Back in 2009 I bought about 6,000 worth of furniture from Value City Furniture in Cordova, TN. The service that I received there was so much better than the other furniture stores I had shopped in the previous months and the turn a round time in getting the furniture and the quality of their American Signature brand product ultimately sold me. All the furniture that I purchased was American Signature branded. This line of furniture has a limited lifetime warranty and for me that said a lot about the product. I bought mostly case goods, such as a complete home office, desck hutch and chair, with shelving units. Two queen bedrooms with nightstands, and a chest. A Beautyrest mattress, a dining room table set, two entertainment stands, a collection of accent tables. I also purchased 4 rugs, one sofa and two accent chairs. Along with this purchase I bought a fabric warranty called "StainSafe". The salesman told me it would protect and warranty my sofa for 7 years and the warranty covered (rips, tears, burns and spills of any kind) The warranty was well worth the nominal price I paid. I had a party at my house recently and someone burnt a hole in the arm of my sofa with a lit cigarette! I contacted the store the next day and they told me the steps I needed to take in order to file a claim. It was easy and after talking with the store's customer service it was determined that my sofa could not be repaired becasue it was no longer being manufactured! This warranty is AMAZING! The store allowed me to "re-select" another sofa. The warranty is not prorated and so my full amount with taxes that I spent on the previous sofa was able to be applied to a new selection. Value City's prices have gone down since I purchased my original sofa. Orginally spent 1000.00 on the first sofa. This time around I got another American Signature branded Sofa, and huge cocktail ottoman. I also bought another Fabric warranty. The American Signature case goods that I had purchased were showing some wear and tear. I had a leg on my dinette table repaired it was loose and I also had the dinette's table re-stained b/c it was fading in the middle...these were all determined to be manufacture's defects and thus qualified me for service/repairs on my furniture. They sent a technician to my house who inspected the furniture and later had a delivery crew come pick up my furniture so they could do the major repairs back at the store. I was very happy with the responsiveness of the store and it's willingness to help.
