Description of Work: They were able to clean and repair my locks (6 total) Three entries each with interior and exterior security door. When I contacted other service providers, I was told that they probably needed to be replaced at a cost of about 149 a lock, plus service call, and labor. |Stewart Bros. immediately to;d me that probably just needed cleaning. They cleaned locks, adjusted the pneumatic on security doors, and adjusted the mount brackets to keep the interior doors from creeping closed. |Russell was absolutely great, friendly but professional, knowledgeable, dependable, and a complete pleasure to deal with. |But, what would you expect from a local, independent, family owned company with a 100 plus years in business

He told us that he will get back with us and then disappeared for several days. Finally I had to call Stewart bros to find out where he is.He showed up after a few days. We work further on narrowing down the parts we will need. He then left saying that he will send an email. Email came by after few days with an estimate. As soon as I started asking him if I can order parts from internet.He sent a quote cancellation and said and quot;he cannot spent any more time on this.and quot;

+ -1 moreStore associates did not greet me at all while in store. Store was not busy. Cashier never asked if I found everything I was looking for. She only wanted to see the price on the leaf rake. After I paid for it, she never thanked me for buying the item or come shop with them in the future. While I was about to leave, she turned to talk with another associate about personal stuff. I could have easily bought the leaf rake at Home Depot, Lowe's, Sears, or Wal-Mart. However , I was willing to pay a premium for better service and support a local business.
