David came on time. Had to wait 4 hours before walking on floor but I was at work and my husband was upstairs so not aproblem. It was not what I expected, though. I though the floors would actually be refinished. There were several spots that were missed and also some spots where something was on the floor and just got sealed over, such as a piece of cat food, which was sealed and I could not get it up. I called David about these issues on June 3 and he said he would come on Jun 5 and fix these unfinished spots and get the piece of cat food up. He did not come that day and did not call. He actually came this week on June 12 and did those spots. It looks pretty good. I realize the ad said "resurfacing" so guess there is a difference in resurfacing and refinishing, so not what I expected. But I would use him again if we needed to have any more work done on the floors. And David was very nice when I talked to him on the phone. He always answered the phone and I never had to leave a message.

Overall the floor restoration from start to finish went very well, and we are very happy with the finished job, however there were some bumps along the way. Positives: 1. The price owner David Harris quoted us at the beginning of the project never changed. Very happy with our return of investment. 2. The owner and the gentlemen who did the job for him were very professional at all times, and got the job started and completed as promised and on time. 3. Our original hardwood floor had developed some bumpy spots (over time), and after the restoration was completed, the floor looked brand new. 4. Quality and workmanship was excellent, and we were very pleased with the hardwood floor. Negatives: 1. Although the job was completed on time, it seemed like there was a rush factor at the end. They had to remove a couple of floor slats during the job, which were never put back. 2. There were a few corners where the floor was over stained and although that was fixed a few months down the road, it definitely took away from the overall quality of the job. 3. It took several phone calls to schedule someone to come and redo the over stained areas.

We had a bought a "big deal" -- $250 worth of floor resurfacing for $150. As it turns out, our den floor was too far gone for a light resurfacing. It needed a full refinishing, which is a much more involved process. To accommodate our schedule, Fabulous Floors arranged to work over the weekend, scheduling the job for a Saturday-Sunday. There was a full day of sanding on Saturday, creating lots of dust that seeped into the adjacent rooms -- over every lamp and even on the walls.We had hoped the dust would be minimized by the plastic sheeting that they hung. But this turned out to be a major cleanup. We had our regular cleaning person devote practically a half-day to the cleanup. That was on top of the time we (the homeowners) spent cleaning up. Another unpleasant surprise was the weather -- muggy and rainy, which meant that a job that should have taken two days ended up taking three, to allow for drying time. So it was inconvenient and forced my wife, who runs a home-based marketing business and had to work around the slowly drying floor. But having said all that, the work was first-rate, and the floor looks beautiful. The price we ended up paying was reasonable $760 for a room of about 300 square feet. The company gave us a credit of $200 from the "big deal" -- not the full $250 package we had bought, but to be fair, the big deal was on resurfacing, not refinishing. We would recommend them highly. But you need to understand that a refinishing creates tons of dust, and muggy weather could stretch out the time frame.

Called to set up an appointment for a floor refinishing estimate - had to leave voice mail. 10 days, no response. Called and left another voice mail. Finally received a phone voice mail message after several days from "David", said he had been out of town. I called him back, got a voice mail, and left message that I had made arrangements with another contractor. Very frustrating, and very unprofessional. I would not consider using this contractor, since if he is unresponsive to requests for estimates, I conclude that he would likely be even more unreliable/unresponsive during a job.

It really didn't seem to be quite what they advertised. It basically amounted to a fancy buffing and not their actual sandless refinishing like they claimed. He seemed like he rushed the process just to get through it. He kind of cut corners. They did show up on time. The prices seem to be pretty decent.

It went wonderful! David is a great business man who knows the ins and outs of this business!

My phone call was returned promptly and the service was done within a week from scheduling. I was more than pleased with the work, cleanup and professionalism of the staff. I would absolutely recommend David and his staff to anyone needing new flooring or repairing floors. Excellent job!!

When David first called me back from my initial call to him, he was very friendly and also extremely prompt in returning my call. He was extrmemely professional and curtisy. We talked initial about what I was needing done and decided to schedule an appointment for him to come and look at my floors. He showed up on the day and time that we had discussed and everything was fantastic. We talked about a time that worked best for both of us to have the floors totally redone. They have not been refinished in about 10 years. The work that was done was the best I have ever seen. He was able to blend the floors that were many years old to newly refinished floors, and THEY LOOK FANTASTIC!! I would highly recommend David and his team!!

David performed a basic clean up/re-finish to the wood floors in two of our bedrooms. The floors had had carpeting installed on top of them for many years. He did a great job of matching the floors to the rest of the house.
