I am very impressed with the work performed by Brauss Lawn Service. From the first call, when I scheduled my estimate to the end of the project - I could not be happier with the service. With so many other things going on this spring, I was not able to perform spring cleanup. The mess in my front yard got to be more than I could handle with the tools and time I have available. Aside from that, I had been cutting back an inappropriately placed tree each year and decided it was time for it to go. Considering the amount of work, I called Mr. Brauss to assist me in forming a plan to finish the project within my current budget. They arrived this morning, exactly as planned and we almost postponed it due to light rain. As things worked out, the rain stopped and work was able to begin. While we had planned for up to 6 hours of work, it ended up only taking 3 hours. After I saw how good it looked in the front of my house, I asked about a Holly bush on the side of the house. As we had some time left on the budgeted time, they cut it back too! There is one tree in my back yard and I have it topped once a year. As soon as fall arrives, I will be calling Brauss Lawn Service to have the work completed on it as well. They certainly have my recommendation.

I used a special deal for Brauss Lawn Services to mow ans trim the grass at our new home for $35. The grass was getting tall and they mowed the grass twice in 3 days to get it looking good. They did not charge for the 2nd cutting. Since then they have been mowing every week for $35. They do a good job on the yard and always do well in scheduling the mowing around the weather. We are more then happy with their service.

Great to deal with. I purchased a three cutting package. They contacted me soon after and we agreed on a schedule.They were excellent to work with and scheduled to suit my needs. They called to confirm what day they would be there and go over any questions I had. When the crew showed up, the went immediately to work. The worked efficiently and did an outstanding job. Once they'd completed the three mowings, I decided to have them continue doing my lawn work. I have been very happy with the results.

Their work is amazing and they offered a lot of information to two novice homeowners who have never had to deal with lawn maintenance up until this point. They recommended watering timers and sprinklers, counseled us on frequency and length of watering cycle and keep us apprised on how the lawn is doing. They are happy to move the sprinklers and replace them after they ow so we don't have to worry about rolling up hoses and putting them back out. Our lawn is gorgeous and we do have envious neighbors!

It was terrible. Never got the work nor my money returned after they said they would.

From the very start, Kevin was very professional and prompt in his service. We asked him to come out for an estimate and with help figuring out how to design the landscaping for the front of the house. He listened to our ideas and made adjustments where needed. Within 5 days, we received an estimate by e-mail. I contacted him to get things set up and he and his crew were here within a week to get the job done. They did a fantastic job! Everything was done the same day and they cleaned up everything before they left. Not only did they meet my expectations, they exceeded them!!! We will definitely be contacting them again when we have the backyard done. If you want professional service, Brauss is the way to go!!

Both Brian & Kevin were great. They contacted me immediately to set a time to have them visit. Due to the inclement weather we were experiencing, we had to postpone a couple of times, but finally set a date and they arrived right on time. We walked the yard & they listened to my wish list and made suggestions. We ended the meeting with them agreeing to provide me 2 quotes, one for regular maintenance & one for special projects. I received both within the week and accepted the regular maintenance so am now on their schedule & they are doing a terrific job. The quote is still in wait & see mode. Even though it appeared to be very reasonable, I have to make a decision on prioritizing the work to fit my budget. I highly recommend this company.

They were wonderful, quick to respond and reasonably priced!

They seemed to do a good job. They were fast but they were very good. They did all the trimming well. Price was competitive and not cheap. They were very responsive and they were very predictable when they were going to show up. I would use them again in the spring.

Brian was great and very responsive. I've hired him to continue on with my lawn care needs in the future. He's prompt when responding to emails and very courteous and professional. His work is always top notch and my yard looks great.

Very well run outfit; communicated well and often. Very fair price for work done. Mowed all of lawn (with steep hills), all edge trimming, left no clipping on the lawn or street. I would definitely recommend.

As planned and with no disappointments.

The initial communication was pretty easy but the guys showed up early and i was at work. I had scheduled a specific time becuase of my work schedule and when noone showed up i had to call the next day to find out why. I never recieved a call asking if i was hope which didnt sit very well with me. When i called, the person on the phone was pretty rude and acted like it was my fault i was home hours prior to my scheduled time. When the guys finally came they to were rude and didn't even let me know they were done. Guess i need to find a 3rd yard company.

Everything went real good. Yard looks great. Will also use Brauss for some landscaping.

I scheduled for the earliest time available, they arrived at my house a few hours after I purchased services from Angie's List. They did a great job, it was quick, easy, and inexpensive.

I called Brauss lawn service this spring after I was unable to get a response from my lawn service from last year. Brian returned my call quickly and came out to give an estimate within 1-2 days. He was very nice and professional. My lawn always looks beautiful, and they come out promptly every week. At the first mowing, there were some grass clippings left behind and once I requested that they be removed, I have never since seen a grass clipping!

Brauss has been mowing my lawn since I moved to this home last summer. They are reliable, professional, and they do a great job at a reasonable price. Best of all, they're really nice guys.

We just recently moved here and had sold our old lawn mower before moving from IL, so instead of hurrying up and purchasing a new lawnmower we decided to call a service. I found Brauss Lawn Service here on Angies List. I decided to call them based on the fact they were family owned and both reviews they had were excellent along with one stating they had called others only to find higher costs. I called and left a message about 2pm on Monday September 16, and I received a call back promptly this morning September 17. Mr. Brauss came out within 45 minutes of speaking to him on the phone. After giving me a quote of a great price, he offered to do the first mowing etc. today. I was very pleased with his work, his professionalism, upbeat personality and punctuality. I use Brauss for my general lawncare and they are always on time and very reasonable priced. I got three estimates before selecting them to do this project. They are very honest. We reviewed an estimate and worked to get to a number I was comfortable with. The project went very well and would have been on time had the electrician showed up when he was supposed to. The whole Brauss family worked on the project and spent a lot of time just working on the perfect rock placement. We have had some issue with the top-off system and maintaining the water level, but I send an email at night and they are here the next morning to work on it. Top notch all around.

We have been looking for about a week for someone to mow our lawn. It was weeks overdue for its first mow of the season. My wife had broke her ankle and I injured my back so we could not mow it. We were driving through the adjacent neighborhood and saw these guys working on a lawn. We asked them if they could mow our lawn as well. They took our address and said they would fit it in that day or the next. They stopped by our house several hours later and quoted us $35 for the first time since we had such high growth as they would have to mow areas twice. After that they said it would be $25. They quickly mowed the entire yard, edged the driveway, porches, and flowerbeds, and trimmed the entire yard. Before they left they cleaned up completely including blowing all the grass off the drive, street, and porches, and even raked up the piles of cut grass from the overgrown area. We've already asked them to come back in a few weeks.
