Description of Work: We have used Scott Heating and Cooling for several years and will continue to use them for our HVAC needs. A unit in a house that we are selling was not cooling properly and it needed to be fixed in order to pass inspection. I called Mr. Scott and left a message. He did not immediately return my call; however, my wife called and she was able to speak directly with them. They promptly came to the house and checked the malfunctioning unit. The unit had a bad control board and they didn't have one in the repair truck. They came back the next day and replaced the control board. The cost was lower than we expected and that was a relief. The unit is now fully operational.

+ -1 moreOverall I was pleased with the unit. I was also pleased that he worked with me in the beginning by letting me give him half of the money up front and the remainder a week later.
Description of Work: I liked that they were prompt when I first called out. Someone came out within 30 minutes to give me an estimate and then two days later they were putting the unit in. I didn't like that after the unit was put in they didn't return my call, the job wasn't complete.(the digital thernostat needed to be put in) I just felt like that after he was paid he felt that the job was complete even though it wasn't

+ -1 moreSammy came out this morning, about 11:30, determined our compressor was bad and needed to be replaced. He made some calls, found a compressor and came back at 7:30 this evening and is currently installing the compressor. You don't know how blessed you are until something is gone and somebody like Scott Heating /Cooling comes to your rescue.
Description of Work: It is now 7:30pm cst and Sammy Scott is here now replacing our compresser, so we do not know how much the cost will be. Sammy came out this morning and determined that the compressor was bad and needed to be replaced. He found one and came back to install how great that is. My poor cats are hot to, they both are laying around stretched out under a fan or on the kitchen floor.
