They were very punctual and professional. They were quick but thorough. They cleaned up so well that when they left, you couldn't tell they had ever been on the property. I will absolutely use these guys in the future and will tell all my friends about them.

John responded to my call and set up an appointment. He brought samples to nail on the roof when I was ready for the project. He was very knowledgeable and I was appreciative of his expertise, certification with several roofing companies along with great Angie's List reviews. We selected the GAF Timberline American Harvest shingles in Nantucket Gray. He also quoted Arrowline metal shingles that would not fit in the neighborhood but my husband is getting installed on a house in Dayton. Due to added expense and steep 13/12 roof in a asphalt shingle neighborhood that idea was quickly eliminated. We added Cobra ridge vents, drip edges, tiger paw underlayment and 25 year golden pledge warranty to the original quote of $11,970. The distributor dropped off the shingles and other products before the job began. The crew showed up and I was introduced to the foreman, Daniel. They worked section by section and installed the new shingles. The job was essentially complete in three days. They used a buggy and dumpster to clean up every day. Not a scrap of roofing, felt or even a nail was missed. The roof looks beautiful. John Bennett, the owner, came by several times as the work progressed and with the GAF inspector. The best way to contact him after your initial call is by text as he is frequently on a roof or a project.

I am sure I had them from Angie’s List. I was pleased with their service and I thought the price was reasonable. The guy did it in a reasonable amount of time and the owner came out and met with me first and gave me an estimate and he was very professional. I recommended him to my friends and stuff. I was fairly pleased with the way it looks and I didn’t have to sit around and wait a month for them to finish. I think the guy had done it in three days and I am pretty sure. They sent like a big crew of people to do it. They may have asked me what type to put up there and what color would look nice and it turned out looking just really, really nice. I know at least one friend used them that I work with to do her roof. I was very, very impressed and I was a little bit nervous about getting it done because I wasn’t sure what color to get and I wasn’t familiar with different types of shingles and all that. The owner was just real patient with me. I don’t know if they are still on Angie’s List. His first name is John. When he came out he took all the time in world and he was very knowledgeable. Usually I am not just so impressed with everything because I am hard to please but they were fantastic.

I was very impressed with my initial interview with John. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. The work was complete in three days and the crew cleaned up both the yard and the attic. The price was somewhat higher than my other estimate, but I was willing to pay a bit more for the radiant barrier and solar fan. It is obvious that John and his crew take pride in their work and want to continue to build their reputation. I highly recommend their work.

Mr. Travis Kee came to my house in a very reasonable amount of time after I requested a quote to find out how much it would cost to fix the roof from the ice storm. During the initial meeting, Mr. Kee was very professional and friendly. By the end of the afternoon, he emailed me his proposal and sent me copies of the pictures he took so I could send them to my insurance. He and his crew came out to my house and spent 10 hours fixing a lot more than just damage to the roof from the storm. Before he fixed any problem that would cost additional money, he showed me the problem and gave me options on how I would want him to fix it. I had a lot of damaged wood that was not part of the storm damage. Travis Kee was so honest and upfront with every aspect of the job. I would use Kee Roofing any time I needed help with my roof. When the job was complete, they cleaned up the entire area, even had a magnet out picking up nails that might have fallen on the roof and ground. He even painted a pipe from the roof to make it look better. Mr. Kee is the owner, but he did not hesitate to work along side his crew to get the job done right. I would highly recommend Kee Roofing for any of your roofing needs. Mr. Kee is professional, honest, friendly and he keeps his word.

We had a tree branch go through the roof (just like in the movies). I got a temp patch put on but John came out, gave a fair estimate, worked with my insurance and got the roof fixed on time and on budget. He also installed gutters and leaf guards - the guys did a good job with that as well Would certainly use them again. Thanks again John

This is the second time I've called Kee Roofing and worked with Travis Kee. I am happy to have found a roofer who is responsive, professional and engaging. I appreciate that he suggested trying the simplest fix first. If that doesn't work, I trust him to do the next more complicated repair. I only wish the company that roofed my house before I bought it had paid as much attention to detail as Travis seems to.

Great job, good cleanup, time frame as promised.

