 + -1 moreOn 8/25 I finally changed out my inside unit because the air still was not cooling well. The tech that I had to change out my unit stated that the evap coil had a slow leak in it and was running down into the air handling compartment from a rust hole. This should have been something that was located by the tech from Rice Heat/Air Co., if he'd have looked a the inside unit, but was not.
Description of Work: My a/c had not been cooling very well. At the recommendation of a co-worker, on 7/14/06, I contacted Rice Heat/Air Co. The tech came to my house and was there maybe a whole of 12 minutes and was done. He stated that the unit was low on freon. He advised he injected about 2 lbs of freon. No other comments were made of the unit. I received a statement for $154 about 2 weeks later.

 + -1 moreRice Heating Company installed our new air conditioner in about two hours. The new air conditioner works great, we have not had any issues with it or with the installation that was done. Rice Heating Company took our old air conditioner with them, so we didn't have to worry about disposing it.
Description of Work: Rice Heating Company installed a new air conditioner in our home and also removed the old one.

 + -1 moreRice Heating Company did a very good job installing the new unit. They were very professional and courteous. They also cleaned up after themselves very well. I was impressed that they showed up right on time. I thought there prices were a little bit high, but the quality made it worth it.
