My laptop wouldn't start up. I had initially taken it to PC Doctor in Southaven, MS because it's closest to me. They told me they were busy because of the new school year, but I didn't realize how busy they were. I needed my computer fixed soon because I used it for work and school. PC Doctor had my computer for a week, and they hadn't even looked at it yet. I picked it up and drove up to Memphis where Uptech is located. I dropped it off at Uptech on Monday, and by Tuesday afternoon somebody had called me to tell me what was wrong with my computer and how much it would cost to fix it. My computer was ready by Friday--even though they were very busy. I've had the computer for over a week now and it's running as well as it used to when it was brand new. I'm happy with their work, and I highly recommend them!

I have used them several times and they stand by their warranties, are quite thorough, punctual, and creative. Shortly before this above incident, another computer I had stopped working. It was under warranty by the manufacurer but they were unable to fix it and were in the process of replacing the unit. UPTECH fixed the problem quickly which was a great savings for me because in doing so preserved critical data on the hard drive. They have always been quick professional and trustworthy.

I was very satisfied. Much quicker and less hassle than if I had taken it to the Mac dealer.

I took my laptop computer in for virus removal. After more than a week, I had not heard from them and decided to go by and pick it up. They had completed the evaluation and repair estimate, yet had not called me. They told me that I had a 'bad hard drive', that there would be a charge for a new hard drive, virus removal, and an additional charge to try to get anything off my old computer/hard drive and put it on the new one -- total cost:: a lot of $$$. I paid $31 for the evaluation and got my laptop back without repairs. The rest of the story a is, when I then took it to another tech specialist, he fixed the laptop in less than a week, for less than $100, and I DID NOT NEED A NEW HARD DRIVE ! My computer is back running good as new, with all my old programs on it -- without the headache of having to start over on an 'erased' computer. Sadly, just a month ago my wife has been taking our childrens' laptops to be repaired there, and had just paid Uptech to have one of our children's laptops repaired - for a new hard drive, too. Wonder if it really needed one?? They also did not call to tell her the computer was ready to be picked up the last 2 times she has used them (December 2112, and January 2013). Both repair jobs were for virus removal, which seems to always required them to 'erase' the whole computer, meaning we have to figure out what programs to put back on so the children can do their homework again. My wife says she has noticed a general decline in service the last 2 years she has used them.

Dropped off computer and picked it up when they said it would be ready. They called in the process to provide status.

Uptech provided excellent service at a very reasonable price. They were professional to deal with and made my repair within the time frame they gave me when I took my CPU in to them. Their shop is very close to my home and has excellent parking right at their front door--helpful if you are carrying equipment!

They always do real good work. They are very helpful on the phone and in person. I would reccomend them to others.

Overall it went well. I have used Uptech in the past I have always been fully satisfied with their work.

I wanted to have Uptech Computers upgrade my computer. They rebuilt it to my needs and wants. I felt they did a very good job on my computer. They returned my calls immediately and were very professional in explaining everything to me when I had a question.
