+ 0 moreIt was the absolute worst experience. I had glass tabletops lost, as well as other glass items. They were probably stolen because they were expensive.
Description of Work: Do not use this company to move your household goods!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These people stored my household items with other people's items They lost many valuable things and had no storage system at all. When I moved into my new house, many of my things had been lost. This was the most horrible experience ever.

+ -1 moreIt was a horrible experience. They broke things. The price wasn’t the best, but it was reasonable. It’s a small moving company. They had to pack me. They bickered with each other. They bought one truck it was not enough. The whole experience was very stressful. They bought stuff that we told them not to bring. They left stuff they were asked to bring. I have not called them to tell them all this stuff is ruined. The initial talk he was very nice, and we’ll take care of you. It just did not turn out that way. I have not called them to say these things are broke what are you going to do. I have not given them a chance to respond.
Description of Work: We hired Thoroughbred Moving & Storage to move us.

Description of Work: Thoroughbred Moving and Storage moved my stepdaughter from her apartment in Memphis to a house in Indiana. Thoroughbred Moving and Storage saved the day ( and my hide). We were in a crisis situation, because a different company had stood us up on the day of our move. I contacted Thoroughbred at 9:30 in the morning when we discovered that not only were our original movers late, they weren't coming at all, because they had not found a truck to add our stuff to. At the last minute,Thoroughbred was able to coordinate an immediate move to vacate the apartment and then store my stepdaughter's things while arranging the move to Indiana. The movers who emptied the apartment were With the apartment vacated, she was able to proceed to Indiana and set up everything there in preparation for the movers arrival. I was thrilled that Thoroughbred arrived in Indiana on time, calling in advance of their arrival. My stepdaughter noted that the movers making the delivery were incredibly pleasant and a joy to work with. Thoroughbred was prompt and provided top-notch communication. At first, I reviewed Thoroughbred Moving & Storage's pricing and decided to go with a less expensive option. I thought it would be okay to add our things to a truck full of other people's items, in order to get it to Indiana on the cheap (not that cheap), using the other company. That having been a disastrous choice, if given the choice again, I would have chosen Thoroughbred Moving & Storage which gave me my own dedicated movers and truck. I actually joined Angie's List solely for the purpose of rewarding Dave and Thoroughbred with a great review. So essentially, I paid 20 bucks to share this information and prevent anyone else from going through our nightmare and instead enjoy the pleasure of working with Thoroughbred and Dave.

+ -1 moreOverall they did a good job and they got the stuff in in the amount of time they said they would and the price was reasonable. We moved into a new house and they scuffed up some walls and that did cause somc problems here. I chose to use them because of the reviews on their website. They might has scrapped up the floors too but the walls were the main problem and I don't want to blame them more than they deserve. Talking to them on the phone and arranging all of this was very professional and handled well. There were no issues there They were on time. Overall lI would give them a B. On the phone they were very professional. I would use this company again.
Description of Work: I used thoroughbred Moving and Storage to unload a pod for me. It cost a few hundred dollars but I don't remember exactly
