They did a great job, they were reasonably priced and they came when they said they were gonna come. I will definitely use them again.

Brian came out on 3/27 and provided an estimate for services requested. He was very professional and the estimate was extremely competitive. I called and scheduled the work for 4/2/14. On the afternoon of 4/2/14, I received a phone call from Michael's informing me that they would not be able to make it that day. The gentleman said they would plan for the next day (4/3) weather permitting. On the afternoon of 4/3/14, around 2:45 PM, I received a phone call from Michael's wanting to reschedule for 4/10. After asking why they had not come today (4/3), I was informed by the caller that she was unaware that I had been told they would be there. She rescheduled for 4/10/14 with a planned arrival of 7:30 - 8:00 AM. A 4 man crew arrived on 4/10/14 at approximately 8:30 AM. The crew was professional and expediant. They worked efficiently and did a great job. They cleaned up all debris. They checked my satisfaction before leaving around 11:00 AM. Overall, they did an excellent job for a great price, but the rescheduling and poor communication pulled the review down a bit.

It went well. He hauled away the trees that were cut down around my property and were left in front of house on lawn and sidewalk.

We called for an estimate and they were able to come out in about two or three days. I really appreciated the estimator; he didn't seem to be trying to upsell me at all. They were the cheapest of our three estimates, but we chose them because of they seemed honest and upfront. It was about a month before they were able to get a crew out to do the work. The crew of 3 was punctual each day and listened to all my comments about what we wanted. They took a day and half to finish the work, when the estimate was for 2 and a half days. A few of the stumps were left a little high for me, but when I asked about them, they gladly went back and took them down more (we were not getting the stumps ground as part of the service). They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves and all the debris was carried off same day. They did damage some of the stepping stones in our backyard with their truck, but when we reported the problem, they gave us no trouble about deducting the amount of the replacement stones from our bill. And they gladly gave us a 10% Angie's List discount!

All went well - looks much better. Gave us advice about treatment for an unhealthy tree in the backyard so hopefully it will survive. The estimator, tree trimmer crew, and guy who treated the sick tree were all very friendly and professional.

All employees were very professional. Work was well done. Trees were well shaped, looking clean and fresh without looking butchered. During initial visit and discussion several good recommendations were made with explanation of benefits with pricing. . Pricing was within expected amount and work was done well and yard was left clean. I was very happy with their service and will use again. Final invoice matched estimate exactly.

Basically everything went exactly by the book. I called for a quote, made the appointment and Sean arrived slightly before the agreed-upon time. Walked him through the scope of the work desired and discussed specifics. Process was straightforward & efficient. He handed me a written estimate within 15 minutes of the walk-through. Their estimate was $400 less than the competing bid I had on hand. They also offered and honored a 10% Angie's List discount which brought the total savings to $525. Their quote prior to discount was $1250. The work was actually performed at the home of a near relative and I was not there to observe the crew during services performed as I was out-of-area. The relative reported that everything went very well. Work started around 8:00 / 8:30 and was completed by 1:00. All debris was loaded and hauled off by 2:00. My inspection sometimes afterwards revealed everything was performed exactly as documented within the proposal. As an aside I also discussed disease treatment and deep root fertilization of some trees on my own property with Sean. He followed through on referring a specialist to me for the disease treatment. That estimate has been rendered and I have already approved that proposal. I will now be contacting Micheal's Tree & Loader Service in the near future to get an estimate on the deep root fertilization needs. So - Yes; I am already in the process of using them again.

