Two Men And A Truck

I didn't feel they took the care they should have with my furniture. A dresser had damage they claimed was from the elevator door, I believe it happened from something rubbing up against it. They dropped the piece hard at my old residence and gouged the parquet floor twice. I asked what would be done about it repairs? Was told "I don't know I just put it in my report". I Have not been contacted regarding the damage. So its been two days and no contact by company. Today I unpacked the last of my boxes and one labeled very fragile had 7 broken crystal stemware pieces. Each was wrapped in bubble wrap and the box was stuffed with newspaper. They had to of thrown my box with force to the ground for that to happen. I am very upset with how careless these movers were with my belongings. Update, one week later, I was contacted by a very rude person who accepted no responsibility for my damages. If you value your belongings don't use two men and a truck.

Its was good. Used them a few times.

The men worked hard. The load may have needed to be divided even further. The men were very tired by the time we got to the new house. Several items were broken, sofa leg, buffet foot, bedstead. I think next time I would hire a mover who has more experience with moving antique furniture. If all I had was a load of boxes it would have been fine.

IT WAS ******* ****..... after the home invasion they saw expensive items they came back to steal. They broke in, left windows open to return and do more vandalism. This was reported to Memphis Police and Two Men and Truck denied any criminal activity. I have heard numerous accounts of similar burglaries so just don't go there.

They went up and beyond and excellent experience. At some times they were to fast for me to keep up with them for my unpacking. The were very helpful, pleasant , understanding, sweet and professional. I just fell in love with them, that took such excellent care of me as a senior citizen and my belongings. I recommend them highly.

I recently contracted Two Men and a Truck to assist with packing and moving my mother's household. Requesting a quote was easily done via their website. Allie Shackelford, office manager, promptly called to discuss the charges and services covered. She was polite, friendly, patient, and helpful. She offered me several appointment options and helped me decide the best choice for my situation. Shortly afterward I received detailed Pre-Move estimates via email, which included all the dos and donts to insure a successful move experience. As Allie explained during our phone call, the moving team called me the morning of the move to let me know they were on their way. So very polite and upbeat, they gave me their full names, asked if there was anything I needed for them to bring from the office, and communicated an estimate time of arrival. Simmie McIntosh, Jermain Knox, and Calvin Smith (apologies if I misspelled) arrived at my mother's house exactly at the time they estimated. They parked the truck with appropriately placed orange parking cones to caution the street traffic. They introduced themselves - all smiles, despite the biting cold wind that was blowing. They came into the house, asked questions about the items to be moved, assessed the appropriate way to tackle the packing and moving, and promptly started working. It was obvious from the start that they work together like a well-oiled machine, so I did my best to stay out of the way. They didn't hesitate to ask questions during the move, point out possible issues with moving certain pieces of furniture - all in an effort to insure I was satisfied with the work. At each stage, paperwork was discussed with me in detail before asking for my signature. I observed the relaxed working relationship they seemed to have with one another. I can't imagine that moving heavy furniture is fun, but they went about their business with smiles, light-hearted conversation, and focus. I was duly impressed. I noted that the guys took great care with all the items packed and moved - regardless of the size or value. Their manager, Ed, dropped by for quality control purposes and was likewise friendly - explaining why he was there, how I felt about the service so far, if I had questions or concerns. He explained that the 15 minutes he was there to observe would be credited to my final labor charge. Simmie, Jermain, and Calvin were very very very patient with my mother, who directed where the furniture was to be placed in the house. I can't tell you how much I appreciated that. After the work was complete, the final paperwork was explained in detail to my satisfaction. The charges clearly itemized and documented. The entire experience was better than I could have imagined. While hiring movers is not cheap by any means, these guys were worth every last penny. I can't remember the last time I had such an uneventful, smooth, and stress-free encounter with a service provider. Not at any time did I feel that the guys were taking too long, or dragging their feet. They were there to get the job done - and done right. I was given several opportunities during the move to communicate concerns, if I had any. Shortly after the gentlemen left, I received a call from the office to inquire how the move went. The next time I need moving services, I will definitely call Two Men and a Truck - and I will specifically request these gentlemen. I will even alter my plans to insure they are available.

The movers, Ferrin Jefferson and Jermaine Knox, arrived at the time stated and ensured each piece of furniture was covered by a blanket and plastic to ensure no dings/scratches. When loading and unloading the furniture, they ensured that no walls or doorways were touched. Both were very personable and pleasant during the job; and appeared to enjoy their work. They treated the furniture as if it were their own. The cost was very reasonable for the work performed and I would definitely use the company again in the future. I highly recommend Two Men and Truck for any moving needs. It was the best moving experience I have ever had.

