The technician they sent out was amazing. He has been doing this work for over 30 years, and his knowledge was amazing. In addition to that his personality was a plus. He answered all of our questions, and helped us to reprogram our system that I think was beyond what was required. I would recommend this provider to any of my friends. This TV was bought from HHGregg, with a 5 year extended warranty. The people at HHGregg were @ss^holes, but I went to their Warranty provider , who put me in contact with Custom Electronics. Although the parts needed were backordered by Sharp for two months, my contact at Custom kept me informed all along the way. Jennifer is GREAT!

Joe spent several minutes diagnosing our TV and determined the Optical Engine Assembly was bad. He didn't try to push us to repair the set, instead , he provided us with a very clear option to either spend upwards of $500 to repair it or replace the set. The in-home visit was worth the time and service call cost. I am very satisfied with our decision and will use Custom Electronics for future IT help.

They were very deceptive trying to scare me into using them or I would lose all my pictures when that was not true at all. They tried to charge me $259.00 to fix a camera that could be replaced at half the price. I declined service but did have to pay $75 plus tax just to have my camera looked at. They kept telling me I had corrupted media and they would not recover them unless I used their service. My son put the card in the computer and there was no problem with the card at all. I feel like they tried to dupe me into spending a a lot of money for no reason. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I called because our tuner wasn't working on our Pioneer television. I had been putting this off, knowing it would not only be expensive to have repaired, but also a hassle to get a 46 inch television into a repair shop. The owner of the company, which I learned is a family owned business, answered and was super helpful! He told me the steps to go through to reset the software which solved the problem! It is so refreshing to find someone who is so honest and a business that puts the customer first, instead of only being concerned with how much money they can make from them! We will definitely know exactly where to go the next time we need any electronics repaired!

Absolutely fabulous! The repairman came and diagnosed why my TV was not working and then after questioning me, told me that I had an extended warranty. He then stayed while I called the warranty service and answered their questions and helped me file the claim! As a result I am getting a new TV, free, due to a defect covered under warranty. The serviceman was kind, courteous, and very helpful.

I took them a JVC television (approx. a 15 year old tube type) Within a few days I was advised of the problem and was given an estimate for repairs. Within a reasonable amount of time to account for the time it took for parts to be shipped in, the work was completed to my satisfaction. Final cost was exactly the same as the original estimate. They were very courteous, and did everything they said they would do. I would highly recommend Custom Electronics to anyone in need of TV repairs.

They had fast service, a reasonable price, and obviously well-trained in modern media repair. There was a $35 diagnostic fee.
