 + -1 moreHe was punctual in his appointment to discuss the project. He expressed interest as we discussed the job, and as he left he indicated that he would develop a proposal with an estimate. We never heard from him again.

Description of Work: The front stone fence on our home had started to fall apart and was a danger to people who might visit the house. Mr. Hernandez rebuilt the small portion that was broken and pointed a few bad spots in the wall, as well as created from cement a spot where a stone had once been.

 + 0 moreAt the time I needed the repair done, I checked Angie's list, and Hernandez Masonry was not listed. One company on the list was too busy to do my work, and the other company never answered their cell phone and did not have voice mail activated. I found Hernandez Masonry in the yellow pages. Ciro has 30 years of masonry experience. He and his team are very professional, and will get the job done right, fast, and at a reasonable price. Ciro visited several brick companies to search for the brick that would match the existing sidewalk. I recommend them enthusiastically!
Description of Work: Our front brick walkway was dug up due to a water pipe break. Rather than patch the damaged area, we wanted a much larger section replaced, hoping to match the existing masonry. We called Hernandez Masonry and talked to the owner, Ciro. He came out the next morning with a very reasonable estimate: $2500 for the labor if I wanted to buy the supplies myself (about $700 worth of brick and supplies), or $3500 and he would take care of everything. The next day they came and dug out the old walkway and laid a new concrete foundation. They began at 7 am and worked very hard. The next day they laid the brick, and on the last day they added the mortar. Then they cleaned up, leaving the work area in great shape with a beautiful new brick walkway.