The team of two arrived promptly at the set time. They were pleasant and easy to work with and followed our directions easily in terms of what was going where. They assessed carefully how to move furniture through some tight corners and crowded areas. All in all, there was no damage. Everything went just right, and we were very glad we hired this service.

Service was excellent and workers were polite. I'd use again. The trip from garage wasn't nearly as expensive as from house to garage, which took 3 hours and included wrapping and was considerably more expensive. But with the return of furniture covers, the price for the second job wasn't so bad.

Moved a small two bedroom apt with no appliances. They were slow and one very unprofessional. I had to remind them several times to get boxes in my two small closets yet they still left things for me to move. All furniture was supposed to be wrapped but several large pieces left unwrapped. I would never suggest this company nor would I use them again. I feel like they took advantage of a woman. My quote was $525.00 yet my total was $1025. Unacceptable

Two Men and a Trick did an excellent job. They did both the packing and moving all within the same day. We moved my mother who had a lot of glass and everything arrived safe and sound. Great attitudes. Very professional. Very safe. All around a great experience with these guys. Highly recommend.

Two men and a truck were awesome! They took great care when loading the truck and worked very efficiently too! They took less time than I thought and the workers were very professional and courteous! I would definitely recommend them!

They did a very good job and I was pleased. They took care of my furniture, explained what they were going to do and did what they said they would do. They even did a follow up to be sure I was satisfied.

Phillip and Frank arrived on time and went right to work. They loaded my things, followed me to my apartment and carried everything up to the third floor. They did the job in two hours. Good work.

It was the worst move I've ever experienced. Three young men showed up (I'd paid for an extra crewman to reduce the amount of time) and I quickly learned that one just graduated high school, one was a rising sophomore or junior in college, and one was active duty military, about 25 years old. Not the professionals I was expecting. And I was quickly reassured of my fears. They didn't wrap my furniture so my tables and chairs were scratched; boxes marked "fragile" were topped with boxes marked "books;" and when they put my bed back together, they stripped the screws. My brand new washer and dryer were scratched, and they broke a glass vase, a couple glasses and the frame of one of my favorite prints. I was saddened to know that I was not receiving the services of Two Men and a Truck which came highly recommended; and if this was the referral they offered, I would never recommend them to anyone else.

They did well. They were on time each day. They moved all household goods, but they were unable to get 5 small pieces, but are moving them next weekend for us. They were very polite and courteous and very helpful in asnwering questions.

They were AMAZING!! I would hire them again in a heart beat. They showed up on time, were courteous, professional, and HUSTLED the entire time. I cannot imagine anyone doing a better job than Brennon, Juan, and John did for us. While the initial plan was for us to load the pods ourselves, hiring these three was the best decision we have made in a long time. Great company. Great team.

They did a good job and I would hire them again for the move. I would probably not for packing but not because they didn't do a good job but because the boxes are overpriced. I was happy that I had packed most myself because the packing cost was more box cost than labor.

It is $70 or $80 and hour for three people. It is less for just 2 people but I recommend getting three. They were on time, very courteous and they didn't break anything. They were very good. They moved stuff around the rooms. Their pricing was good and they were very professional.

They were good. They had us moved in two and one-half hours and were able to put everything where we needed it. It was a pretty big move. They weren't as cheap as other places, but they didn't waste time. They were good about cleaning up. They were professional.

They did a good job. I was happy with the actual movers, but the people in their office poorly handled my credit card number and charged somebody else's move on my credit card two weeks after I completed my move. Right after that my credit card number was used for other purposes. I did get my money back, but I left it to AMEX to figure out the fraud. I wouldn't use them again just because of the type of interaction I had with them.

Their price was competitive to other places. I had some unfortunate circumstances when I was moving because of a divorce, but they handled a very difficult situation very professionally and I was very thankful for all the extra's that they did for me. I will definitely use them in the future, and will tell others about them.

I was a little alarmed about the minimal protection. Nothing was damaged. They were able to move very difficult items with ease. They were cheap and reliable.

They damaged a lot of things. They were good about coming up with preparations. They did a little bit of packing and it was good. However they were not careful with our house and things and were really rough with the house. We had to repair walls and they damaged the doors of the refrigerator. They gave us only half of the value. They were a sort of budget company. They were pretty punctual. I would not really use them again.

They showed up during the bracketed time frame. They were friendly and moved everything needed with the exception of the plant and a few fragile items.
