 + -1 moreI think everybody dreads having to deal with their septic tank issues, so we were blessed to find someone who made the whole situation a lot easier; Richard was very compassionate and professional in our time of emergency. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, I would recommend Rainbow Septic in a heartbeat!
Description of Work: We had an emergency when we our family was in town, me being 5 months pregnant, it was stressful to see our toilets overflowing and the bathtubs filling up, so in tears I called several plumbers until I found Richard's number for Rainbow Septic. He called me back to let me know he would come look at our septic tank, which ended up being the issue anyway, so it was best that I got in touch with him. He came by as early as possible, despite his truck being in the shop, and unblocked our septic line so that I could actuallly use the toilets! He then came back the following day and pumped out our tank so that we wouldn't have any more problems.

Description of Work: We had not had our septic tank pumped in 23 years and with no warning had sewage backing up into our bathtubs and toilets. Since this was a Sunday, we called and were able to schedule an appointment for the next morning. The cost to empty the septic tank was $360 and the additional cost came from our request to have an easy access lid installed for future visits. These two men were very professional, seemed honest and helpful, answering our 50+ questions. I highly recommend Rainbow Septic Service! New owners and great people.

Description of Work: Mike arrived on time, got right to work, found tank lid, opened it, cleaned it out, gone in about two hours. Septic was far older than the house but not an obstacle. Fine job and highly recommend. Was also used by my neighbor with similar results.

 + -1 moreI called him, and he never made an appointment or came out, he just quoted me $600 over the phone. He tied up the process because rural development called him and cancelled the estimate. When they backed out, I ended up having to get another company. The other company came out and gave me an honest estimate and quoted me $3000, so Rainbow messed up the amount of money that I was able ot get from Rural Development. I would not recommend them to anybody. They aren't reliable, didn't make an appointment or show up and they messed up my whole procedure.

 + -1 moreMike came out and dug up the opening for the septic, pumped it, and then buried it back. They were very punctual and you couldn't even tell they had dug in the yard. We had to reschedule once because of rain - I appreciated that he didn't want to make a mess of our yard. He spent time with my husband discussing the septic tank and care of it. Highly recommend!
