I really just want to warn everyone do not work with me. I have an outstanding suit against him. He has caused me to lose hundreds of thousands of dollars. He kind of disappeared and didn't finish either project. He is a crook. He is bottom of the barrel on everything, but a good con-man.

The project started out well. Hilliard has great vison but it stopped there. He initially had a partner who they claimed was a contractor but I later found was not. Some of the really negative: 1. He would disappear a week at a time. 2. The business partner disappeared a couple of months into the project. 3. Ridiculously over budget, 4. Ridiculously behind in schedule, 5. He told subcontractors to apply MY checks to other projects he was working on (Embezzlement), 6. I ended up spending about $20,000 to settle a lawsuit that he caused by taking down a fence that I told him not to. 7. Moved on with contruction without getting a framing final. 8. Painting cost me about $25,000 extra because his painter of choice was horrible and I asked him to terminate the realtionship several times. The painter was not even using the right paint and I had to have it all redone. 9. He owes money to some subcomtractors on other projects and they refuse to make corrections on my project. 10. He let his contractor's license expire and the State of TN is after him. He may have a Mississippi or an Arkansas license now. If anyone is considering using him I cannot urge you to find someone else.He is a shady character.

My experience with them was absolutely awful. He promised us a project that would be finished in sixty days. It wasn't completed when we asked him to leave a year later. I would tell anybody to stay away from him and not to use him.
