It turned out great. He did a great job. I was impressed with how it was in the winter. In spring time, I had more grass than I've ever had before. That's the reason I asked them back. I was delighted with what he did. Price was fine. I'm totally happy with what he did and what we paid. I would have him back again next year.

I hired Brauss to redesign the landscaping in my front yard. I was very excited to work with them, as the plans they drew up seemed to be great. I know nothing about plants/tree/shrubs and needed someone I could trust to make the front of my home beautiful. With a budget of $6000, I was expecting to love the end result. Sadly, I was unhappy with about 75% of it. Shame on me for not obtaining anything more than an overhead sketch of what the layout would be. Had I been presented with a full-color, front view of the design, I would've changed so much. While some may be personal preference, I believe that much of the problem was simply poor design. I thought they were experts, but it's evident they are not. Plants were not spaced out well (some areas very cluttered, others empty), visually it's not interesting (variety of colors/textures, levels, etc.), thought wasn't given to appearance in winter months, and overall it has a far more "garden" feel that's more suitable for a backyard. A friend actually asked me if I did it myself! A friend that knows my lack of yard skills. I was in tears over the end result. Brauss worked with me a bit to try and remedy, but the problem was bigger than just adding a couple things and moving things around. It still looks awful and some of the plants died (after daily watering daily for months). It's been over 6 months since work was completed and I still think about how much I don't like the end result nearly every day when leaving/returning home. In addition to the poor overall work, the level of communication from Brian and Kevin was terrible. Nearly every time I sent an email, I'd have to send a follow up (or several!) to ask for a reply. That's just terrible customer service.

Everything completed as we had hoped but in a faster than expected time! Highly recommended for accuracy & cleanliness.

They were prompt and courteous, responded quickly to my email and txt, showed promptly to do the job They adjusted their height of their mower to fit our needs as we prefer our lawn to be cut short. The job itself was ok but not to the level of detail we prefer.

Called on Monday; got service on Tuesday. We have contacted 4 other lawn services who couldn't be bothered to return a call or answer an email, much less come out. They will be our lawn care service as long as they take care of Hermitage or we win the lottery and move to a giant dog-friendly penthouse, whichever comes first!

They were very responsive in scheduling and communicating delays. Showed up in the morning and got to work and they were in and out in a few hours. I had a few questions about my lawn as well and was given very insightful information. They even trimmed the weeds down free of charge. I'll probably be using them again for other large projects in the future.

We were desperate and these guys did above and beyond for us! We need major landscaping down to our front and back yard. I believe how great our backyard looks now. They came back several times to check on our sod to make sure everything was going well. I couldn't be happy with the results. This truly was an investment!

Very quick in responses from my email. Arrived that day to give me a quote about mowing my yard for a short amount of time. Came and mowed the yard that day. Very easy to work with and knowledgeable about landscaping maintenance.

I called Kevin Brauss in late April and asked if he would be able to come out to my house to give me an estimate on some work that I needed done (pulling weeds, trimming shrubs, and laying down mulch). I stated I was calling early to get on his schedule because I needed the work done by mid-June. Kevin said he'd call me one evening to set up a time to meet with me to find out exactly what I wanted done and where. I didn't hear back from him for a month, so I followed up on June 1. His son, Brian, answered the phone and said his dad would call me right back. Since I didn't hear back, I called again the next day. Brian again answered the phone and said his dad would call me right back, which he did. I spoke with Kevin, who didn't seem to recall talking to me back in April, so I obviously wasn't on his client follow-up list. I again explained what I needed done, and he said he could be out to my house after 6:00 that evening, which worked great for me. I was home after 5:00, but Kevin never showed. And he never called. He never even bothered to call me today. Fortunately, I hired someone else and am looking forward to getting my yard done. I appreciate the fact that companies are busy, and I'm happy that people have work to do, but not following through and doing what you say you're going to do is completely unacceptable customer service.

My concern was the areas with no visible aeration holes in lawn. don't think i needed to be home at the time the service performed to make this comment. Regards GW Davis 10/31/15

They were great. They stayed true to the big deal price of $189. I'm just not sure they got grass the way that I wanted them to. They just should have called before they showed up.

they contacted me when they would be in the area told me that I didn't;t need to be there and it was done. The true test will be next year on the over seeding. I have used these guys before and they are always very good.

Came home to a perfectly cut lawn. These guys are prompt and professional. Will be using them again and would definitely recommend them.

I underestimated the amount of mulch needed for my landscape project but they returned the next day and completed the work. I would use them in for future projects. Very helpful and did good work for me.

I've used this company several times. I scheduled regular mowing and trimming and paid additional for the trimming of shrubs. I've had to call them to come as was lawn had over grown a couple of times. I tipped the provider hoping they would stay on top of my lawn but................we've hit a bump in the road.

Brauss Lawn Service immediately contacted me as soon as I purchased their Big Deal for Basic Lawn Service up to 1/2 an acre, and I provided them my upcoming days-off so I could personally meet the crew. Within less than a week, we were able to schedule the job during one of my preferred days, and I briefly met Brian and Gregorio on my way out. Upon my return, I was quite impressed by their services: mowing and edging my front and side lawns, gathering brush and fallen branches, and blowing and cleaning my driveway. I am surely considering them again, perhaps on a monthly basis, as well as some landscaping here and there. Two thumbs and two big toes up y'all!

The group that used to cut my yard left me without any notice and with all the rain we had around the 4th of July, my yard was way over grown. When I realized I needed to find a new mowing company, I contacted Brauss and they came out that week. When Brauss arrived to cut the lawn I mentioned that since the grass was so high, I would rake it after they were done. I have a half acre and from experience it takes me about 5 hours to rake and bag the grass clippings. The Brauss crew was kind enough to blow all the grass clippings into a manageable area on each side of my house which was great as it only took me about 2 hours to rake everything up. The crew was very professional and did an excellent job of trimming and blowing off the sidewalk and driveway. I will be using them going forward.
