Aaron's Garage Doors

Based on my experience I'm surprised to see the number of positive ratings Aaron Moore has on Angie's List. Aaron is a very nice gentleman, but seems to be scattered in his business dealings. I had an issue with one of my garage doors. I found Aaron on Angie's List and called he on 09/25/13. Aaron came out the next afternoon to service the doors and determine the issue with the one of them. After about 15 minutes he let me know the problem was minimal and he would return on Monday, Sept 30th, to complete the job. I never heard from Aaron again until I called him on Monday morning, Oct 7th. He admitted he had forgotten me, but would call me back that afternoon with an update on the part. Aaron did not call back. I finally called him on Wednesday, Oct 9th, and inquired on the status of the part. Aaron said he had the part, but was too busy to make it by my house that day. We agreed he would be onsite at 9:00am on Thursday, Oct 10th. Aaron did not show at 9:00am on Oct 10th. I called him at 9:40am and he said he was in route and would be here within 15 minutes. Aaron arrived at 10:05am and quickly determined what he thought was the issue was not the issue. He sprayed some garage door lubricant on the unit and said I could replace the garage door system if the noise bothered me or continue to use until the system no longer worked. I opted to keep the system with the noise until it no longer worked. As previously stated Aaron is very nice; however, I will not use him again based on this experience. I found working with him to be a frustrating experience.

It wasn't excellent but he did a good job. I didn't call him right away but when I called him, he scheduled it within a week.

He first contacted me to get specifics on the type of garage door that needed repair, gave me an approx. time on when to expect him. When he arrived he had the correct parts he needed to perform the repair. Had problem corrected within 30 minutes. Would definitely use again.

I had a little trouble getting someone out to look at our doors initially, after talking to Aaron the first time I think he lost my number and I had to call him back. Luckily I persisted and the technician that I met at our house was very friendly and knowledgeable. When I explained that we were selling our house, he located the parts to repair one of our older openers with a supplier but suggested a new opener for one of the other old units. I felt very comfortable with his suggestions and he came back the next day and did the work as promised. No hard sell, no BS, just a good experience.

One of the two torsion springs on our large, heavy wooden garage door broke this morning...after which we were unable to open the door. I called Aaron based on his AngiesList recommendations; he came out this afternoon (same day), and had it fixed in no time. I replaced them, myself, last time, so I know what a hassle it can be, including hunting down the right springs and getting the tension just right; and even how dangerous it can be as the tension is being applied...I had no desire to repeat that experience. Aaron was totally pro, pleasant to work with, sharp, and seemed to enjoy his work. ....oh, forgot to mention, he even gave me some good free advice about an electrical problem I was having...which is now solved. :-) We'll confidently recommend him. Aaron was wonderful! He was in the area when I contacted him and came right over. He installed my garage door keypad right then as well as lubricating and adjusting the doors because they were noisy and off kilter a bit. He also gave me an estimate for insulated garage doors that will be installed in the future. I will definitely use him for the new install and recommend him to everyone that needs garage doors or service!

It was good. The guy was really nice. They came out and I only needed a battery. It was really nice. I was happy with them.

Aaron came out the same day as called and promply fixed the problem.

I purchased the big deal from Angie's List. They didn't quite solve the problem. They didn't even call me about that to fix it. When I called to let them know, they said I have to call the garage manufacturer because there was something that they couldn't fix. I'm not too happy with that service although the guy seemed to be a very nice guy.

Aaron was friendly and pleasant to speak with. Unfortunately, I had to follow up after the initial call to receive a quote. Once the quote was received we agreed on a date to perform the installation. The installation date and time came around and no one showed to perform the work. We called Aaron and he stated that he had forgotten to put it on the schedule. He made a phone call and called us back shortly and was able to get a technician out to install the door that day. The installation went very well and we are happy with the door and its operation. I believe we received a good price for the work performed and the quality of the products. The final product made up for the scheduling errors.

I called Aaron on a Saturday morning hoping I could get an appointment with him to come and repair the door for the following week. I got a recording and didn't expect him to return my call on the weekend. within 30 minutes he returned my call and said he could come out and fix the door within the next hour and a half. That was great unexpected news since I absolutely did not expect such a quick response. Aaron arrived just as he said he would and fix the door without any problems. Great service!

My experience with them was positive. They showed up quickly and got the work done. They are very easy to deal with. I would definitely recommend them. We called them up and they showed up the same day. It went smoothly. They had to come back to replace a part. They showed up when they said they would. It was pretty much everything went as expected.

Went very well. Aaron is always very professional and you can count on the date and time he gives you for service.

Aaron was great! Scheduling was easy and he was right on time. He installed the keyless entry and the tune up has the door going up and down very smoothly. I very highly recommend Aaron and will call him again if I need anything in the future related to the garage door.

That turned out good. There were no additional charges. They were very courteous and very professional and everything was done the way it was promised.

The technician came out and was very nice and honest from the get go. My 40 year old garage doors are just waiting to go, I had called for a tune up to extend their life. I was informed how little could be done for the style of flip up doors and that parts are no longer made. He was good to talk me through all the existing issues and did not pressure me to buy new doors now. I will definitely use them when my garage doors do bite the dust.

Aaron came out a day after I called and replaced the panels on one garage door to match the other door. The work was done the next day. Great job all around.

He worked on it but it still makes a lot of noise but he said it is as good as he can make it.

These guys did a great job. For the last 2 years the doors have been very loud and squeeky whenever opened. I had backed into one of the garage doors, so it was also slightly bent. Without replacing the door, they made it run smoothly and now both doors are very quite when they open and shut. I was surprised at how much of a difference their work has made.

It turned out fine. They were pretty punctual and they did a nice job. They were very pleasant.

The service that he provided me was fine except that he did upon himself to put a sticker on my wall and he left smear marks on my wall but other than that it was fine. He did cam after I purchased the “Big Deal” and he did what he was suppose to do. I probably wouldn't recommend against him but I don’t know that I go out my way to go hang up as member to call somebody and tell him.

Great, from start to finish. They arrived when promised and since the job was not a common one, it took most of the day to complete. Very please with the service!

Friday afternoon 5:00 p.m. the spring on the garage door breaks and we can't get either car out of the garage. The company that installed our door was closed for the weekend. I checked Angie's List and found this company, called and he had someone out in 30 minutes. He was professional and didn't seem to mind having to come out so late on a Friday.
