Description of Work: Very prompt call back and knowledge of the subject. His referral to local contractor was great. Contractor filled the need and answered all the questions I had.

Description of Work: The appraisal service on an art collection was conducted by Molinaro Appraisal Services, LLC located in Lexington, VA. The entire effort took about two months to complete and resulted in a comprehensive report that is excellent and would be very useful should an insurance claim be required in the future. The cost was very competitive. The company in Lexington has my recommendation for such work and will be used in the future. |

Description of Work: After specifying what type of appraiser I needed, I was referred to a woman who took 2 wks to get back to me and say she did not do my type of appraisal. She referred me to someone else who also took a wk to get back to me and say she did not do antique music box appraisls either. I still have not found an appraiser. Very disappointed.

Description of Work: Spent quality time with me explaining the do's and donts, what to expect and what not to accept. He went the extra mile by giving me referrals with contact numbers. Very professional and ended by offering me addition assistance if needed. I would highly recommend.

Description of Work: I called New England Appraisals and the call was answered on the try. I asked the gentleman for appraisers in my area for some bronze items and an old picture. All he told me was to go online and gave me web address for about 4 web sites. He said for me to look in the past sales of these places and I would probably find the same items. Do you know how many items are listed for example bronze flatware just on one site. Thousands! Yes Thousands! I spent hours on the first site that I was told was the best. I gave up and didn't go to any of the other sites. What I asked for was an appraiser that could actually look at the items. I had told him just the flatware was close to 100 years old. All I saw on the web site was the same ones over and over. You could not put in kind of filter to reduce the quantity of items. I have since gone through the yellow pages and pick an appraiser. I spoke with an employee 10/6/14 and they are to call back this week when the owner returns with an appointment. Wish me luck. I hope I can get some information without paying very much.
