They responded promptly, were courteous and found the problem. Then they wanted to charge me $8,000 to dig it up and repair. I expected this to be a large project and expensive, but this was over the top. I got a second quote from Conway for $5,600 for the exact same procedure. We went with Conway who were also prompt and courteous. Problem solved.

Came immediately on a Saturday to repair a burst pipe. Their willingness to promptly provide service on the week-ends is includedin their price, thus, they are a little more expensive than others. Chris was young but very professional and knowledgeable.

They came the same day. The guy was nice and friendly. Did the job quick. Explained how to take routine care of my drain.

We woke up this morning and had no hot water in the house. My husband went upstairs and noticed the pan was full at the hot water heater. He called at 7:30 a.m. and spoke to Annie. She was very polite and gave us an approximate time someone would be here. The service man, Marcus Saari called and said he was on the way. He arrived promptly and gave immediate attention to the problem explaining to my husband. He actually put shoe covers on his shoes so as to not get the rug dirty while working. He was very profession, polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. Marcus should be appraised for his expertise. When he left, he showed my husband all his work and asked if we needed anything else done. It took approximately 4 hours. A job well done for Marcus. Please let his company know we will use them again and ask for him. This is my 4th time for using Angie's list and I am really pleased. It went fine. I think they were comparable to other places. The only thing, on our toilet, they kind of scraped them. I didn’t even call them back because what are they going to do about them. It’s not that big of a deal. They should have seen that and know that they scratched it.

I think it went pretty much okay. He kind of left a little mess behind in the bathroom and I needed to clean that up. I had to have him come back and redo the outside drain pipe because it was above the ground level and I was afraid somebody would trip over it. I think he was punctual and he responded to the problem.

Well... I called yesterday (3/10/14) to setup an appointment for today (3/11/14). I was told that someone should be at my home somewhere late morning to early afternoon. It's now 6:36pm and no plumber. Very disappointing. I took off most of a day of work for a no show. As a matter of fact, I had to keep calling to check the status. No one even bothered to let me know the technician was running behind or if some emergency came up with the technician. They had their one and only chance. Mr. Rooter, you blew this customer off. Never mind...

It went well. Showed up on time, performed the job in a timely manner; offered to look at other problems areas. Very nice young man. Would definitely use Mr. Rooter again.

Had to make a couple of trips due to additional items being identified. They were punctual and great to work with.

This was visit #2 from these folks and we really appreciated it. Both times they did some outside work in the extreme cold here in Memphis in January. Both visits were at Lynn's barn, and not only did they not complain even once, they had had experiences in the past that made them the perfect team for our needs. They were on time, very friendly and took care of what we needed. I will continue to rely on these folks as we still have more that needs to be done!! Thanks.

beautiful job on faucet...not so much on the hot water.....great job on the hot water now! They came and inspected my plumbing and all was well.....they came back at my request on a problem and helped me out.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Memphis had to dig a hole deeper than their head and it took about eleven hours to complete the work. I would rate them the highest I could. They were excellent. They were prompt and professional. I would definitely use them again.

Chris arrived a bit earlier than planned and got right to work - which was absolutely no problem. The office called me in plenty of time to let me know he was on his way. With the help of an assistant they swapped out two 50 gallon water heaters (including new drain pans), reworked the roof venting of one of the heaters - including outside work on the roof to rework the flashing - and then rebuilt and reinstalled a toilet while waiting for the water heaters to get up to temperature so they could verify everything was working as it should. Chris and his assistant left the house a bit less than 7 hours later with the house as neat and clean as it was before they got here. Chris was excellent in communicating and very detail oriented... right down to ensuring the reinstalled toilet was clean and shiny. Pricing was around $1300 per heater, around $350 for the vent work, and $250 for rebuilding and reinstalling the toilet. I was also able to use 2 of the Angie's list coupons to knock $50 off each water heater installed.for a grand total = $3100 after the coupons.

The plumber was really good. They were on time and they know what they were doing. They got the job done and left.

We have used them on multiple occasions and have always been satisfied with their work. They are professional, prompt, and they do great work. I was really getting frustrated when the leak detection company couldn't find the leak but Jeff handled everything beautifully. As a matter of fact, he's coming back today to help with a leaky sink. I will always use this company for my plumbing issues. Thanks Jeff!

After our pipes busted, we jumped on Angie's List and made appointments with several plumbing services. Tammy, with Mr. Rooter called back within minutes. Her empathy for our situation was welcoming. We scheduled the appointment and the following week Bob, the technician, came in to inspect our problem. Upon approach, Bob was not only professional, but was a nice guy as well. We felt very comfortable with him in our home. Bob assessed the problem, explained in detail what happened, and explained what he needed to do to fix our pipes. During this process, Bob communicated with us every step of the way. In the interim of him working on our pipes, Andy, the Manager, did a quality call to be sure we were being serviced well. Wow! My husband and I were astonished at the quality of services that Mr. Rooter was providing. This quality assurance eased our overall stresses of this situation. Bob fixed the pipes, did a quality inspection of each faucet to be sure all water was running well, and gave us the reassurance that the job had been completed. Since we stayed in our home during this process, Bob gave us some advice which we will never forget. He is just a nice guy. We are so pleased with Bob, Andy, Tammy, and Mr. Rooter's overall care and services we plan to use them again. We have other small plumbing issues in which we will use their services moving forward. They gave us fair pricing, great service, and great customer satisfaction. We look forward to continued service with Mr. Rooter.

Great job! Did what he promised, when he promised it, for the price he promised it. Couldn't be more pleased. Cheaper would have been better of course but then you have the fear of "getting what you pay for!"

Would definitely use them again. No problems whatsoever. They just did what I asked them to do in a very quick and professional manner.

Everything went well. They had to go and pick up some parts, since the faucet came with the house 60+ years ago. But they got the job done. I'd definitely call them again if I should need them in the future.
