Travis Kee and his employees are outstanding. We recommend them wholeheartedly. The work was scheduled to occur during what turned out to be a rainy, cold time period. Mr. Kee was watching the weather reports and in touch with us regularly. They believed (and they were right) that the Friday after Thanksgiving would offer the best conditions for installation, so they did the work then on what would probably have been a day off for them. As others have noted,, Mr. Kee is very responsive and meticulous about the work being done. He clearly knows his business--he commented on the various types of roofs in our midtown neighborhood. It really was terrific that he stayed with his crew the entire time they were working. We have had other vendors who just drop off a crew, but Mr. Kee was there to nip any problems in the bud. Just terrific! Perhaps the best part is the perfect match he made with the shingle choice. Our townhouse community was built some 30 years ago, and he was able to match up the shingles exactly. We had contacted three roofers, and Mr. Kee was far and away the most professional. His company is licensed, insured, and bonded, which is something we insist upon. We will us them again and recommend them.

Excellent roofing has put on two roofs on two different homes of mine over the past 5 years and all work has been fantastic. No surprises, good quality and completed to my satisfaction! This job was to put in a new vent pipe for a tankless hot water heater and take out the old vent pipe and patch the roof in a different place where that had been. All work was done without problems and promptly in budget. Also, about 6 months ago they fixed a water leak caused from an overflow of my gutters on my house since the new roof had been on for over 2 years without any problems. They had their men come out and dry the damaged area. Put in new insulation, dry wall and spray a popcorn ceiling in the master bedroom closet. All work was excellent and they even went and got new matching paint for the wall after the paint I gave them was the wrong color. Always on time, very clean and courteous. A great company!

Simply a pleasure to work with John. His crew turned up when they told me, were courteous to guests we had staying with us during the repairs, did a fantastic job for a competitive price and cleaned up spotlessly. We had a break in the cold November weather and I gave John the go ahead to start on a Monday morning, within an hour he had his crew on site, mobilized and started the demo. He was complete with the roof in 3 days, just before the rain came back. John has all the equipment for a safe and efficient tear out and install, and I cannot recommend his company highly enough. John also performed additional work such as gutter replacement, replacement of rotten woodwork and some dry wall repairs inside the house. All in all a first rate company that delivers on their promise ? something of a rarity these days!

Highly recommend!! Very professional, excellent work!! Fast and reliable... they protected all of my bushes and flower beds, picked up all discarded nails and debris. Took a giant magnet around my house every day so I would not puncture my tires and even came back and vacuumed my attic when it was over!! I would absolutely recommend these guys again!!!!

He never called back, I guess he is not interested in smaller jobs.

From the start Travis is a great contractor to work with. Always in touch and prompt..actually better than I was following up. He came out, took a look, and had a quote within 24 hours. It was a competitive quote, but not the cheapest. He even recommended other options if I wanted a different type of flat roof that might be cheaper. However, in doing follow up and research, he was providing the best guarantee of work and the most complete estimate. Often, with the low quotes, you are going to find unexpected cost overruns. Travis came through on budget, even with an unforeseen problem with the underlying ceiling thanks to some water damage. He and his crew were there early and moved fast. Any work is a disruption, but after 6 hours the new roof was done and you couldn't even tell they were there, except our driveway was cleaner than before they got to work. The roof is quality material and I observed the work was quality too. Unlike some contractors, Travis wants you to know what he is doing and why. He checked in at each stage and encouraged my wife to take pictures during the work. In Memphis, there are a lot of unlicensed folks that will throw you a "deal." Let me tell you, you get what you pay for, and you lose all that initial savings when someone has to repair or replace it way too soon. We researched several contractors to do this work, and Travis was clearly the best value. The price was competitive, and the quality of work is way beyond what you are likely to get for any less money.

I'm stationed in Florida and was looking for a roofing company to reroof our old house in Memphis. I spoke to John over the phone and within 24 hours I had a series of quotes custom tailored to my budget including pictures of all damage found. I confirmed with John over the phone the next day and within 48 hours my house had a brand new roof. I am extremely pleased with the outcome -- my house looks brand new. Excellent Roofing didn't make me chose between budget friendly and professional quality work. After haggling around with other roofers, I can say without a doubt if I ever have to recommend a roofer it will be Excellent Roofing.

Excellent Roofing owner, John Bennett, was a pleasure to work with. His professionalism and that of his crew was outstanding. The quality of his work is the best I have ever experienced from a roofing company and made me realize that I had made an excellent choice by hiring him to replace the roof and 6 skylights. As soon as the crew arrives at the house with all of their equipment you know that this is not your ordinary roofing company. Excellent Roofing uses container boxes on lifts that rise to the roof level and eliminates throwing shingles to the ground damaging your bushes and flowers. This is just one example of the things that Excellent Roofing does that separates them for all the other roofers in Memphis and makes them the top choice for a quality roof. We also had 6 skylights replaced. It turned out that 5 of the 6 we had were not standard size and would have to be special ordered. Special ordering the current sizes was going to be expensive. John and my brother thought it through and figured out a way to modify the window openings to accept a standard size and reduce costs. Johns crew did all of the carpentry work including painting the interior wood to match the ceiling. Throughout the project John was there to answer all of my questions and concerns. Scheduled estimate promptly after called, was on time, pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. The estimate was competitive. While we did not choose this company in the end, it was a very close finalist, and the choice of the other company does not reflect on this one at all; we would have been very comfortable using this company.

