Description of Work: I have used them many times. I have found then to be thorough, knowledgeable, and very fair with their prices.

Description of Work: Greenway was used as part of an AHS Claim on a few occasions. They are the only ones besides SEARS that AHS uses in this area for the repairs discussed. The first thing GHS does is look for reasons you are not covered. The first time the technician simply lied about the HVAC, which we know since our regular MX provider came in right after and showed us the real problem. Since it was not "broken", only vibrating, it wouldn't be covered by AHS anyway. We blame that on AHS for setting up the appointment in the first place. More recently, we requested service on an oven exhaust fan. GHS promptly told us it wasn't covered because it was not from normal wear and tear but our misuse. Unfortunately for this tech, GHS was the firm that repaired this same item 5 years earlier, which caused the problem. It was never done right. It's no good talking to GHS or AHS because they don't care about customer satisfaction. Use them both at your own risk. We currently have an issue with the control panel on our dishwasher, which, you guessed it GHS repaired several years ago.

Description of Work: Tried to repair an LG dishwasher. They were unfamiliar with the model, but pressed on, eventually ruining the whole dishwasher. They replaced the dishwasher for us, after a great deal of negotiating.

Description of Work: Replaced entire a/c and heating system. Did it in one day, no inconvenience. |Serviceman came in December to do inspection, told me I needed to replace filters, which I had thought were permanent. When I called to verify, it was explained to me that the proper filters needed to be replaced twice a year for $180 each time, but because this had not been explained to me properly when the system was installed, the service manager promised me a set for free and they were delivered promptly. No question that I'll use them again.

Description of Work: The technician left us worried about our fireplace! He wasn't sure and didn't trust that the work he did was sufficient! It was a total waste of money and time. An early Christmas present for him as we had to call someone else to complete the job! (Southern Hearth:call now)

Description of Work: We have a contract with them to come out twice a year to inspect the heating/cooling systems and we pay a monthly premium for this contract so there is no charge when they come out to inspect twice a year. We love Greenway and have been very pleased with them through the years. They are extremely professional and courteous and everyone we have ever dealt with from the office staff to the technicians were very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them!

Description of Work: I was quoted on a new Trane air conditioning unit and their quote was approximately $5,000 more than any other bid. For obvious reasons, I didn't use Greenway.

Description of Work: Fixed shower head leak. I thought it was a little pricey. Good customer service.

Description of Work: Repaired several leaky faucets and toilets. The technician was prompt in arriving, very friendly, performed his work quickly, and insured everything was cleaned up when he was complete. Price seemed pretty average based on the other quotes I received. Appreciate the follow-up quality assurance call to insure the work was satisfactory. Would use again.

Description of Work: Responded to sewer backup, and replaced damaged food disposal. Spent many hours and several days probing for a nonexistent clean out. Installed ~ 175 feet of new sewer line at a reasonable price, and paid for our dinner and hotel when an unmarked water supply line was cut. Helpful, with great attitudes throughout. The only negative- I understand letting the soil settle, but it took almost two months to return to cut down the new clean outs and haul off most of the debris.

Description of Work: I just bought a house and my water heater went out and it took them 6 weeks to get it fixed. In addition, the previous owner of the house used them to fix a water pipe in the bathroom and just 4 months later there's another issue with the work they performed. When I called to give my comments about the quality of the work performed, there was not accountability for the poor service and work. I will not do business with them in the future.

Description of Work: Greenway has been supplying service for my home warranty service for 10 years. I have been forced to use them and every time they have come out the issue has rarely one that they would cover. In 2008 they replace our air conditioning unit. Claiming that it was old and worn out so didn't fall under a warranty repair. Replaced system system has worked well with periodic maintenacne. Stopped cooling this weekend. They came out again it was not a warranty issue and again I needed a new system. This was a well maintained system with no prior issues and is less than 4 years old. Will never use Greenway again and would recommend that they not be used as I do not feel that they are honorable.

Description of Work: Greenway was sent out by our home warranty people to do a second inspection of my cooktop and vent hood, which the previous owners had left in such a filthy mess they could not be used. The tech said I needed new burners and grills, but when he couldn't find the cooktop model number he changed his tune. Most of the call was spent in him dishing my brother-in-law who used to be his boss. I have had to pay for cleaning and repairs on these two appliances myself.
