Donald arrived on time and provided a written estimate. He recommended two coats, but when I was hesitant on that, he gave me quotes for both ways. He was able to determine that leaking gutters were causing the wood rot that we had in two places. His estimate was next to the lowest, and his professionalism in providing the estimate more than made up for the difference. He provided proof of insurance as well. He delivered exactly as promised. The cleaning and caulking was done one day and the painting started. The wood repair, sealing the gutters, and rest of the paint was finished the next day. It was obvious right away that we would need two coats, so we went with that. Most other estimators had only recommended one coat, using the same paint, and with higher estimates than Donald's two-coat estimate. They did a great job, but we decided that the trim color we had picked was too bright. We asked for an estimate to redo the trim, and Donald gave us an unbelievably low estimate ($175) which was his cost. This was above and beyond service. They came out in a few days and knocked it out. We could not be happier with the service that Donald and his team provided. Several of our neighbors have now asked him for estimates as well.

Met with Donald and we walked the house, he took notes, gave me an estimate and we shook hands on the price. When the weather got right, he showed up and he and his crew went to work. It took less than 3 days for them to replace all the bad wood and paint the house. The crew was very nice and they cleaned up after themselves.

In addition to painting the trim, doors and windows, he performed an exterior washing of the painted surfaces, repaired rotted wood, caulked and puttied cracks and holes, scrapped and spot primed peeling paint. We were under a tight schedule to get the painting done and Donald worked with us to get the work done timely. We particularly appreciated that once he started the work he and his crew stayed on the job until the work was finished. He is a man of his word and was very responsive to the questions we raised related to the work.

The work went well and on time. His crew worked hard and were clean - did not leave a mess for me to clean up. They used brushes and rollers on the exterior cedar instead of spraying with spray going everywhere.

There was some paint splashing on windows that they mostly took care of, but the biggest problem was no one showing up to work on a couple of days that they were scheduled to come. I never received a call when this happened. Instead, I was the one who had to call, leave multiple messages, and wait for an answer.

Great job, professional, timely, cleaned up well afterwards - not sure how the touch ups are performed by them because they did it right the first time.

I got 4 bids on this job. I eliminated the highest and lowest and it was between two contractors. What put Aaron's over the top and got him the job was that Don Carpenter actually got on the roof to look at the wood dormer so that he could see if there was any rotten wood that you could not see from the ground. I went with him because I thought his bid would be the most accurate as far as necessary repairs. They took 3 days and they painted 2 coats. The crew was very respectful of my landscaping and patio furniture and plants. I called Don Carpenter to see when I could pay him. He asked that we look around make a list of areas that we were not satisfied with. There were just a few little touch ups and some straightening of the gutters. He tended to this and only then did he accept the payment. He also said if we notice anything later to just give him a call because he had left some paint in cans just in case. I told him we would call him in a couple years when we paint the interior.

Obtained 3 quotes, and after reviewing comments and details, decided to go with Aaron's. My home was a foreclosure that was half-painted in several areas. It now looks fantastic!

Bid was similar to others received. Quality of work was excellent. It took a little longer than planned to begin the work which did result in one follow-up call by me to re-confirm when the work would begin. Work then began as promised and was completed in about 4 days

They have always done good work for me. A little hard to catch up with sometimes because they keep busy but the quality of the work is good.

Mr. Carpenter is a great person to do business. He came by as promised and gave us an estimate that was very reasonable. What I found impressive was his crew doesn't spray on paint-they only use brushes and rollers. He showed up with a fantastic team that worked their butts off. They were well dressed and very courteous. The job was finished in 3 days and they left the premises as clean as when they showed up. I highly recommend Aaron painting and construction and the next time I need to paint the interior, there is only one company I will call. Thanks Don!

It went well but I do not remember how much the service cost. I went with them instead of another construction company because their price was pretty competitive. They came and did what they said that they would. They had a good price and they did good work and that was all I was looking for. The quality of their work was excellent and the job went very smoothly overall. I was pleased with everything that they did for me.

My overall experience with them was terrific. He came out and he gave me an estimate. He stuck with the estimate and got the job done in a timely manner. They cleaned up after themselves each night. After it was all done, they came back to make repairs that I found that needed to be done. I have had no problems with them. He stayed right on budget and right on task. They were just easy to work. They were professional workers.

Painting job went fairly well. Five to six painters were available each day for several days to complete the job. I made a mistake by not disconnecting all electronics myself. Drop cloths were used, but use was inconsistent in some areas since I found little paint droplets on my wood floors. They did good work, but you need to watch all contractors to insure floors stay covered.

Don Carpenter responded quickly to my request for an estimate. He was very professional and came early to the appointment. I would definitely consider hiring him in the future.

We could not be happier. Don and his crew did an amazing job. They showed up exactly when they said they would. They worked fast and hard to get as much as possible done each day. They got more accomplished in a few days than I would have ever imagined. And it looks great. I would highly recommend Don to anyone that needs painting work done.

I think overall they did fairly well. The gentleman was very responsive. When I talked to him I told him the problem, they looked quickly, and addressed the problem. There were some issues, but overall I think they did pretty good. He gave me an initial price which I liked and over the course of the process, he told me to add more so with the everything together, I would say the price was a little bit high. People who used him said he is not responsible and actually he had some issues with some of the people here too.

Don was here when he said he would be here and his crew did a first class job. Don was excellent with the boss (my wife) painting several areas with different stains and colors till she was happy with her choice. Then quickly starting painting the rest of the house before she could change her mind and she was very happy with colors. Very please with work, his crews, and first contractor I ever did business with who was more concerned with his work and our satisfaction on the job, instead of getting paid. That I had to call him to come pick up the check another first.

I was very happy with the work that they did for me. Donald kept me informed and was very professional. They actually came earlier than originally stated to do the work. I had to have some wood repair done and overall I was very happy with the results. They also painted the pipes on the roof and replaced and chalked around and put boots on the pipes. All of the work was done at what I thought was reasonable price in a reasonable amount of time. I would recommend him to my friends and neighbors and would use them again.