Tremendous experience! Quality and workmanship are excellent but the customer service is superior. John is not happy until the customer is happy and treated this roof job like it was his own. May not be the cheapest alternative but he is, by far, the best value. I highly recommend.

Work was done within the week, as promised. Estimate given day following call. Work was done efficiently. Mr. Kee was on site and inspected work as it was being done. Work area was kept neat and workers were respectful a and efficient .

'Everything was done that was on the bid and then some. Older homes always have some issues that usually aren't visible until everything is torn off and this was no exception but the extra cost was very reasonable and needed to be done. Kee roofing came over same day that I called for a quote and had the job completed the next week. They worked twelve hours and finished the whole job in one day with the owner Travis Kee working along side of his crew from beginning to end. They also did the best clean up of the yard and drive that I have ever seen on a roofing job. We were so impressed that Travis roofed my son house a week later with the same results. Travis delivers what he quotes with quality work done with your best interest in mind. His quotes were dead in the middle of the three that we got for these two jobs but I don't think anybody could have delivered a better roofing experience for our two properties.

Wish I had an A plus to give this roofing company!!! John Bennett runs this company, and although you may pay top dollar, it was the best service I have ever received! When they tore off old roof they used machines that caught the shingles up by the house and left zero debris, unlike the last time when i found tacks for months. He installed solar attic fans and any workman that does work here comments on the way it is finished out. At the end of the job they vacuumed my attic, and it was cleaner than before they started. Workmen all wear excellent roofing shirts and seem very trustworthy and polite. He also does inspections. It's been two years now, but I have a lifetime warranty on the roof and don't expect any problems. If I do I know who to call. Would never use anyone else!

I hired Kee Roofing to replace my roof after contacting four companies for estimates. All four sent representatives, but only two of them followed through with written proposals. I chose Kee Roofing because I was favorably impressed by the owner of the business, Travis Kee, and the fact that he personally supervises every job he undertakes. By this I mean he is on the job with his crew from start to finish. After observing and interacting with Travis over the course of the day and a half it took to complete the roof, I am convinced that you would be hard pressed to find a more knowledgeable, conscientious and hardworking individual. Travis and his men exceeded my expectations and I would not hesitate to recommend him for any roofing work. Additionally, I chose Travis even though his bid was the higher of the two I received and I have no regrets on that score. I do not believe that I could have gotten a better result at any price.

The estimate was probably very fair, and the guarantee was longer than those providing other estimates - 3 years instead of 1 year, but the estimate was a little higher than i was hoping, so I went with a different provider.

They were one of the several providers that I had called to find out about the roofing. I had a specific request about roofing since I wanted reflective roofing. He really talked to me like he wanted me to understand it and that I was capable of understanding unlike a lot of companies who have the tendency to just push what they want on you. He was not like that. He listened to what I wanted and he suggested the things that I could do. He was extremely thorough over the phone even before he came out to do the pricing. From that point onward they were just great. They were some inside repairs too that they had to do to my house. All of his staff were just very thorough. I had two spots where the roof had leaked and they fixed it so well that one could not tell that anyone was in there. Usually when you have the repairs people come in they make a mess but even though they clean most of it there would be something that you would have to fix. But with them there was nothing. It was just unbelievable. I wish they would do every kind of repair that there was because I would have them for everything. They are expensive but they are worth it.

I contacted Travis Kee, of Kee Roofing to inspect and hopefully repair a leak that was staining the interior ceiling in my ranch style house. During our initial conversation he asked for a general description of the situation and the general condition and age of the roof. He indicated upfront that the depending on the source of the leak, that repair could be a relatively inexpensive for a simple repair up to a few thousand dollars if the entire dormer had to be taken reconstructed. We scheduled an appointment for the inspection. Travis actually showed up a few minutes early, which in my experience is a nice change. Since this is a ranch style house with an open attic, Travis initially inspected the underside of the roof around the dormer. He then climbed onto the roof to inspect the flashing and shingles around the dormer. He immediately identified one issue with the caulking, which might contribute to the problem but was probably not the root cause. I informed him that I a had kept a bundle of the original roofing material (always do this!). Given this information Travis recommended that as an initial step the shingles could be pulled along the side of the dormer to see if the trouble spot could clearly be identified. Within a few minutes he found the likely source of the leak and spent the next 30 minutes performing the repair. After completing the repair he used a hose to run water along the dormer to see if there was still an obvious leak (there wasn't). He requested that I contact him after the next heavy rain to let him know if the roof was still leaking. Travis was very professional and I will contact him for any future roofing work that I need to have performed.

John with Excellent Roofing was very responsive and professional. We knew we had an old roof, and when we experienced a leak we called several contractors. John was prompt, professional, and provided great detail. He described in detail the issues with the roof, and the potential advantages/disadvantages of a repair vs replacement. At all times his communication was excellent. I ultimately decided to replace the roof. John's estimate was very close to that of someone who came to us through friends/neighbors with a very strong recommendation. While we decided not to use Excellent, it was only because the other roofer gave us a slightly better price.

Travis Kee is an amazing worker and person. He showed up on time and did a fantastic job for me. This is the second tome I have used Travis and will always use him in the future. If you want great work done from a real gentleman, call Travis.

Skylights starting leaking after a new roof was put on. Travis repaired them I have had no problems. He gave me an estimate on one visit and did the repairs on another visit. He was prompt, honest, knowledgeable and very efficient. He was so nice and definitely Mr. Personality. I would definitely recommend Kee Roofing and will use them again should I have a problem arise.
