Great customer service on the phone and person. Very friendly and professional. They went off sale today, they didn't have them in stock at the time but Chris the manager honored the sales price. I would highly recommenced them.

Loews was very responsive and professional, and punctual. They were very patient, answered all my questions and competed very hard for my business. I got only a slightly better quote and signed with them - too late to accept the counteroffer from Lowes. The other supplier matched Lowe's counteroffer. Overall, it was a pleasant experience dealing with Lowes.

Lowe's gives you a discount if you are a vet. You just have to prove that you are, with a card or whatever. Everything they do is good, you can't complain about it.

Taking advantage of installation deals makes life a lot easier and estimating what you will spend a whole lot easier. Installation costs can be ridiculous when they start adding charges for moving furniture around, removing and disposing of old carpet, stairway installation, etc. I was able to spend more on carpet because of the installation special available.

They usually have a complete line of material. It's a clean store. They have a military discount.

The toliets were installed by Lowe's. The workers did a professional job and cleaned up after themselves.

I found a washer that we purchased for cheaper price than Sears. We got fantastic service. Everyone was very helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. You could not ask for better service. They even gave the discount price that is honored on Saturday. That is going the extra mile. They even have carts and wheelchairs available for displayed.

They don't do it themselves; instead used an independent contractor. The contractor was okay, did a good job in explaining things, what he was doing and what the process was. I will use them again in the future.

They had the required quantities and all the individual pieces were from the same color lot and none of them were broken inside the packaging. They held the material after I bought it without charging me and when it was time for pick-up, it was ready when I asked for it and they helped load it. When the work was done, they took back all the extra pieces without question. Not a complicated job such as installing it, but with everything else these days, getting the material and not having to worry about anything was nice.

The roofing experience was okay, no problems. We compared prices with other companies and their price was good. The roof is fine after a few years. The deck wasn't as good of an experience though.

The installers were very efficient and professional and communicated every step of the process. The workmanship was excellent and there were even 3 boxes of flooring left over due to the skill of the installer. We are very happy with the laminate flooring and would highly recommend them again.

I purchased a water heater with the install package from Lowes. When their contractor called, he did not use the correct number, then was not aware it was for an install, not an estimate. It took several calls to arrange a time and when he arrived, he told me that he couldn't install the heater because it wouldn't meet side clearance code and the drain pan was too high for the unit and he would have to remove it and redo the plumbing connections. He also didn't like that the unit was taller and would require redoing the water and gas line routing. He tried to get me to take the unit back and then get another one and call him directly for the install so he wouldn't have to get a permit and inspection. I had him return the unit and got a refund. I also verified through a hoome inspector that the unit would have met code and the pan could have been cut and the walls bent to meet the height requirement. He also said that as long as the heater met the manufacturers clearance to combustible surfaces, the heater would meet code. This installer was trying to cheat Lowes by having me hire him outside the Lowe's agreement.

They were helpful in picking the carpet. They did a good job helping us get a positive price. They were very timely and very efficient. I would recommend them and use them again.

My Lowe's kitchen project is a nightmare! Ten months later and they're still trying to repair the mess they made. I was scheduled to get another session of "rework" done today. The repairman showed up 5 hours late, dumped the cabinet materials, and left because he "had to take care of a dead horse." No better words have even been spoken - working with Lowe's is like working with a "dead horse."

The people at Lowe's are very professional and friendly. They do quality work and were very accommodating to any requests I had. I did not research how much this would have cost anywhere else, but I feel like their prices were very competitive.