I had been fighting a battle with a bad leaky roof for more than a year. My insurance company denied my claim (next goal ... new homeowner insurance company), and so out of my own pocket I was trying to patch here and there. Then either a new leak would start or one that was supposed fixed would start up again. I spent several hundred dollars on patching, and the problem was worse than ever. It was past time to have the roof replaced, at least the back half which was the worst, and I decided not to throw anymore money at the folks who kept patching and my roof kept leaking. I knew after 5 minutes that Mr. Kee was the man for the job. He was very courteous, extremely professional and quite sympathetic for my situation and all I'd been through. He gave me what I believe to be a very fair quote, and he was hired. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side, but within a couple of weeks, he and his crew (he didn't send a crew or drop off a crew, he came with and worked with them every step of the way) came early on the one day it was not too cold to get the job done before it was to rain again that afternoon. Mr. Kee is in my opinion an honest man with a strong Christian work ethic, and I would recommend him without hesitation. If/when I ever get my hands on enough money to do the other half of my roof, he's definitely the one I'm going to call. Thank you for a job well done and God Bless!

The provider exceeded my expectations. My expectation was that he would replace the shingles that came off. They not only did that, they also replaced shingles that were damaged. They did not try to pressure me into getting expensive services, like a new roof, even though I know I need a new roof. The 2 men who came, Travis and his partner, Jordan, were very professional and I would definitely be more than happy to hire them again. The price charged was reasonable. These are very honest people - both Travis and his partner, who take pride in their work and I appreciate their service.

Travis is the best! He replaced our roof last summer, at that time we asked Travis for a recommendation for gutter installation and just had our gutters put up per his recommendation. My husband had noticed a spot on the roof where the shingles seemed to be lifted so the gutter guy called Travis. Travis showed up that afternoon and made the repairs at no charge. The thing is, we realized the damage was actually caused by our house painters! But Travis still did the repair and didn't even charge us! Customer service is still alive!

I'm VERY pleased with the work done. Travis is a real professional. Definitely plan to call him again. Highly recommended.

John Bennett of Excellent Roofing provided the most comprehensive solution and took the time and effort to thoroughly explain all options for fulfilling our needs. The crew of up to 9 were timely, professional, and did excellent work. They provided adequate protection for our extensive landscaping, and attic contents. When showers interrupted work, the crew carefully tarped the unprotected deck. The job was completed as promised with two callbacks for minor items, both handled quickly the same day or next morning. Our roofline is steep and somewhat complex, but the crew had no problem dealing with the problems encountered. After 4 months we remain very pleased with the job and highly recommend their work.

This was my second time to utilize the services of Excellent Roofing and Mr. John Bennett. My first occasion was on my own home. On this occasion I recommended his company to my mother for her home in Southaven MS. The outcome was again very positive, as had been my initial experience. For this job budgeting was a primary concern as she is retired and on a limited income. So I quoted the job to 3 different companies. Mr. Bennett's proposal was not the least expensive of the three bids but fell in the middle. After careful consideration and discussion with my mother we decided to use Excellent Roofing never-the-less. The primary reasons were: a) responsiveness, b) attention to detail & c) prior experience & known quality of workmanship. Due to issues with responsiveness from the most competitive bidder we simply felt uncomfortable committing a down payment against that lower cost option. The cost differential was not insignificant to someone on a tight budget however the perceived risk outweighed that concern. For this reason I rated this project as a "B" on price. Once the details of the contract were reviewed and confirmed everything fell into place like clockwork. Anyone who takes the time to go through the details of the desired job with Mr Bennett carefully should have no surprises with the final outcome. We clearly defined what was to be done and the time frame it was to be accomplished. His roofing crew is fast and efficient in my observation. Once the job initiated Mr. Bennett called me each morning to outline his expectations of what would be accomplished during the course of the day and the expected state of completion by day's end. We addressed any details in question and those were reconciled typically same-day. For me that level of communication goes a long way toward not only utilizing his company again but also in recommending to others: very professional in my opinion. Job was largely completed in 3 days with some painting and detail work that carried over into approximately another 1 1/2 days. Clean-up was thorough and any additional clean-up requests were always responded to. I should also note that it his ability to bring multiple skills (i.e. carpentry & painting) to the table that makes Excellent Roofing an advantageous choice where multiple work aspects are needed. I had actually reached out to a fourth roofing contractor for a quote during the planning phase of this project. When the scope of the job was described in full, that fourth contractor told me that he simply could not accept that amount of work. HE then recommended that I contact Excellent Roofing. I mean how many companies would actually offer to send work to one of their competitors? I will be contacting Mr. Bennett again in the future when I decide to have exterior work done on my home. After the two very good experiences I've already incurred; I probably won't expend much time on competitive bidding.
