Description of Work: I used Air Doctor for Interior design and home decorating. They have continuously provided services for me for a variety of services for the past year or more. The cost depends on what service they did. Air doctor is a small company and it is run by husband and wife. The husband is a licensed heat and air technician. They are a contractor for heat and air units, installation and service. He is also a licensed plumber and electrician. So he has multiple licenses and competencies. So I used them initially for heat and air but they pretty much can provide any service for minor service repairs and renovations, from roofing to plumbing.

Description of Work: I had a leak in the lines to the heat pump system. They repaired the leak.

Description of Work: The air quit working. Called Air Doctor, he came out found the issue and fixed it.

Description of Work: We smelled something burning, we called and they were here immediately. They just replaced a part.

Description of Work: Had Air Doctor come out for an estimate on replacing 2 heat pumps with propane furnaces. Have never heard from them again, 2 phone calls to them with no response. oh well.

Description of Work: My daughter, who lives in Knoxville, is divorced and has 2 small children (one is a special needs child) had her air conditioning system go out on a Friday morning. Due to a heat wave in the south at the time, the temperature in the house quickly rose to over 90 degrees. She called a company I found for her on Angie's list and at 3:00pm someone arrived. He spent approximately 15 min. and told her she would need a new unit since it was 18 years old. He would send someone from the sales department out on Saturday. No alternative was offered. Incredulously she paid the $79 service fee and called me again in a panic. I then called a friend who referred me to John Lynch of AIR DOCTOR based in Morristown, Tn. Although it was now after 6:pm I explained my dilemma and he said it would take him a little over an hour to get there. Within 15 min of his arrival he had identified the problem and 30 minutes later had the immediate problem fixed and the house was cooling down. He did say an expensive part($400) would need to be replaced soon and this would allow for another say 2 years of operation while funds could be saved for replacement. I called my daughter this afternoon (104 heat index now) and she said her and the girls are cool as a cucumber! I CANNOT express enough my gratitude to John and Amber (John's wife) Lynch for their caring, concern and kindness during this family crisis. These are two very special people who put caring and service above the lure of money. John (AIR DOCTOR) will be returning to install the part once it arrives and I'm sure his work will be as surperb as his character. I will tell everyone I know who needs heating/air conditioning service or replacement to use AIR DOCTOR! You will not be disappointed.
