The Silver Bear Co. is a family owned business in northeast TN. Originally called Arel Computer, which was opened in the northeast part of the country in 1985. In its early days, the company marketed its own line of diskettes, computer systems, and cable assemblies Today the revamped Silver Bear Company’s primary focus is computer service and sales. We will market the Arel brand of “made to order computers” later in the early fall. With the acquisition of our new location in Church Hill, TN, we expect great growth. We offer a wide selection of pre-owned computers and accessories. All computers come with our warrantee and Silver Bear’s Guarantee, “ that everyone leaves smiling” Our service shop has trained technicians who are proud of the company and take a personal interest in every repair or update. Our quality checklist assures that we return a premier product. Our mission is simple, to provide quality work at discount prices. I was quite pleased and pleasantly surprised by the competence and professionalism of Mr. Lerio. Normally I just scrap inoperable computers. Mr. Lerio enabled good stewardship. Excellent service: FIVE STARS.
Description of Work: My 3 year old Dell computer would not power up. I called Mr. Lerio. He came to my house the next day to troubleshoot it. There was no charge for on site troubleshooting and estimate. The CPU was kaput. Mr. Lerio suggested that instead of scrapping the computer, that I let him swap out the serviceable parts of my computer which he would install in a used Dell. The charge was $189.95 plus tax. He also replaced both of my optical drives with better/serviceable ones at no cost. He also offered advice on how to optimize my system.
