Tommy Electric

I called Tommy on Monday, 6/16 around lunch time. I explained my problem and he said he would come out the next day at lunch time. He texted me 30 mins prior to arriving so I could meet him there since I was at work. He was prompt and professional. He had a co-worker with them and they quickly fixed my garage issues. They were both very friendly and corteous. They worked fast and the price was not crazy. I would recommend them and definately use them again.

We've used Tommy 3 times for various small projects involving old wiring of our older home. Price is competitive with quick response times and fast repairs. I'm sure more old home issues will have us calling again.

Went great. Technicians arrived on time, were professional,and got the job done in an appropriate amount of time. Only complaint was finding several old outlets in the floor and some wire pieces left behind on the floor. The actual work was great and I trust the quality of the completed work 100%.

I was washing a load of laundry on Saturday morning...noticed a horrible burning smell coming from behind the washer/dryer and the plug was hot to touch. It turned out the breaker that controlled the washer/dryer outlet was broke, so we weren't able to turn off the power! Tommy interrupted his family time to come out and disconnect the faulty breaker so we didn't spend the weekend worrying! Repairs were made during normal business hours. He arrived early for the appointment and was very informative and honest. We were very happy with the work and will use Tommy Electric again!

Everything one could want in an electrician and an electrical service is found with this company; from prompt communication and service to thorough, quality work and advise. When I called I left a message; my call was returned in less than 15 minutes by Tommy Noe at which point we discussed the issue and set up a time to look at the problems - Tommy offered to come out that day but I scheduled us to meet the following day. He arrived promptly when he said he would, reviewed the problem, walked us through the solution(s) and a few hours later provided us with several options and estimates (1) where we purchase the fixtures and he installs or (2) he can both purchase and install the fixtures or (3) a combination of the two. We opted for #3, a combination, due to a unique situation with some recess lighting. We set up a time for the next day to complete the work. Again, Tommy and his helper were prompt when arriving for the job and in fact called ahead to see if they could begin 30 minutes early. The project took them about 90 minutes to complete. Both Tommy and his helper were extremely courteous, clean and respectful; mindful of the home and its occupants. I will definitely be using his services again.

I had several malfunctioning lights, outdoor and indoor. I also wanted to have some of my light fixtures replaced/updated. I called Tommy Electric ( chosen because of the excellent reports on Angie's List) and he responded and was at my home the same day to give me an estimate for the work. He actually advised me not to do some of the "cosmetic" light fixture replacements I was having him estimate to be done, so right then I knew he must be honest and not going to take me for all he could get! He ended up replacing two garage lights, front porch light, and two flood lights to backyard. I now have the best lighting at a great price! He was very reasonable in his pricing. He was professional and helpful. When I bought the wrong light fixtures for the back yard and garage, he bought the right kind for me ( at a fee, but reasonable).

I live in midtown so they knew how to work on old houses without causing damage to the walls or ceilings. Punctual, nice, very fair pricing and quality work. On my speed dial now!

We had Tommy come out and fix a circuit in the kitchen that was unstable. He discovered a GFCI outlet that was so old and decrepit it fell apart in his hands when tried to unscrew it. We were getting near Thanksgiving, and I needed my kitchen fully functional. Although he couldn't get to our bigger job that day, he went ahead and got me back in business in the kitchen. I felt that perhaps all the outlets in the kitchen needed replacing, but he told me they were fine and just went with this one. He could have oversold me, but chose to be honest. I always appreciate that. Our next job was to install some shop lights and additional circuitry in the garage. We'll be building a power tool work area and wanted each tool on its own circuit. Tommy found the perfect low-profile lights for our space and installed them quickly. He added the new light switch to an existing switchbox and then placed a double switch cover over them both. It looks really good. The three new circuits are not very glamorous. What can one say about an outlet plug-in? But, we are thrilled with them because by having each machine on its own circuit, we will avoid potential problems in the future. Tommy was pleasant and professional. His level of communication is excellent. While we were planning this work, his truck got stolen, which seriously impacted his ability to work, as you might imagine He kept us informed about his progress in getting back to work. Then, he had to search a little bit to find the right fixtures for the garage. He let us know what was going on, and when he was ready to move ahead, we chose a mutually beneficial time, and he was punctual, and got the job done quickly and efficiently. For great, professional service, we were charged significantly less than the first estimate we got from another supplier. And that first bid didn't include the kitchen repair! We typically don't have a lot of electrical work, but you can bet that when we do, Tommy's our guy.

It went very well. I was impressed with the skill level. Everything was performed as contracted. I would consider hiring Tommy again to do any electrical work at my home.

The folks at Tommy Electric are great. They let me shadow them while they were working and answered all my questions about the work they were doing. They offered suggestions as to what I should get done in the future and how much it might run me. Overall, they are great to work with and friendly to have in the house.

I called Tommy late on Friday afternoon. In an effort to spare me a service charge he provided me with some problem solving tips to try before he came. He instructed me to call him on Saturday morning if the "easy fixes" did not work. Suffice it to say I had to call him on Saturday morning. The fix was relatively simple for someone with Tommy's experience. It required removing a wire from the existing fan wiring harness; the art was in knowing which wire to remove. Tommy is very personable, as well as punctual and professional.

I contacted Tommy to schedule the installation of our new light fixture. He was able to come out a couple of hours after I called him to my delight! Tommy installed the fixture in less than an hour.
