Jeff was very professional in our initial contacts and provided several helpful suggestions based on his experience. However, when we wanted something done a particular way, he was happy to do it our way. All of the guys that worked for Jeff and the plumber and tile guys that he uses were very skilled and conscientious about keeping the rest of our house as clean as possible, etc. I felt very comfortable that Jeff only uses top-notch guys because he is concerned about his reputation and wants to make the customer happy. By the way, I am familiar with the situation with the people who did not get callbacks. This was due to a small notebook that blew out of Jeff's truck on I-240 and lost the phone numbers. I know that Jeff felt bad about it, but things happen and I'm not sure why the folds didn't just call back. Overall, we were very pleased with everything, especially the beauty of our new bathroom, and would use HCCI again as well as recommend them to others.

I called for an estimate on bath remodel, got an answering machine. I received a call at end of the day (missed). I called back as directed using cell number, and was told he would call the following day to set up a time to come by. Never heard from him again, unlike the other contractors I called. Needless to say, I did not pursue. No idea how good the quality of work is, nor how reasonable an estimate might have been. This is a rating based purely on follow-through (or should I say, lack thereof).

When I called them, they were very friendly and they said they would be out the following day. He said he would call me in the morning to let me know what time. I never heard from him and no one has shown up, it is now three days later. I have left a message today and still haven't heard from them. I am very disappointed.

Steve (the owner I believe) was very polite when I called, and came to the house to give an estimate the next day. They were able to come within the week and do the job. We did the tear out ourselves and he was even able to give us some pointers on getting that done. In one day he and his crew laid the new tile, which included taking out the toilet and a 100 year old iron tub. Everything was done and back in place at the end of the day. The tub leaked a bit from being moved around and he came back and fixed it with no problems. I would definitely recommend him to others.

The estimator, Steve, did an excellent and thourough job of providing the bid. Although Hutzel was the middle bid out of 3, Steve and his subcontractors were professional, punctual, and a pleasure to meet. He provided his bid within the promised time frame and showed us a true enthusiasm for our project and Hutzel's prospective involvement. We think that they would have done an excellent job.

They were very responsive and came exactly when they said they would. They completed the job in one day and were very professional. We had a little leak in the bathtub afterward and he came promptly to seal it up and we have had no further problems. The floor is just beautiful and we were more than pleased with the quality and timeliness of their work!

They worked on a kitchen remodel for a customer of mine, I sell cabinets and design kitchens, anyway, they did an outstanding job. They met my customer's requirements and maintained the job site very well by keeping the dust and debris out of the rest of the house. All work was performed in a timely manner. This particular job went without any problems on the kitchen install as well as the construction, which is a rare thing. Outstanding job!!!

The results are fabulous. We are thrilled with the room. Being in the attic, it just gives it a unique shape and design. The quality of the work was great. They workers were wonderful. I do not want to tell the price but it was very fair.

Almost finished and they are doing a great job, they are neat and punctual. Their workmanship is excellent.
