I hired Conlee Construction in August 2018 to repair my leaking roof and after so many return visits, I couldn't keep count, today February 27th I hired another contractor to repair my leaking roof. HOW WOULD YOU RATE THIS JOB?

Response from Conlee Construction
All work performed for this customer was done in a professional manner. We understand he is in the process of selling his home The work performed was to stop a leak over an overhang above the entryway to the home. This was accomplish by removing the defective material covering the area and installing new wood and flat roof roll top material and sealing it to stop the leaking. We also sealed large areas of wood trim which showed splitting and even painted the wood for him after sealing. When a small amount of water subsequently appeared after a large rain, we found by testing that a large amount of the brick in the area was damaged and allowing water in. We advised him he needed a professional to take a look at it for him. The customer watched the testing and saw the water leaking. When he continued to complain, but did nothing to have the brick work repaired we hired, at our expense, another contractor to meet with him, which they did. They apparently re-did some or all of our work but also advised him his brick needed work ( which he continued to ignore). Now that he has apparently sold his home, we believe he has chosen to file this review in order to avoid full disclosure to his buyer regarding his having been advised about the damaged brick on the Tennessee Residential Property Disclosure Form. (TN Code Ann. Sec. 66-5-201 et seq.) by denying any knowledge of that fact even though he has been so advised. We believe that we handled his problem in a professional manner and did all we could to fix the leaking and advised him of additional steps he need to take to cure the problem.
