Mr Rooter Plumbing of Memphis

I made an appointment for 3:30 in the afternoon since that was the latest appointment available. I was still required to take a half day off of work in order to be home to meet the tech. I had to leave the office at 2:30 in order to get home on time. At 3:30 he wasn't there, at 4pm he wasn't there, at 4:30 I called an asked where he was. At 5:30 he still wasn't there and I needed to be someplace by 6. Unlike my tardy plumber, I left and made my appointment on time. At about 6:30 the plumber called and asked where I was. In all, I wasted a half day of paid vacation and 3 and half hours on a company that doesn't value its customer's time. I will never again use Angies list or this company again.

Everything they did was awesome! Lovely people to do business with.

Another great job by Mr. Rooter. We had Bob come out and give our water heater a look. Saw water in the pan, it is old and in the attic and didn't want to take any chances. Bob has been doing this a while, it's nice to have his experience on the job. So it was done. Perhaps if it was in the garage we would let it go till it gave out, but not in the attic. Friday afternoon, and Mr Rooter still sent out a new water heater as Bob prepared the old one for removal. Bennet and Antonio brought the new one out, carried it up and the old one out. They got on the roof, worked the new pipe through the hole and did a real nice job caulking it so it wouldn't leak. The thing I like about this company is they are all so cordial. Very nice to talk to and they all take time to answer your questions or just chat with you. Never did I feel like they were rushing to finish the job to go home or move on to the next job. I know these guys out there for their job, trying to make a buck, but you feel like you have a friend over to fix your plumbing issue.

We had a non-emergency leak in our toilet tank. We called Mr. Rooter at approximately 9:30am on a Monday morning. Cindy in the office answered and was extremely professional and friendly. She said she could have a technician out to our house in a couple of hours and that she would call back between 11:00am and 1:00pm. Cindy called us back at 1:00pm and said Kevin would be arriving at our house in about 15 minutes. Kevin did arrive shortly and immediately laid a mat outside our door to wipe his feet on and he also wore protective slippers to protect our floors (very impressive!). Kevin immediately diagnosed our problem and fully explained what was needed for the repair. He answered all of our questions in great detail and gave us a price. Within one hour he was finished and the final price was exactly what he had quoted us. He also answered many other questions we had about other possible projects we may wish to have done. Kevin is a total professional with a warm personality. We will definitely request him in the future. We are very pleased with the service we received from both Cindy and Kevin at Mr. Rooter.

I received a call from Mr. Rooter to let me know a technician was available and what his name was. When Ty arrived, he inspected the toilet to find the problem and gave me an estimate of what the job would cost and what it entailed. However, when he had removed it, he found that the connector was broken and needed to be replaced, which was more costly and required more time. (he had warned me that this might be a possibility once he got the toilet removed). He got the work done in a timely manner, keep me apprised of the repair he was doing and cleaned up everything after he was finished. (even wiped the bathroom floor!).

It was done really well. He was a big help in explaining everything to me and showing everything to me.

I attempted to use the "Schedule now" function through Angie's list. I received a response that they would contact me soon but received no call or further messages on Angie's list. I called them directly and they were able to send someone over right away the same day I called but did not seem to know about the Angie's List request. The plumber was proffesional and polite and worked quickly and cleanly. Proce was high for a drain clog but I would use them again because of the their professionalism and rapid response. I think this provider is not actually set up to do an Angie's list request for service, but I am not sure.

They were great. They were very nice and professional. They made sure that they put things down on the floor before they worked on anything. All around, they were great.

A provider experienced in Irrigation systems seems to have corrected the problem for now.

I called them and they coordinated with our renters with no issues. Thats not easy to do either. They were very courteous to my renters. We had a water leak in our rental house from one of the upstairs bathrooms. They came out and identified the problems (both a drain problem and a faucet problem), fixed the drain right then and returned the following business day with a replacement faucet. I hate to have anyone work on my houses but because I was not there in Memphis but in Dallas I had to. It went a lot better than I had expected. The only thing I would have liked was to know what was wrong before they fixed it but it was well within the terms we agreed on so they just took care of it. I called them later and got the details of what was wrong and fixed. I had questions about the bill and they answered them and it made sense. They even pulled the GPS history from the van that was sent to do the work to verify how long the guy was at the house and travel time. Very fair on all of it. I will call them again if something else needs fixed.

