor accurately assessed our Crawlspace issues and gave us a complete solution to our problems. The dampness in the crawlspace had been causing our existing hardwood floors to cup. The crawlspace also smelled musty. Crawlspace doctor removed the cellulose insulation from the crawlspace walls, installed a thick plastic vapor barrier from top to bottom, sealed the existing vents (which were just letting in humid air) and then installed an HVAC air register to condition the crawl space air. Crawlspace doctor also regraded the soil near the back of our home and installed a downspout extension to route rain water away from the home. We believe all the work was done well, at a fair price, and with a good warranty - giving us peace of mind to move forward with the installation of our new flooring.

Outstanding - I love my new cut. I had used Krista years ago, lost track of her and am delighted to be back.
