+ -1 moreNot sure that we saved any money going with HH Gregg. We have spent more than the money we saved eating out/shopping for food that did not need to be cooked. We are still waiting for appliances to be delivered that were ordered a month ago. Add to this the promise of, "Let me track down your order and I will call you right back," never to be heard from again. If it is in stock you will not have to wait as long, perhaps a week or two. Overall, definitely not worth the aggravation.
Description of Work: We bought several appliances to include oven and stove.

+ -1 moreBottom Line: In store service: Excellent Delivery & Installation Experience: Lackluster and Disappointing We purchased a washer and dryer and had excellent service in the store. Greg was our sales man. The price was the reason we chose to purchase them here. The delivery was horrible. We were scheduled for a Saturday and they did not arrive until 6:30 in the evening and then told us they could not install it because of their policy and because of the size of the laundry closet. We knew it would be time intensive and we believe this is why they did not do it. They called us a week later and said they could in fact install it, after we had found an independent company to install it for us. Since we had already paid HHGregg, we agreed to have them come back out. However, they had not asked some basic questions about our electical capacity for the area and again, were unprepared for the delivery and installation. After waiting three weeks, we finally had it installed by an independent contractor.
Description of Work: Purchase and Delivery of a washer and dryer unit.

Description of Work: Bought a Samsung dishwasher from hhgregg in July 2012. Last week I noticed water coming out from beneath the door while a wash cycle was going. Called hhgregg and they told us we had to contact their service provider (A&E repair) to schedule a repair appointment since it was still under warranty. They were scheduled to come out today between 1 & 5pm. I waited till 5pm and called A&E. They said the technician would contact us.....he didn't. I called A&E back and they said it would be another hour and a half.....which would be 6:30pm. I told them I wanted to reschedule for the next earliest appointment date. They said I would have to wait 4 days. This is not good in any way. They didn't call me and I had to reschedule. The dishwasher can't be used. I called the hhgregg store manager and he was indifferent because he said it's their fault. Well I bought the dishwasher from hhgregg and they aren't standing behind their product. This was the first (and last) item I will buy from hhgregg. Wendell Parham

+ -1 moreGreg Franklin was the man who helped us decide what appliances were best for us. He was an excellent salesman who was by no means pushy and offered his opinions regardless of the appliances cost/rating. It was clear that he was looking out for our best interest and not for the bottom line which is rare nowadays. If we need to purchase appliances in the future, we will go to Greg first. Both my husband and I thought he was the manager because he was so experienced and excellent in his assistance. We especially appreciated that he did not give us any cheesy salesman speak or jokes that are such a turn off. This man needs to be promoted! hhgregg also had the best prices. The installation people were another story though...

+ -1 moreWe used them because of the customer service and the price. We really searched around as far as prices and what was offered. They offered the most on their appliances for the price. There was quite a bit of dramatic difference compared to other companies. They were very on time with delivery and it was actually free delivery, which is hard to find nowadays. They were great and they came on time. They didn't give us a 5-hour window. They were here when they said they would be and they came in and set up the appliances and explained what they needed to explain. It was great. Their prices were a good $100 difference compared to other stores, which was incredible to us.
Description of Work: We upgraded all our appliances with HH Gregg. We bought a washer, dryer, refrigerator and oven. They were upgraded appliances because we went with more advanced technology than the basics we had put in when we built our house.