Mr. Rooter did a fantastic job for me. I had a broken water line underneath my driveway between the meter and the house. They came out and explained the problem in detail, discussed my options, and answered all my questions. In the end, they helped me decide on the option that would permanently resolve my problem by laying an entirely new line with plex pipe. They only had to tear up a small portion at the top of the driveway, and they worked very neatly and made sure they did not destroy any part of the driveway or my yard outside of just where they needed to work. They always communicated with me every step of what they were doing and the timeframe for completion. I have nothing but great compliments for Mr.Rooter and the guys who came out to do the work. Very professional and very skilled at their job!

Mr. Rooter was easy to work with, from scheduling to job completion. The company had no issues scheduling quickly, and I liked the binder of information the technician had on hand to explain pricing and other details. My technician, Chris, seemed very personable and honest. He worked diligently, and completed all work in a timely manner. The company doesn't seem to have bargain pricing, but you get what you pay for. I enjoyed working with Chris & Mr. Rooter, and am very happy with the end result.

They explained a lot of information and helped in trying to give me the best deal with a plan. I used my coupon from Angie's List. They made everything simple and easy to understand. I think it was the price that made me go with this company.

Overall a truly outstanding experience, there is no doubt that I will strongly consider Mr. Rooter for my next bathroom project. Initially contacted Mr. Rooter for an estimate on purchase and installation of a Noritz tankless water heater. I left a message for Andy and received a quick call back. Found Andy to be professional, patient, and knowledgeable. The rough estimate from Andy for the work turned out to be about 20% lower than the ultimate proposal and subsequent work. Mr. Rooter (based on other rough estimates that I received) seems to be somewhat on the expensive side, but I can?t imagine a more professional group of people to work with. Was able to schedule a visit for the estimate the next morning and Bob arrived on schedule. Bob was another true professional with over 20 years of plumbing experience. He was patient with a number of questions regarding the installation. Spent a total of about an hour and a half covering the installation process in detail. A proposal was prepared and I decided to proceed with the work. A small complaint that the proposal did not itemize the cost of the Noritz, the installation materials, and the labor separately. To be fair, I did not ask Bob for a breakdown, I will the next time I use them. I was able to schedule the install the next morning and everything went extremely well. Bob and an assistant were on schedule and prepared to work with everything they needed. They spent a total of about 6 hours on the install. They were very conscious of removing all waste from the work and left the space cleaner when they left than when they arrived. A truly professional job. I could not be happier with this my first experience with Mr. Rooter. Overall a great experience. I doubt that I will use another plumbing service in Germantown. Keep up the great work.

I’ve used them couple of times. When we had an emergency, they were very accommodating and they showed up very quickly when they said they would. I like that I had a membership card or discount card that they sold. When we bought the discount membership, it immediately paid for itself by giving us a discount on some of the supplies and services. Then we used it again the next time they came out. I didn’t think the price was over in the first place. I don’t think they jacked the price up initially so they can give us a discount and back then the normal price was a dollar and the thing like that was going to help.

Problem was fixed. Service provided was fine.

Mr. Rooter was incredibly expensive. Will NEVER use them again...

They were very good. They did a good job. They're prompt and reliable, what else do you want, right?

Just inspected the source of the problem and gave an unreasonably high price bid to fix the loose faucet. We ended up doing it ourselves for 1/3 of the proposed cost.

Technician explained he sent a camera into drain line to ensure there were no other problems other than a clog. After checking for any additional problems he cleaned out drain and installed a clean out plug so that MLGW will provide clean out if needed in the future.

It was okay but it wasn’t great. They were very nice because I didn’t think they did enough and then the owner came out himself so it was fine. At first, I thought it was too much money just for the inspection but then when he came out and fixed the leak or something that I had then I appreciated that. The work turned out fine. They came out quickly.

He was professional, knowledgeable and good at what he did. The work was awesome and the price was good.

Everything went great - he came the same day I called & found the problem quickly. He had to do some digging to get all the way down to the source of the leak & the repair turned out to be cheaper than what he had originally thought. Fixed within an hour or so of arrival.

They were great, I would give them as many stars or whatever you could give them because they're wonderful. They're very professional and they did an absolutely wonderful job. They did awfully everything perfectly. They even went above and beyond on a bunch of stuff that all the others were like, "Oh yeah, you could do this yourself" They even have scheduled the, you forgot the holiday then and you have to have it actually scheduled for the city to come out and do the inspection afterwards, they even had that set up for us and everything. Everybody else is like, "Yeah, you have to schedule that by yourself." They're like, "Nope, we will have that set up for you" They even registered warranties first. I remember they came in better than some others but a little more expensive than others but with extra services they did, it was well worth it.
