Tommy Electric

Tommy came out at the time we agreed on to give me a quote. I mentioned Angie's list and he gave me a discount. He said he would be here at 9:00 to do the work. He called at 8:15 to make sure I was ready and was onsite slightly before 9:00. In this day of "I'll be there between 8 and noon", it was refreshing to have someone give me an actual time and stick to it. He and one of his workers came in, refreshed themselves with the work to be done and got to work. They were done with the work that would have taken me all day to do, in 2 hours. It was well worth the money to not have to crawl around in the attic and try to fish wire down the walls. They did a top notch job, cleaned up after themselves. The price was the same as we discussed. Everything went like clock work. WELL DONE!!

I called Tommy on Sunday afternoon expecting to make an appointment for the next day. Instead Tommy came by in about an hour and spent about an hour trying to isolate the problem. He came back the next day with some help and repaired the bad wiring in no time. He was on time and very professional. His price was fair and the work stands for itself. I would recommend him to anyone needing a residential electrician.

I had a series of dead electrical outlets all on a single breaker. I replaced the breaker myself without success. Tommy Electric showed up promptly and the technicians were very courteous. They solved the problem within 10 minutes. The series of dead outlets had several receptacles that had ground faults in them. The breaker also had a ground fault. Tommy electric replaced the breaker with one without a ground fault and immediately solved the problem. I thought the $145 charge was a little high for the breaker and the 20 minutes of tech time, but they found the solution (which I probably never would have thought of) and did it quickly. I would definitely use Tommy Electric again.

My air quit working. Called air repairman and he said compressor not getting any electricity, need electrician. Looked on Angie's list and called Tommy. He came within an hour and fixed the fuse as well as telling me what to do next. Very pleased with his part.

Tommy replaced meter center at my rental property. He was able to come out and provide a quote on the same day I called. He told me how he thought the damage occurred, which corresponded to past events. He performed the work the next day, charged the exact amount of the estimate and gave me a 10% discount for being an Angie's List member. Highly recommended!

The electrician knew his trade, identified the problem, and fixed the problem very quickly. He even supplied some parts from his personal inventory and did not charge us extra for the parts.

Tommy came out to review the work. Sent an detailed email estimate which I liked very much. Was able to do the service in a couple of days. Pete, his helper, was very inform on what needed to be done. If there was a problem he talked to me about it. Moved items he needed to move to get to area. Cleaned up after himself. Tommy called the next day to make sure I was satisfied. Excellent job!!

Company responded well and was very professional and infomational. Price was high.

After looking on Angie's list, I called Tommy Noe with an electrical problem. I had been having power surges and power outages. Tommy came within a half hour of my call and identified the problem in just a few minutes. He had to replace a breaker in my breaker box (and showed me the replaced burnt breaker). Luckily, he had a replacement on his truck. Everything took approximately a half hour and I have had no problems since. I believe this solved the problem. Tommy was very professional and personable and I would certainly recommend and use him again.

I called 5 contractors and Tommy was the most professional, punctual one among all. I was charged with renovating and upgrading all of the outdoor lighting for our gated community. It was a fairly large undertaking. Tommy Noe was responsive from day one and did a terrific job. He conducted himself professionally at all time. His pricing was quite fair and went out of his way to make sure the job was completed promptly. I highly recommend his company. P.S. This is posted by the son of an electrician and is the first time I have ever used another electrician other than my dad or did the job myself in 45 years!

As I was replacing electrical outlets on Saturday afternoon, the last time I turned a circuit breaker back on it flashed, kicked off, and kicked the breaker next to it off. When I was checking the house to see which circuits were out, I turned on one of the live switches and the light blew. I did it again in another room and the same thing happened. Way too much power in the circuitry! I then turned off all the breakers to avoid damaging appliances, etc., and called the electrician (about 3:00 in the afternoon, on Saturday). He said he would be at the house within the hour, and was there thirty minutes later. After checking all my work and finding no problems, he found the culprit. The neutral line at the service was fried. He repaired the connections and I was back in business. On Saturday afternoon I went from no power and an unknown problem, to being up-and-running in about two hours. Very pleased!

