+ 0 moreMr Little arrived 30 minutes late He was driving a Mercedes and had his tools in the back seat! He was smoking a cigar which he dropped by my yard and when he was leaving he retrieved it! Along with his assistant, Tim, he cleared my overgrown back yard using a weed eater. They worked hard and I was ready to have him come back. I paid him $80 in check form. We made an appointment for him to come back at 8am the next day to talk with my husband about the next step in creating a pleasing back yard. He finally called at 10 am the next morning and said he overslept. They arrived at 11am. Mr Little told me he was going to pray about what to charge me and that he had been unable to cash the check I had given him because he did not have a picture ID! Then he told me he had thrown the check away and wanted cash!!! I told him I would give him cash after I had checked with the bank concerning the "lost" check and I sent him on his way. This was a ridiculous way to run a business and completely unprofessional.
Description of Work: Mr Little was hired to clear my back yard of weeds and prepare the area for sod and a patio.

+ 5 moreEverything I hired Mr. Little to do was done perfectly! His price was very reasonable for the amount of work he performed in my gardens and I'd be more than happy to recommend him to anyone. I plan to use him for many jobs in the future!!! Call him for any handyman job you might have...Mr. Little can do just about any job you need to have done and he works hard and quickly to please you!!
Description of Work: I raise and hybridize registered daylilies and have over a thousand plants in numerous, large beds. Being partially disabled, I have a horrible time keeping them weed-free, especially in the Spring of the year! My hubby works 6 days a week with 12-hour days, so this hard-working man has very little time available to assist me in gardening duties. I am very careful and exacting when it comes to my daylilies...I cannot afford to lose plants and my tags and records must be kept perfectly in order to keep from losing the identities of various plant breedings and names of registered flowers...this information is vital in my hybridizing program and plant sales! You can see why I would be VERY picky and demanding of anyone I employed to work in my gardens! Several of my area friends had used Mr. Little for various jobs and were very pleased with his work and the reasonable amounts he had charged for it...they highly recommended him to me, so I gave him a call. After discussing everything with Mr. Little and explaining how important it was not to disturb any tags, etc., I asked if he would be interested in the total cleaning of my daylily flower beds...this was going to include a tremendous of weeding, etc. on many, many beds, plus the application of mulch on all of them as well.. He said he would do a very good job on them, remembering my requirements and offered me a very reasonable price for doing the entire job, regardless of the amounr of time it required to complete. Mr. Little performed a perfect job in just over two days, which I thought was outstanding, considering the large amount of work involved!. My beds looked fabulous when he was through! I've NEVER seen them so clean and perfectly mulched!!! What a fantastic job!!!
