Description of Work: They typically do the work they are paid to do, and I have had a problem only once. I asked them to come and re-treat some spots with where weeds popped up. I had to call again in about a week because it had not been done. | |I have some bare spots in my lawn, and I was wanting more information about what was causing them and what I could do about them. The only information I would get was that they were there, they treated, and I should water in before mowing.

 + 0 moreAfter the last treatment, I noticed that we were gradually getting a lot of crabgrass in the front yard. I called them to request a retreatment. I was told that they do not retreat for free if it had been more than 30 days since the last treatment. It had been 32 days. They wanted to come out and charge us for a full treatment. I was on hold for quite some time while they talked to a manager , and then was cut off. I called back and was given the and quot;Sorry, we have policies we have to follow.and quot; We dropped them the same day.
Description of Work: We have used Southern Spray for weed control for a number of years. They have performed adequately, although they are somewhat pushy if you don't want their standard number of treatments.

 + 0 moreChase is our service tech and he calls before each arrival to ensure I have secured the dog inside the house. I have asked that they pay extra attention to securing the gate when they depart. Our yard looks great, no weeds! The price is the best I have found. Chase is professional and courteous and provides a statement of the treatment provided after each visit and instructions for care and watering. We are still awaiting to have our lawn aeration completed.
Description of Work: I received multiple bids for service and switched from a different competitor due to pricing. Southern Spray provides 8 treatments on our yard per year.

 + -1 moreMy husband worked with them. We have just started with them recently and everything is fine now. So far, everything is so good. The reason that I chose them was just because other yards look so great so I asked who they use and that was how I got their name. We pay them for a whole year and they charge like $35 a treatment and I believe that there are seven treatments in a year. We have not had any issues that they needed to respond to.
Description of Work: The last time that we used Southern Spray Co. was probably about a month ago for the weed treatment of our lawn.

 + 0 morePunctual and responsive and cost effective. Usually communication via emails work best with them. We have an annual contract with them. The only reason for B on quality is because we are yet to see complete control over weeds and it may well be due to fact that we havent completed all seven applications yet. Will need to provide another update here later this year on quality of weed control.

Description of Work: We used Southern Spray for years. Gradually our lawn started to die. Eventually we lost all our grass. In May 2012 we had dead grass and a scattering of weeds. I called to let them know, and I told them I was canceling because of this. Their response was "oh, OK." I frustration I sent an email with pictures which did prompt a visit to look at the lawn. Their response was a lot of yards in your neighborhood look like this. They don't. There were no offers to rectify the situation. For 18 months nothing grew in my yard it was pure mud. Only exception was an area that was adjacent to my neighbors yard. Would not use them again.

 + -1 moreI've been using Southern Spray Company for 18 years on a regular basis. I had to teach the guy who came to spray at my house what not to spray because he killed some plants. The company itself did not respond and the only reason I kept them was because of the professionalism of the guy who was spraying. He was very apologetic. After that incident the service was perfect but they changed personnel and I noticed last week that some plants had died.

Description of Work: I used Southern Spray Co for pest control and landscaping. They are on regular basis. They come here every three or four weeks. I pay $47 per visit. They fertilize the lawn.

 + -1 moreI've been using Southern Spray for about 18 months. I don't have a yearly contract so they call every six weeks or so to confirm another treatment. The one time had a complaint (the borders of the flower beds were knocked out of place, the bill left in the wrong location) the company was apologetic and responsive. And my lawn looks great.

We now have one of the best lawns in the neighborhood. We have referred Southern Spray to another one of our neighbors and they are very satisfied with the service also.

 + -1 moreSouthern Spray Company even had terrible customer service. My shrubs looked terrible because they failed to find or inform me that there was a fungus problem with them. My lawn is dying in the back. When I talked to them about it, they treated me poorly. I am finished with them.

 + -1 moreWe had a yearly contract with this company, but they also did service calls. They did an excellent job in their application of fertilizer and weed control. There weren t any weeds and the lawn looked good. They left us a report on what was done if we were not at home.
