Chimney Quest

The lady I spoke with was very friendly. I guess this company must stay very busy and I will assume does great work because I've certainly tried, but still haven't gotten them to contact me.

Fireplace inspection and cleaning scheduled quickly and arrived promptly on time. Chose Chimney Quest for best price quoted for cleaning. Found cracks in ceramic plates and gave quote to replace. Needed to order plates and scheduled date and time for replacement. Day of repair did not arrive on time; however did call to report they were unavoidably detained on last job and gave window of time of arrival. Replaced ceramic plates with steel plates. Worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up well. Gave discount on dryer vent cleaning. Will use again for fireplace/chimney work and dryer vent cleaning.

They made an appointment then had to cancel last minute. I was frustrated but not upset as things so happen and I was in a time crunch due to selling my home. They made it up by coming on the weekend and offering a discount on their service. I will definitely use them again!!

I can't say enough good things about these folks. I had an extensive job, involving 4 chimneys, and mortar repair on a large home. These folks were able to pinpoint (and document through photos) the problems, which went beyond just the chimneys. I also had issues with cracks in my mortar and roof tucks. These guys were conscientious and professional, and obviously cared about the client's home. But the most impressive thing is that they are problem solvers and can do lots of things, which you don't always find these days. They were able to look for and fix a leak that had plagued me for several years, despite multiple calls to the roofer. Excellent service and work.

They rebuilt our crown, replaced the chimney cap, sandblasted the mold off the brick and totally cleaned out the inside of the chimney. It looks sparkling now!

I received the referral for Chimney Quest from roofers working on our recently purchased home after sharing with them the estimate I got from another chimney repair company. The service was almost half the price of the other estimate from the leading Chimney repair company in Nashville. John and his team showed up when they said they would, did the work they quoted us for, and were very responsive throughout the process. He laid out all of the options for me and provided his opinion on the best course of action (which surprisingly was the least expensive). I can't thank John enough for working so well with me and my family. It was a pleasure working with him and his team. John Weaks has an excellent team and got my job down almost a month before the competition would have been able to, which was critical because the broken crown was resulting in interior flooding during heavy rainstorms. The office seemed a little overworked; after my initial contact by phone I was sent an estimate and told it could be done the following week if I signed on within the next day. I did, having already received other quotes that were essentially the same but much later in start time. A week later, I received a call that they were going to come out for an estimate. Informing them they had already given me an estimate, it turned out they were overbooked and couldn't get to me for another week, but came out just to evaluate that the estimate provided based on my description of the job was accurate, which it was. Speaking to one of the servicemen, they were working in excess of 12 hours a day due to the holiday season and severe rainstorms we'd been having, so I think it's likely the office was just overwhelmed. That said, the work was fine quality; I had it inspected by a third-party afterwards during the course of a roof inspection and they verified everything was done well.
