Description of Work: I recently purchased a c. 1952 home and during the home inspection, the hot water heater was flagged as something that would need to be replaced soon. The gas-fired 40 gallon tank was located in a small closet and with the new federal regulations, we would not be able to replace another 40 gallon tank in the same space. Our goal was two-fold - everything must be up to current code standards, and the new unit must be reliable and energy efficient. | |After reviewing the plumber evaluations on Angie's List I chose Mr. Rooter. Kevin Britt and his crew designed and implemented the relocation and installation of our state-of-the-art Noritz tankless, digital readout hot water heater in our attic. We had to: run a new (code required larger diameter pipe...) gas line, re-route water lines, have new exhaust and intake vents installed, and install a dedicated electrical source (Ellendale Electric did a great job). The job took two days, and Kevin and his crew were courteous and always responsive to any questions or requests we had. The Noritz has a 5 year workmanship/parts guarantee, and the tank is guaranteed for 12 years (I'm recalling this from memory...) oh and I almost forgot - the energy savings - we can tell a difference already. WE ARE VERY HAPPY IN EAST MEMPHIS.

Description of Work: Came to fix clogged kitchen sink. Spent 6 1/2 hours running their snakes down a couple of different drains in the house in from the basement. It seemed clearing the first clog moved the clog further along in our old cast iron pipes. But they stayed with it, solved the problem, and the price for all the work was quite reasonable.

Description of Work: Cleared a clogged drain pipe. I thought the service provided was very expensive for the service provided and the short time the the technician actually spent clearing the drain. Even allowing for a typical $80-$90 service call charge, they charged over $100 for a 10 minute job. They operate on a flat fee for different services.

Description of Work: Marcus arrived promptly, installed a new water heater, ran plumbing for a new wet bar, and adjusted the plumbing in the kitchen for a new sink, dishwasher, and ice maker. He returned in August to install the two sinks, two faucets, and a garbage disposal. He was very professional, very courteous, and very good. I would recommend this service provider.

Description of Work: They performed a aqua-flush on my home laundry/kitchen pipes. The pipes were total impacted and were extremely slow in draining, after the aqua-flush was performed the washer and kitchen sink drained like they were new.

Description of Work: The seals on the toilets in both bathrooms were worn out. He replaced both seals and re-caulked the toilets. They looked better when he was through than they did the day I moved in.

Description of Work: I purchased a $69 Big Deal for a 5 Point Toilet Tune-up + Whole House Plumbing Inspection. If I recall correctly I wasn't that impressed with the work they wanted to do. All it took was taking a snake to the drain, but they wanted to charge me an astronomical amount more. The $69 really just covered the inspection. I wouldn't recommend them.
