Danny's crew did a fantastic job,when remodeling a house you learn who the good and not so good contractors are. Danny's crew was exceptionally clean, always on time, and did everything right the first time. I thought his prices were vary fair and he provided constant communication throughout the process. From the initial contact till the projects end it was a professional operation. The quote for services was detailed completely showing all jobs to be performed. The employees who did the actual work were professional, skilled, and trust worthy. Never felt any compunction about leaving them alone in our home. Quality of workmanship and attention to detail were A-1. All work was done in an very timely manner, there was no lag and no waiting for the workers to show. To recap, their work is well worth the cost, they are skilled, they are very respectful of your home and you. Absolutely need to check with Mid South Flooring if you are considering any hardwood job.

My husband and I spent weeks looking at flooring samples and getting estimates from suppliers, installers, etc.. Then we called Danny, from Mid South Flooring. He talked with us about what color and type of flooring we were looking for. He brought flooring samples to our house that not only fit our budget, but also were the specific color and texture we had been searching for. I truly appreciated that he offered a turn key service (flooring & installation). The installers were prompt and did an excellent job installing the flooring. Working with Mid South Flooring was an first-rate experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for flooring.

Danny came out, gave me an estimate and a time line and followed it without exception. He was very accomodating and informative.Mid-South Flooring installed a hardwood floor in my office. I must say that the work was labor intensive, but the workers did a fantastic job. They arrived on the promised date, at the promised time for the four days of service. The gentlemen moved all furniture out of the room and when finished moved the furniture back, set up my computer station and connected all electrical components. I was very satisfied with the punctuality and the professionalism of all involved, and yes I will use them again as well as recommend their services to others.

Very easy to deal with and most helpful throughout the process of choosing, buying and installing the hardwood floors. Installers showed up on time and the install was seamless, quick and professionally done. Stairs were stained to match the flooring and looked very good. Would highly recommend Danny and MId-South Flooring and would use them again. As with all contracts, be sure everything to be done is in writing.

I would definitely use them again, and plan to next year when we replace the carpet in our bedrooms with hardwood floors. They did a GREAT job and my floors look amazing! There were a few picky things that I had them come back and touch up after the installation was complete. Patrick did a great job addressing those issues and I'm really, really happy. The crew that installed the floors were great. They worked hard and did a really good job, and they also did a great job cleaning up every day when they left. It was nice not to have to worry about dragging the old carpeting to the curb for pickup - they took care of everything. For the most part, they came when they said they were going to be at the house, and worked all day - including a Saturday. Danny returned my initial inquiry promptly and met with us to take measurements for an estimate and advise us on the pros and cons of various flooring options within 3 days of my phone call to him. Overall, we are very pleased and I would highly recommend them to anybody looking for hardwood floors. My neighbor is a retired contractor, and he is very picky and had worked with Danny and MSF in the past on several different jobs, and thought very highly of them. I'm glad I took his advice!

We got estimates from 2 different companies and decided to go with Mid-South Flooring due to the personal/professional contact with Danny Bernard, Jr. Danny always returned calls, answered questions and was on site two different occasions, during this week long process. Often contractor/projects run overtime, Danny said that they would start on a Monday and finish by the end of the week and if necessary work on Saturday to finish. Our flooring was finished in 5 days and touch up painting was done the following Monday. No subcontractors! Danny personally knows his crews and their expertise .Each crew started first thing in the morning and were some of the most professional, cleanest groups of workers that I have encountered with different housing projects. There were different crews every day, but each one introduced himself and answered any questions. and explained what they were going to do. Not only did they come on time, but they took the appropriate amount of time for lunch breaks. Sometimes workers leave for lunch and you wonder if they are ever coming back. I had been dreading this project due to the fact that I had heard about the dust and general disarray of moving everything out and clean up, but I was pleasantly surprised. Each crew cleaned up after they finished everyday. and although the floors were sanded, dust was kept to a minimal with their vacuum system. I would highly recommend Mid-South Flooring for any project and could not be more pleased with the complete package. l

