Lugo's Upholstery

Mr. Lugo recently reupholstered four wing chairs that have been in my family for several generations. He did a phenomenal job on all of them and paid attention to every little detail. He picked up my items and delivered them, all with the utmost professionalism. He was prompt, responsive, courteous, timely and reasonably priced. I highly recommend Mr. Lugo!

I sent pictures of the furniture to Raul Lugo. He gave me a quote and told me how much fabric to buy. Raul picked up the furniture, and returned it before the date I had requested! His work is impeccable!

Provided an estimate for the upholstery work on the phone and the amount of fabric required to complete the project. Beautiful work with a reasonable turnaround time. Highly recommend!

Lugo did an EXCELLENT job. I am notoriously hard to please, and he exceeded my expectations. My husband and I cannot find one flaw with his work. In fact, they look 10x better than when we purchased them new. Lugo put in new padding, springs and seat cushions. He then upholstered the chairs with a small stripe which matches perfectly. This was my first time reupholsteriing something and Lugo made it easy. Trust me, the price is the best - I talked to every service in town. I am so glad we didn't buy new! Have a sofa to do next!!!

I was looking for a repair for the dashboard of my car. He advised me on the impracticality of a repair and suggested a better/cheaper replacement. I respect someone who says; "I could do this, but it would be much cheaper to buy and install a carpet cover.

We have a 12 year old sectional that we loved, but wanted a different fabric. Raul was very responsive from getting us a quote quickly, steering us to several good upholstery stores and doing the work quickly. He picked up from our home and delivered when complete. Work was done ahead of schedule, as he worked hard to get it to us in time for Christmas. He fixed up the cushions and padding to make the couch look and feel as good as brand new! We could not be happier! We feel like we have a brand new couch that we will enjoy for the next 10-20 years!

Mr Lugo was a pleasure to deal with. Our chairs were picked up at our home, recovered to our specifications, and delivered afterward. All work was done within the time frame that was set. The chairs turned out beautifully! I will call Mr Lugo the next time I need upholstery work done.

They turned out beautifully. He added more stuffing to the cushions and made sure my two chairs had the pattern in identical places. He has very good attention to detail.

The work was performed beyond my satisfaction and I'm not easily pleased. When Mr. Lugo delivered the chair we were so pleased he left with a love seat that my wife wants upholstered. Would we use him again? Absolutely!

They picked up the furniture when the said they would and returned it in the time frame they quoted. I was very pleased with both pieced. The recliner was a plaid pattern and everything matched as it should and even in places that I would not have expected. The sofa was perfectly done. I would use them again without hesitation and would certainly recommend them for any project you have that you want done perfectly.

Mr. Lugo picked up and delivered the chairs to our home. They were completed weeks before I expected them back. I had selected two different fabrics for the front and back of the chair and he lined up the patterns perfectly and even lined up the covered cording directly to the pattern. I selected Raul based on his previous Angie's List reviews and he is absolutely a professional, I would recommend him to others immediately and I will definitely use him for any future projects, you will be very pleased with his service and customer focus.

He was careful to spell out in writing all of what I wanted and didn't want, what he would do and the approximate time it would take. Also quoted a price which was what the final charge was (plus tax). I had purchased a fabric with a geometric pattern. He recovered my wing back chair. He lined up the geometric pattern perfectly and did a good job on the cording using the same fabric.

Mr. Lugo did beautiful work on the chairs and the ottomans. I chose the fabric at Premier Fabrics which he recommended and although the fabric was a little more than I wanted to pay for the chairs turned out great and I couldn't be happier. He finished the job ahead of schedule by about a week and dropped off the chairs and ottomans this past Saturday. He told me that if I wanted to pick up a couple of yards more of the same fabric he would make me covers for the front of the chairs as I have two dogs that like to rub up against the furniture at times and this way they would be protected. I highly recommend him and know that he will do a wonderful job for you.

His workshop is behind his house in a garage/building. I needed my seats back in 7 days for the holiday weekend, and he said he would work overtime to get it done. Seats were completed in 5 days and looked great.

I called Mr. Lugo because of his high rating on Amgie's List. Mr. Lugo is a professional in every sense of the word. He responded to my initial inquiry immediately. He asked if I could send a photo of the furniture, which I did. He suggested two fabric shops where the prices were half of what I would have paid where I intended to go, plus the options were endless and the quality was top notch. From the photo I sent to him, he told me how much fabric to buy. Mr. Lugo picked up my furniture when he said he would, three days later. He was a joy to meet -- so polite and helpful. He obviously loves his work. In our short visit, I learned that he does most of his work for designers, but that he always enjoys meeting families and working for them. He told me that he would complete the project in about three weeks, which he did. He sent me a photo when the furniture was almost completed, just to let me know how it was going. On the scheduled date of delivery, it was raining very hard all day. He called to say he didn't want the furniture to get wet, so he would deliver the following day, which he did. The chair and ottoman are just beautiful. He matched the pattern in the seams, and he carefully placed the same design in the center of each pleat on the skirted sections. I couldn't be more pleased with the entire process and with the outcome.

We used Mr. Lugo's Upholstery for our reupholster project. Mr. Raul was very professional, friendly and a joy to work with. He quoted a price for our 6 dining room chairs and time for completion. We selected and purchased the fabric and he did the upholstering. I checked 2 others companies in the area and his price was the most reasonable. He required no deposit ; only payment in full at the completion of the job. We were very pleased with his work and would definitely use his service again.