When I called for a quote, they scheduled someone to come to my house the next day. About an hour before the scheduled time, they called me to say they were close to my house and could they possibly come early, which was great for me. When the gentleman arrived he was polite and professional. He walked all around my yard and listened to my concerns about three of my trees. I told him that if he saw anything he wanted to mention that I had not noticed to please just go ahead and tell me. To my pleasant surprise, he did not try and push any additional work on me. He just pointed out three trees that needed fertilizing. By the way, my yard has many, many trees. He stated they could do the fertilizing or I could do it myself. I actually chose to have them do it when they come to trim one tree and remove two trees. He made me feel good about some other trees I had been worried about. He let me know that those other trees were fine. He mentioned that they were pretty booked up and it would probably be about 6 weeks before they could schedule my work. When I called the next day to confirm that I did want them to do the job, they scheduled me for just 4 weeks out. Also, when the gentleman was here he explained in detail exactly what they would be doing and how they would be doing it. I could not have been more pleased.

The tree trimming went well, although they left the property prior to me confirming the work. They came back and finished up the small bit left to do. They had an accident which damaged some of my property. They were honest and forthright about the damage, and plan to pay for the repairs. It is a bit inconvenient that I have to accommodate all of the estimates for their repairs, but I am not sure how else it can be done. Accidents happen, so I dont hold it agains them, I would use this service again in the future.

Michael's Tree Service contacted us to let us know when they would be at our home. They arrived on time, did what they said and removed all visual evidence of their work. This is my second go with Michael's - they cut pines in my backyard in February. I was impressed then and I'm even more impressed now. The men who work for Michael's are extremely nice and agreeable. I will continue to use this company and I highly recommend them to anyone who likes work done by capable, pleasant workers who clean up beautifully. This is an absolutely great company!

Their price was the lowest. They came when they said they would and they cleaned up after themselves. The crew was friendly and respectful. They were professional and I enjoyed talking to them. They did the work within their time-frame and with the least inconvenience to me.

I called this company for a bid on tree trimming for a property with 40+ trees, located 6.5 miles from Methodist North hospital on Covington Pike. They wouldn't come out for a bid, said they don't do work in that area.

Michael's Tree Service employees were very professional, friendly, and polite. They worked in two different teams in order to accomplice all of the tree removals, raising the canopy's and thinning the rest of the trees. The estimate and the final billing were exactly the same. I would recommend this company to any of my friends.

It went great! The crew arrived on time with all of the necessary equipment. They were very professional and cleaned up the mess from the tree (including raking the leaves). They put the wood near the street and then later in the day, a truck from their company picked up the branches. The yard looked better after they left than when they arrived. The price was fair and I plan on using them in the future. I was very impressed with them and highly recommend their services.

They left part of the stump in the ground and wood chips were everywhere. They never gave me a time when they were coming. I had to hire another company to remove wood chips. Micheal's sent a worker to grind the stump down didn't do a good job. Because they left the stump, there's a big lump in my front lawn. I tried to call them a couple times but they never returned my calls. The team that took down the tree were good but the worker that grind the stump was not.

There is no way to get equipment in my back yard, so Michael's had to climb our trees and cut them down, section by section. They did an excellent job. Even my neighbors were impressed. They cleaned up nicely after the trees were down. I am most impressed with this company and will use them again if I have trees that need to be removed. Everything went well and they completed the work as described in our contract. A+++ for Michael's!

It went well. There was an issue with the terms of the invoice being different then the estimate (net 10 vs Net 30) but that was cleared up as a timing issue and resolved to my complete satisfaction. I would not hesitate to use them again and would recommend them to others.

Came when they said they would come, took down the trees and cleaned yard. Very good service. Would use this service again if we had problems in the future. Cost for this was fair. And workers were helpful with telling us what to do or not to do. next time we planted more trees.

We had a tree that looked like it was dying and MICHAEL'S TREE & LOADER SERVICE LLC came out and gave the tree some injections.They saved us $1500.00 by saving the tree and not having to have it cut down. I would give them an A rating and will use them again.

I have a large oak tree in my back yard that needed to be thinned. The limbs were overhanging the house and needed to be trimmed back. Michael's came on time and gave a fair estimate and made a knowledgable assessment of what needed to be done. The end result is a very professional trimming job that looks just as I wanted it to be.