Tommy is a highly principled individual. He ensures the work is done to code specs and is very accomodating with the homeowner's requests. He was prompt and paid attention to detail. This project included wiring throughout the house as well as in the remodeled section. I was very satisfied with his work and will use him again.

My husband's car broke down and Tommy was very nice to reschedule for an hour later than planned. He arrived promptly, and was very polite and professional. He was able to fix the wiring in the fan in a few minutes, and then was able to re-wire an outside light to bypass the broken motion sensor until we can get a new one installed.

He did quality work at a great price. This the second time he has done work for me and I will call him again.

The service was excellent. He is very good at what he does, and also very professional. His prices are very reasonable and he is an honest man. When he first came out, he actually had to leave and then come back with other workers, but he was very apologetic of this. I would recommend him.

Tommy came the day I called him and fixed the outdoor electrical outlet. When it blew out again a week later he came the same day I called and troubleshooted it to another electrical outlet. Everything is fixed perfectly and it only cost me the original service fee. he is knowlegeable and I am glad to know someone to call and recommend for electrical issues.

Tommy arrived on time after having just a bit of trouble finding the house (he wasn't the first and didn't surprise me). Once here, I took him through the house and showed him the things I wanted to have done. He gave me a ballpark at that time of $800, to which I responded that I wanted it done. He stared with the outdoor fixture I wanted installed and the outdoor fixture near it I was replacing. He showed me how I didn't need to install the additional fixture, but could accomplish my goal with just installing the one. Next was the switches that didn't work. They all three work fine now. Next came the doorbell. That required finding the transformer (I had no idea where it was) which took some time, but he finally was able to locate it in a very illogical place. Since I wasn't familiar with transformers, I hadn't had this on hand. So when he left for lunch, he picked one up for me. Now for the ceiling fans. I had purchased them some time ago and taken them out of the box thinking I would do it myself. Turns out I was missing some of the screws for one of the two, so we didn't do that, but he had the other one up and working in no time. He then installed the outdoor recepticle on my patio using the power from the garage just on the other side of a junction box. I then asked for an estimate on updating my fuse box and circuit breaker situation, as the house has 1 circut breaker box and 4 fuse boxes. I also needed to have a couple of additional circuts added, as a house uses a lot more power than it did in 1946 and I am constantly finding myself replacing fuses or resetting breakers if I forget something is on in the family room and turn on the microwave. After we looked at all the boxes I currently have, he gave an estimate at around $3000.00 but suggested I might just want to find any existing power allotted not being used and reroute that to had additional circuts, with a rough estimate of $400.00. I definantly appreciated the suggestion on keeping cost down and am still considering which of these I would like to have done. All in all, Tommy was polite, professional, punctual and seemed to move quickly to get these things done. I will be using him again in the future.

It went very well. I called Tommy Electric at 8:05a with my problem. He said that he wasn't in his work truck yet, but would swing by before I had to go to work to get an idea of what needed to be done. He arrived at 8:30a and looked at the situation. He said to give him a call when I got off work. Originally, it appeared that the wrong number of amps were running to the A/C unit. After he opened the breaker box, however, Tommy found out that the box had been mislabeled and that the real culprit was a burned out wire. He arrived at 5:40p, took the breaker box apart, and replaced a wire that had burned out. Everything has been COOL ever since :)

It went perfectly Tommy was on time and accurate with his estimate of how long it would take. I would like to note I was expecting to have to change the service he saved 700 by letting me know that was unnecessary.

From the first initial call with the receptionist to the actual work done by Tommy, the quality was more than excellent! An appointment was made for the day after the call, and Tommy arrived on time, after calling me to say he was on the way. Was very professional and knowledgeable. He worked so fast, and cleaned up completely after the job. I have several electrical projects at my home and will surely call him in the future! Highly recommend!

He was great and fantastic. I had a coupon for this service. He had nothing but good things to say about Angie's List because he has been able to effectively advertise through them. He did a great job but it was a small job though. He didn’t change his price after the quote. He showed up on time. He did a little extra work but didn’t charge me for it. So it was great and I would recommend him for anything. I will call him again if I have any more electrical work. He was half the price of another guy. He was punctual and he did everything around. Everything looks good and he tested everything before he left. So I was happy with him.