We visited many showrooms and brought home many samples. Part of the problem we had with locating a product was the different information we were receiving from providers when it came to using hardwood on a slab foundation. We wanted a wider plank glue-down floor, but some suppliers said we couldn?t glue down on a slab, some said if we did we had to use solid wood, some said we could glue engineered. The contradictory information was very confusing. After much research and interviewing, consensus was that we COULD glue down engineered hardwood on a slab. We also learned we did not have to do some sort of waterproof coating, because the type of glue used created a barrier between the wood and any slab moisture. Thus, after many months of research, we finally found a couple products we liked from 2 different dealers, and we got bids. A friend recommended Mid South Flooring, so we called for an appointment, because they don?t have a showroom. Danny Benard, owner of Mid South Flooring, came to the house with samples, and from his samples, which he left for a few days, we were able to choose the flooring we wanted. We got 2 bids?from him and a supplier of a different floor. We chose Mid South Flooring for a few reasons: 1. Danny was the owner but also knew about installation and had ?control? over the installers. It?s always good to work with the owners, in my opinion. 2. Mid South Flooring had a couple options of floors we liked that could be glued down?prefinished, handscraped engineered hardwood and unfinished engineered hardwood that had a thicker layer that could be refinished in the future. Danny gave us a bid for both options, with the timeframe extended by a few days for unfinished and our having to have everything out of the bottom floor. For that reason and the slightly longer timeframe and higher cost, we chose the prefinished material. 3. Danny was punctual, had great knowledge and explained the differences in the products and processes for installation, showed us quality products, and was very responsive in our communications with him. After we got a few more things spelled out in the contract, we signed it, emailed it back, and set a date for installation. Danny told us the name of the installation supervisor who would be working on our project. When Jody arrived?on time?he walked through to reiterate everything he had been told, which was exactly what we had told Danny, and work commenced immediately. For the living room floor, they had to use self-leveling concrete, but felt the patchwork from demolishing the tile of the previous floor was sufficient. The entire bottom floor of the house, about 1200 sq ft, except for kitchens and bathrooms, was finished in 4 days, including the stair landing that had to have un-engineered hardwood installed and finished so the risers would match, because prefinished planks cannot be made into risers. Patrick, the finish carpenter (?), handled all the finer work, including staining the landing, and resolved a few little problems we noted. We would recommend Mid South Flooring and use them again if we had wood flooring work. We felt their prices were very reasonable and their work was excellent.

We are thrilled with the results! Patrick told us he had never seen a floor with gaps like ours. I am so happy we called this company!

Fantastic company to work with. Responded quickly, provided detailed estimates, made recommendations, professional, and got the job done in 7 days! A relief since everything had to be moved out of the house (including us). Price was low to comparable to other estimates we got. Their price included things like dust containment that other companies were charging extra for. Floors are beautiful and we receive so many compliments. Would definitely hire again!

I was very pleased with them. I would recommend them to others. The cleanup was great and they even cleaned the saw dust out of my grass when they were making cuts. They got the job done in a couple of days. When Lowe’s messed up he stepped in and was willing to come in during the middle of the job and finish it and I really appreciated that.

We had hardwood floors that were in really bad shape. I initially considered replacing them, but I was told it would be cheaper to refinish them if possible. I contacted a couple of different vendors and ultimately decided to go with Bill. I am absolutely in love with our floors now that they were refinished. Bill is ridiculously knowledgeable about hardwood floors. His team was extremely professional. I would recommend using him again.

They were very professional. What they told us in terms of how long it would take for the entire job and how long it would take for the floors to dry were accurate in terms of actual time it took. They spend a long time with us discussing colors and what would be best coating .

They did an excellent job. They even replaced a few boards and you can't even tell. I would highly reccomend them.

It appears that our hardwood job was too small for him to be bothered as he does not follow up on questions that I had regarding the quote.

The flooring team showed up on time, did an excellent job in not only preparing but in laying the hardwood floors. They were able to match the new flooring to the existing flooring in the remainder of the house. Their team was always very professional and accommodating, we were and are extremely pleased.
