Absolutely not what I paid for part of my lawn is being treated and the other part not,I have called on several times asking to be notified so that I can speak with the service technician myself and that NEVER happens just simply not please, however the part that's being treated I can see some results but still have weed in it as well, Don't think I'll be using this company again. Disappointed.

Initial request (via call center hold queue) for a manager to contact me to discuss the dead areas of my lawn was 10/13. I reached a call center. I told them that my lawn had been badly damaged by over-spraying. They said a manager would call within 24-28 hours. No response. Called back again (through call center h***) on Friday 10/21 and they could not/ would not escalate to a supervisor even though it had been over a week with no manager communication. I received the same "a manager will contact you within 24-28 hours". They said the manager would be out no later than Monday 10-24, but they called my husband (not the number I gave them) to postpone until today. I tried to call the caller-id number today around 12PM to find out what time the manager (Ed) was planning to arrive - a call center again (yikes!!) and again they said they would message the manager with my phone number to call. No call. Tonight at 6:15pm, they called my husband...after I specifically asked them to call me. My husband was not aware of all the issues and that I wanted them to replace the sod in several places. He told my husband that he did come out to the house - without calling me! - and found chinch bugs had killed our lawn, which is clearly not true - and that they would be applying more chemicals on Friday. While my husband was on the phone, I asked to speak to the manager and when he handed me the phone the manager hung up. In my opinion, this is an extremely unprofessional way of handling a customer service issue. I am very frustrated that TruGreen is unreachable through a very poorly managed call center, their management is extremely unprofessional, and that they don't train their "specialists" to recognize and resolve issues. We will be cancelling our service immediately.

I just bought a new house and had a great yard but I did have some weeds and wanted to make sure it was taken care of. A door-to-door salesman convinced me it was a good idea to use Trugreen. I was concerned because I had used some of my own chemical on the yard, so the salesman had his supervisor take a look and assured me it would be fine. He told me that the tech would probably double charge me but he would give me a credit after. That should have been my red flag. When the technician came out I showed him the chemical I used and he said it would be fine. Three days later almost my entire yard was completely dead. After spending over a week trying to get some sort of response from the sales person and 800 number I was at my wits end. Finally the local general manager called me and after trying to see if I would be willing to split the cost of sod with them, which of course I wasn't, he told me he would look into getting it taken care of. It has now been several more weeks and the most that has happened is a sod company has come out two times to give a quote and put some flags in my lawn. They made it clear that they would not be sodding all the dead areas and it also took a couple of calls to even get credited what had happened so far. When I call customer service they just take notes and say someone will get back with me and at most I get a call from the local general manager saying he is still working on it. It has been weeks, my entire yard is dead, I still have weeds where the lawn is alive, and I don't know what to expect next. Do yourself a favor and call a small local company, my next call is to the local news station. When a company messes up this bad you at least expect them to treat it as a priority and communicate clearly, not just get around to maybe helping after many weeks. Every day I see my lawn, it is not an issue for them apparently. The last communication I had was I would get sod a week ago, which did not happen, just flags in my yard and a promise that over the next couple weeks but no definite date I should get sod. Still nothing, and no one can tell me what to expect when I call in. I have been reasonable and expect these things to take some time, but when promises don't get met, you receive no follow up, and literally week after week keeps going by with nothing even after you call in and sit on hold for 15 minutes to talk to someone and then get no response after, you just feel helpless and don't know what else to do but warn others.

I called them and told them that the lawn looked terrible, and so they came out, looked at it and sprayed it. That didn?t help, and so we had a person come out who said that we could spray it, kill the insects and then we could put a new lawn on. They said that I had to pay for it, to which I didn?t agree. They ended up delivering some plugs to put in, but I was not going to put those in because I didn?t have the right things to put them in either. After that, I had my gardener put it in and they said that they were not going to pay for it. My husband called up and told them never to show up here anymore. If they had done a good job, I would have probably found their price good. I wasn?t really at home but I think they came on time. They are a horrible company because they just destroyed my lawn. I wouldn?t recommend them to anyone.

I worked with them for several years, trying to improve my lawn. I didn't see the results. It cost fifty dollars a month for the service and the value wasn't there. They wouldn't return my calls and they kept blaming the problems on other things.

Had just installed new sod (3 weeks). Within 2 days of treatment (4/8/08), all top of grass turned brown from over treatment (as did my neighbors 1 day after mine, due to theirs being treated on 4/9/08). Manager stated it was very common, that it wouldn't be permanent, and I should mow it and it would look better (cut the brown off). I asked why the reps didn't tell me this was possible if it was so common, he then stated they have no idea when it would happen and didn't want to alarm anyone?! They were coming back out to evaluate (free service call), which I told them I did not want anything else on my yard without my authorization. I came home and again (4/14/08) my yard had been sprayed again WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION with urea, potassium chloride. Manager became pretty rude with me when I stated I didn't believe I should be charged for the service. I canceled and do not believe I owe them anything, however they are still hunting me for the $27.

I would not use this company again. They really don't know what they are talking about. They even left the back gate open, despite them knowing I have dogs. That was careless.

My lawn looks great. They do a much better job than the former company I used. They work hard and charge a fair price.

I have experienced cinch bugs, the organization sent a field person who informed us that true green has "watered down the chemical" causing the bug problem. He solicited us to start with him at his new company. I called and spoke to Wayne, a manger, confirmed that he would come to my house to take a look at the problem. That was five days ago, no call no show.

Very poor, yard destroyed by chinch bugs, not recognised by trugreen until too late.

MAKES RETURN VISITS FREE OF CHARGE WHEN PERSISTENT INFESTATIONS NOTED AFTER ROUTINE SPRAYING, MAKES WRITTEN COMMENTS ON FINDING EACH VISIT WITH SUGGESTIONS ON CARE & WATERING.

In late April I called to request they be sure to treat my yard for cinch bugs as my yard was prone to attract them and May is the month they begin to lay eggs. They told me they only treat for cinch bugs, once there was evidence of them. I told them that by that time it would be too late and to treat the yard anyway - they said they would. I was gone when they were to come and treat the yard and a few weeks later in June when I returned home the cinch bugs had begun to destroy my grass. I called they said they had not treated it but would come and treat for them immediately(3 wks later they came). My yard was very distressed by that time and when they came they also fertilized. When they fertilized they burnt the grass and destroyed what was left of it from the cinch bugs. Needless-to-say, I have not let them near my yard since. It appears their technicians are not well trained and sometimes do more harm than good.

TruGreen ChemLawn treats our yard, front and back, every other month. ChemLawn typically fertilizes the yard and applies herbicides for lawn weeds. I appreciate that the Chemlawn technicians pick up and move my kid's toys out of the lawn before spraying. Chemlawn leaves an invoice with notes about the treatment at the front door.

WE ARE NOT PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE. WE SEE MANY WEEDS IN OUR SMALL YARD. WHEN WE HAVE CONTACTED THEM ABOUT THIS, THEY ALWAYS SAY TO GIVE IT TIME, BUT IT NEVER SEEMS TO GET BETTER. MOST NEIGHBORING YARDS LOOK BETTER THAN OURS.

OUR YARD WAS CAREFULLY TREATED FOR PROBLEMS AND HAVE BEEN RESOLVED BY CHEMLAWN'S APPLICATIONS. THE OVERALL YARD IS IN GOOD HEALTH AND ALL SIGNS OF BUGS AND BRAOD LEAFS ARE NOW GONE.
